Sales man was nice and helpful, Guys doing the installation did a poor job. I had to tell them to turn off their darn radio when they were told to resecure lose 2nd floor boards that creaked. I had to show them where by stepping on places and when I stopped showing them, they stopped. Carpet was not properly stretched, places in the bathroom buldged up and I had to call them back out to redo a seam behind the toilet that had a 1/4" offset that they thought was hidden enough to ignore. Simply them being lay and a poor quality work ethic. Also, the owner of Carpets 4U had me pay a portion of my bill directly by personal check to one of the workers. Probly to avoid employment and immigration laws and so his company didnt have one of the installers on the books. If you hire this company, supervise everything they do and be critical and dont pay untill its done right. Make only one payment and that should be to Carpets 4U. Mary assisted us in the showroom, she was so kind and helpful and spent a LOT of time with us. She was so friendly and patient, she answered ALL of our questions, ordered us multiple carpet samples and was really just great. Dennis came to our home to do the measurements, he was quick, thorough and very accurate (based on the amount of carpet that was left over) :) And, last but certainly not least... their installers! I always say that a business (and business owners) are only as great as their employees and these 2 gentlemen sure did (and do) make this business great! They both told me they have been with the company for over 20 years and spoke very highly of their owners/bosses & other coworkers. They worked so efficiently together and were very neat and tidy and respectful of our home. They put everything back exactly where it belonged and never complained about some our ridiculously heavy furniture :) Getting new carpet in your home is kind of a pain, and a LOT of work but it ended up not being nearly as chaotic as I thought it was going to be... Carpets 4U was recommended to me by a co-worker who had their home re-carpeted and re-tiled. This is going to be the second time we used them. I recently had them put all new flooring (tiles, carpets and baseboards) in my single family home. Could not be happier with the way things came out. These folks are a friendly family business who are helpful and deliver what they promise. Would recommend them without hesitation. This company was absolutely great to work with from start to finish. Mary assisted us in the showroom, she was so helpful and kind. She was friendly and patient, she answered ALL of our questions, showed us multiple carpet samples and was really great. They (Mary and Linda) even came out to the house to get an idea of the task at hand and to make suggestions and recommendations. Dennis came to our home to do the measurements, he was thorough and very accurate (based on the amount of carpet, tile and baseboard). And, last but certainly not least... their installers! Started with the demo guys, they were quick and took out all the debris and tried to cleanup as much as possible for the next phase which is the tile installation. The 2 tile guys(Mike and Noah) were very skilled in cutting and laying out through accurate measurements. It's like designing and working with puzzles. After completing the tile installation, they started and completed the installation of the baseboards. Both did an excellent job. Business are only as great as their employees and owners these 2 guys(employees) sure did make this business great! They both told me they have been with the company for over 20 years and spoke very highly of their owners/ bosses. They worked so efficiently together and were very neat and respectful of our home. They put everything back exactly where it belonged and never complained about some our heavy furniture(recliners). Getting new carpet and tiles in your home is a pain, and a LOT of work but it ended up less chaotic as I thought it was going to be. I really believe that it had everything to do with choosing Carpets4U. And lastly, the finishing touch, the painters(Arturo &?) that painted the baseboards, they painted our new baseboards with care and precision without a smudge using Dunn Edwards quality paint. For any future painting job, I highly recommend them and will surely use them again. Oh, my goodness, I LOVE this company, these people! They are so highly rated, they probably don't need any more 5 star reviews, but I just had to chime in as well. They just installed Luxury vinyl (LVP) and carpet in our newly renovated townhome and we could NOT be happier with the results! It's absolutely beautiful with perfect craftsmanship. They did the job within their promised timeline perfectly, and the price point was better than all the places I have purchased flooring before. Not only do the end results exceed our expectations, the process of working with C4U was a delight every step of the way. Margie was so helpful and not pushy, helping me make an educated choice. When Gary came to measure, he immediately felt like a friend. I know a 5 star rating means perfection and I don't take my review lightly but this is what is deserved. We worked with Linda, Gary and their amazing staff on a complete custom total home project. We bought a 5,900 sq ft. new home and did all of our upgrades with Carpets 4 U instead of the builder. Our project involved demo and install. Linda was amazing in her design talents and also seeing my vision and not making it her own. She is so knowledgeable about materials and how they need to be installed. Her attention to detail is spot on. Especially in a remodel situation. Our project was very high end with a lot of detail. Everything turned out to perfection. We used material ranging from carpet and wood to stone and porcelain tiles to the finest mosaics. It has been a year since completion and I waited to write my review to see how things are holding up. The quality of installation is over the top. We have not had any cracking or shifting. Everything is still perfect. When I saw the installers working at our job I was so impressed with the their professionalism and their work. Gary always came by to check on everything. I worked with Gary at Carpets 4 U on remodeling two bathrooms in my home. From start to finish, my experience with Gary and the installers was nothing but excellent and 5 stars. When I needed to redo my kitchen and both bathrooms I had nothing but an amazing experience with this carpet company. Not only were they very responsive but had great customer service. I needed to carpet only 1 room and another carpet shop actually whispered to me to try this place. That's a good sign when your competition respects you. Prior to searching for a carpet shop, I did the usual home depot walk through and was told if I wanted anything of quality I was going have to pay at least $750 for a 20 x 10 room. So glad I walked out of there and into Carpets-4-U. A true lesson on weeding out the middle men like a Home Depot. When I told them what I needed, they said, for a job that small you should just use a remnant from another job we did. Now of course this limits your choices a bit but they did have quite a few different carpets to choose from. All very high grade stuff to pick from, I found something that worked. Total price $400. OK how much to install? No $400 for everything padding and install included. Ok home depot said 2 weeks until they can install it. How about you guys? We can do it tomorrow morning. "I'll take it" came out of my mouth in about 2 seconds. So there you go. They arrived on time and only took about 30 minutes to install it. The guys in the show room were very nice and interesting to talk too. Too often you get "salesman" talk, where they ask you questions about yourself and pretend they are interested. These guys were very genuine and funny. Including a fake argument between them about who was going to take commission on this job." It turns out that they are long time friends and it shows in the relaxed atmosphere here. Looking around the showroom, I would say they have a large selection of quality stuff. If you want a Disney Princess carpet to go in your daughters room, you can select 5 different styles in 6 different colors. It looks like most of what they sell is in stock, since the showroom is attached to a large warehouse. They also do tile and wood flooring. Cabinets, Kitchen and Bathroom design, etc... This is most definitely the place you should go and browse around before starting a job. And if you need a cheap carpet for just one room? Go see what "leftovers" they have in stock. Maybe you'll get lucky like I did and get something real nice for a small price. read more

Incredible people, incredible service, and incredible carpet! After 20 years from the first time we bought and had carpet installed from C4U we went back to see if their prices and service were the same as before. We were not disappointed. Breanna, Margie and Linda did a great job setting us up with the right carpet in the show room, then the owner Dennis (which is extremely professional and a great guy) came out to our house to measure and assess upstairs, stair case, and other repair work and prep that needed to be done before installations, and then we were given a quick turn around time to move forward. They were very competitive with the overall cost from others that we got quotes from including Home Depot (you get what you pay for) which for us included screwing nails all throughout he upstairs flooring to reduce years of squeaking, and repairing some broken floor plywood in one of the rooms. By the way, Home Depot would not do the repairs or move some of the heavy furniture that we needed to do the job. When the day that was set to do the installation arrived the crew was on time and ready to work! They were very professional, responsive and a pleasure to have in my house. After 2 days now from completion, I can truly say the job was done right, the upstairs walking noise is gone, the carpet is high quality and looks incredible! FYI-I was not asked, paid, given a perk, or threatened ...to give this review. The older lady answering the calls here isn't the best reflection of this company. I asked her for an approximate quote for mid grade carpet for a bedroom and hallway totaling 175 sq feet. She told me my question was "evasive", which makes no sense because I gave her all the details of our carpet needs. She then lectured me about all the different factors that go into the quote, and that she's been doing this for years..."I don't know what you do for a living, but when you're in the business, you start figuring it out pretty quickly." We visited a number of flooring stores in search of new carpet for our renovation and, based on my wife's research, decided to pay Carpets 4 U a visit. We met with Dennis, who really nailed what type of carpet we were looking for. Carpets 4 U has a pretty large warehouse with a good selection, so the fact that Dennis was able to find us the type of carpet we wanted (within our budget) was really appreciated. At the other stores that we visited, we never felt that the salespeople really "got" what we were looking for (or maybe they did not care enough). A few weeks (or maybe a month or so later), Gary came to our house, measured our floors, and provided us with a better idea of how much everything would cost. We scheduled the installation but had to reschedule a number of times due to delays from our contractor. Each and every time, Carpets 4 U accommodated our delays. On the day of installation, a crew of 2 or 3 guys came by the house (on time) and completed the job (again, on time). The carpets look great, and we could not be more happy with Carpets 4 U's service. Also, note that Carpets 4 U will provide you with the 8-lb pad as part of their standard price, whereas some stores like to sell it to you as a "free upgrade" to make it appear as if you're getting a better deal.
