He helped me choose a beautiful, high-quality laminate floor that was exactly what I was looking for, and he gave me a great price. They guided us from the first day we stepped in the store. When we didn't understand something, wanted to switch colors, find products within our price range..., they were there to assist us. They were professional, friendly, and extremely patient. If there was something that a contractor did that they didn't agree with, they were quick to call them back out to make adjustments. They took us to the various warehouses and helped us select colors that compliment each other. We learned quite a bit about contracting and remodeling from them throughout this process. They did the job very professionally, and since they had time left over (their minimum job is three hours), we even managed to fix up another spot on the carpet that wasn't quite right. They did such a good job, I decided to call them back when I bought a new home and needed to refloor the entire house with engineered wood downstairs and carpet upstairs. Their bid was highly competitive and they rolled with the punches when schedules shifted (we had plumbing issues on the initial day that they were supposed to work, which pushed everything back). The finished result is gorgeous. We had asked for a lot of detail work on the stairs and they actually delivered above and beyond what we were hoping for. I'd definitely recommend calling Carpet on the Road for anyone looking to upgrade their floors.
