Always leave happy when I stop in! My favorite smoothies are the Mango Mama and the Green Monster but I have loved everything I've tried so far. The coffee drinkers in the family love their coffee drinks, too. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The space is bright, filled with plants and a few different seating options, including a larger area upstairs and outdoor seating when weather permits.

Highly recommended and so glad I stopped in to Nona's! Welcoming before you even step foot in the store with chairs set up outside for enjoying your drink of choice but also so much to look at once you walk through the doors with the many environmentally friendly items for purchase, beyond their fun espresso drinks and smoothies. Modern vibe throughout, with plenty up seating both upstairs and down but upstairs offers a more quiet experience between the various seating nooks. I opted for an cold brew and cream, which was great. I am a huge fan of Anodyne coffee so this partnership between two local businesses is a win win for everyone. I have been a fan of sweet foams lately and would love to see this added to the menu (maybe it was an option if I had asked!). When I'm looking for a tasty option for smoothies and lattes, nona's will definitely be a place I return to in the future!

I was convinced by my son that we needed to try Nona during an early morning walk. He was right. This locally owned Elm Grove cafe offered the prefect refreshments after our walk. The owners seem to take careful strides in selecting products that live up to a clean lifestyle. They offer an abundance of supplements both for purchase, as well as additions to the numerous drinks on the menu. Today I went with a traditional iced latte. Its flavor delivered all the rich coffeeness I was looking for and for $5 was a great price. My son went with the starburst smoothie. I tried it and loved the flavor. I was picking up flavors like blue moon, but maybe that's just me. The decor is fresh, clean and very welcoming. The staff were very pleasant as well. No doubt this has made it on our rotation of locally owned cafes.

Ordered the cold brew with splash of oat milk and a starburst smoothie to share. Starburst smoothie tasted magical, literally like a strawberry starburst candy but with wholesome/healthy ingredients. I liked the ice texture for the cold brew, had kind of a slushy feel. Good vibes and lots of natural light in the cafe.

I love Nona! I've been here a few times- sometimes going there with intentions, other times popping in on a whim while out on errands. I've tried a few smoothies so far the menu is so large and there are so many I want to try! They then make my choices even harder by adding seasonal options lol! You can also adjust or create your own which is really nice or request things like a thicker or thinner smoothie and how that might happen by adding item "x". I'm always super full from these protein packed smoothies and it's just such a nice treat! So happy to have a place like this close by.

Tried Nona for the first time today and I'm already obsessed. I grabbed the Green Dream smoothie which has spinach, banana, pineapple, mango nectar, coconut cream, raw honey, and banana whey protein. It was so delicious and exactly what I needed! I love that they're transparent about their ingredients and that they use a lot of coconut-based products (like coconut creamer and cream). It's perfect if you're dairy-free. They also offer acai bowls, keto/low-cal smoothies, coffee, lattes, and even protein powders and granola bars for sale. The staff were super friendly and helpful and there's even an upstairs area with plenty of seating, so it's a great spot to hang out or get some work done. I definitely want to try their matcha smoothie or one of the acai bowls next!

Date of visit: November 24, 2025…read more I don't stop here often, but I was on this side of Burleigh, hitting some other places at Mayfair Collection and I needed just a couple of things for dinner. Walking over to Whole Foods was a lot easier than risking my life crossing the street here! The store was bright and in good condition. Like most grocery stores, any employee I encountered was not concerned with me and went about their business. The pasta sauce I found was naturally more expensive than across the street at Meijer, but I liked that it was from a family brand instead of some giant conglomerate. The self-checkout line was pretty long so I went with a cashier and she was more pleasant than your average Kroger employee, so I'll call that a win.

During the holiday time going in the afternoon can be a little risky I did have to stop at another store for more of the main flowers but it was definitely due to the time of year.

I've really enjoyed their housemade corned beef hash, country fried steak, and hash browns, in particular, but I have no complaints about any dish I've had. They also offer a Mimosa Flight that I plan to order on a future visit, and I get a kick out of tje robot that brings the dishes to your table for the servers to unload. The first couple of times I visited this restaurant, my experiences were great. Unfortunately, my…read moresecond-to-last visit was extremely disappointing. The manager made an effort to make things right for my family and me, and I appreciated that. Because of that, I decided to give the restaurant another chance, and the service was better overall. However, there was still a significant communication issue regarding the complimentary meals. Our waitress told us that the manager would be comping three meals, which was completely fine since I had brought my daughter with me this time. She asked who the three meals were for and pointed to my fiancé, my mom, and me. I confirmed that was correct. However, when we received the receipt, my mom's meal had been charged. My fiancé ended up paying for it, which I appreciated, but the situation was frustrating and could have easily been avoided with better communication. Unfortunately, we also had the same waitress who had served us during our previous visit. I understood that she was having her first day during our earlier experience, so I tried to be patient and give her another opportunity. This time, though, her attitude felt noticeably different, and I couldn't help but feel that it may have been because I had previously complained about the service. There were several issues during our meal the first time we came (the time before this last visit) We waited approximately 5-10 minutes for water, and my fiancé's pancakes arrived extremely late--he had already finished his main course by the time they were brought to the table. Unfortunately, the pancakes were also not good by the time they arrived. And my smoothie didn't come til I had to ask multiple times. I genuinely wanted to give this restaurant another chance because I still love the food, and I appreciate that the manager previously tried to make things right. However, between the repeated service issues, the lack of communication regarding the complimentary meals, and the uncomfortable experience with the waitress, I don't feel comfortable returning to this location. I will continue enjoying the food, but from now on, I will be visiting the West Allis location instead. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because the restaurant has great food, but the service and communication need significant improvement.

Date of delivery: December 5, 2025…read more I have had a bit of a struggle with Panera's online ordering and delivery at other locations and unfortunately this new outlet on Mayfair road is suffering from the same issues. The order was for during a working meeting and I left clear instructions to deliver to the third floor, where my office is, and if the door was locked, to leave it on the table outside of the door. Not only was it not delivered to the third floor, but it was left on the ground. Food should never be on the ground, really, even if it is in a bag. And with this being an office building with many other businesses, leaving this at the main entrance, unattended under the Christmas tree, it had many opportunities to be taken, stepped on, or become cold as this was left right outside the main entrance to the building. At lunchtime. Food was good, though they gave us four spoons for one mac & cheese and one broccoli cheddar. The bag even said "2 spoons" on it... On the positive side, Barb from the restaurant responded to my review right away and offered to make it right.

One downside is you have to stop and check in at the kiosk before driving up. Bummer that there isn't a pickup only lane like the Capitol location. Service was attentive and the food came out fast -- both things you want on a Sunday morning when you're still in your church clothes and not quite ready to commit to a long sit. I skipped the coffee and went with the pink juice. It leaned more tart than sweet, which I did not mind, and it was genuinely pretty in the glass -- but at $9, I found myself doing the math. The menu did not specify the size, though I am guessing it was an 8 oz pour, and it came fairly full of ice. Refreshing, yes. Repeatable at that price, I am not sure. For food, I had the classic breakfast -- two eggs over easy, sourdough toast, and roasted potatoes. Simple and exactly what I was in the mood for. Hubby went with the brioche breakfast sandwich: scrambled eggs, cheddar, thick-cut bacon, and chipotle aioli on toasted brioche, with hash browns on the side. He was happy with it. The menu has a lot of options, and there are plenty of ways to upgrade or customize, though most come with an added cost. You can swap your side to fresh fruit or a salad for $1 more, which is a reasonable upcharge if that is what you are after. Worth knowing if you are going with a larger group on the weekend: no split checks on Saturdays or Sundays for parties of 6 or more. The weather cooperated and all the windows and patio doors were open. Plenty of patio seating was available when we arrived, which made the whole experience feel a little more relaxed. A solid Sunday morning stop.
