Save your money and save your time. Do not waste it on this company. It has been miserable to try and cancel my internet. I just wanted it to work. I even gave them a second chance. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice- well I should have trusted me gut. The support is so slow. I reported them to the BBB because they sent me a modem knowing that they wouldn't be able to service that modem and then continue to charge me $99 every month for it. Don't. Do. It. read more

Lies, lies and more lies. They don't have a phone number that they answer which should be your first clue. I had to do a lot of threatening after over a year of promises and lies and shotty next to nothing service. They blocked me on FB so I couldn't warn others. Check BBB. They will tell you they are sending new equiptment while they charge you for working internet while you have completely dead service. You will wait weeks for your new equiptment only for them to tell you covid blah blah blah. I told them to give me back money for the month when they were supposed to be sending new equipt and they said not until I was up and running again. Are you serious? You won't send me my new router yours is a paperweight and keep charging me...NO. I drew the line. I sent back the equiptment and then they told me they were going to keep charging me. I said no you aren't, it's your label, it has insurance and it has tracking. NOT MY PROBLEM AFTER IT LEFT MY HANDS!. I was spamming their fb and thats the only reason they finally gave me back my money, then they blocked me. The other issue, no notice and rate increase when basically they are just piggy backing off of other companies towers. BEWARE THESE CROOKS. If you want your money back go to BBB and report them and also threaten to stop payment. cancel service with them no matter what they tell you. Do not let them sweet talk you into staying with lies. read more

Our nomad internet service worked pretty good for living out in rural Ohio for about 9 months. Then one day out of no where it stopped working. It is nearly impossible to get a hold of customer service since the only communication they have available is chat on their website and email (which is pretty difficult when you don't have internet...). After a month and a half of no internet service and going back and forth with customer service of them telling us they're working on a solution and then weeks of them saying they're sending us a new router and SIM card, we gave up. They even charged me for the month that I did not have service after I told them I wanted to cancel and blocked them from charging my card. My bank told me they tried multiple times to charge me and were successful. Now if only they were as ambitious about getting us our service back as they were about charging us for a service we didn't have. Not to mention they had recently upped their price. Nomad is a scam - they do not own the SIM cards but are just a middle man company. Internet will work decently and then will just stopii out of nowhere and you'll be strung along so that they can continue charging you. just say NO to Nomad. read more

On 12/8/22 they shut off our internet forcing us to buy a $500 router to continue to have service. After receiving the router they changed our billing amount without notice, no longer honoring previous plans. I have requested to return router and cancel service, they will not help via email threatening me that I will be billed until I speak to someone on their cancellation line, I have left multiple messages and even contacted owner via twitter like they said to do, no one will help. Stay away from this company, it's bad!!!! read more

This company is a scam! STAY AWAY! I could write an essay on why but I'll save us both the trouble. Internet worked for a month then stopped working. Ordered new router and Sim and it literally worked for 24 hours then stopped as well. Sent back Both and canceled service and they still charged me for another month after knowing I'd canceled and they'd confirmed the equipment return. They are illegally charging canceled accounts and their customer service says they'll "get back to you about a refund" but never do. Stay away. Plus it's $200 to setup and $130-$150 a month. Not worth it and doesn't work. read more

Pretty bad internet, service and expensive for what you get. Bad customer service. Device stopped working. They wanted a picture of the device and chip. No response after I sent it. Wound up quitting after 3 months and sent it all back. An expensive failure. Lots of promises no follow through. I do not recommend read more

We have been without internet now for an ENTIRE WEEK and we have had only 1 response from NOMAD. They asked for a picture of our SIM card and Router info but after I sent that, WE HAVE HAD ZERO, ZERO, ZERO contact from them! We got the message after I tried to chat with them on their website about being in contact "with a human" DAYS ago, but nothing so far! We can't even get them to respond on the CHAT!!!! It's utterly ridiculous and horrible service! This has not been the first time that we have had issues with our service, and so far this is certainly a repeat of how they responded to our first time of experiencing no internet for days at a time! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERY TIME! read more

I cannot find the words to describe how terrible this company is. Here is my experience with them... you can come up with your own words. I bought their plan because I live in a rural area with few other options for internet service. The first modem they sent worked fine. The service was expensive ($149/mo.) but it worked... until it didn't. One day, I woke up to no internet service. Turns out, Nomad stopped supporting the modem they sent me. There was no notice. I had to email them to find that out. They were apologetic (I later started getting emails that made me realize that I was not alone... apparently many of their customers got the same treatment.) But they said they had a new plan that was faster and cheaper... all I had to do was buy a new modem. So I did and signed up for their new plan ($99/mo). The only shipping option was 2-day shipping for $25. I was without Internet service, so j didn't really mind the faster shipping. A full week later (!) the new modem shows up. (I emailed them a few times wondering where it was and only got a response the day before it showed up.) So I hook it up, activate the SIM card... and it doesn't connect. I emailed their support center (no way to call them and they won't call you... I asked them to repeatedly). The support center sent me the same instructions that didn't work before. I emailed again. They sent me a link to an FAQ site that didn't have my issue listed. I continued to email them begging for help. I never got any help. They did send me the same instructions again, though, when I emailed their billing department to cancel my service. That was two days ago. I've been emailing and calling their cancelation phone number every day... zero response. But I got an email asking me how their service was (WTF?). I responded with the lowest rating available (a mad frowny face) and commented that the real question was WHERE was their service. Still no response to anything I asked. I am now emailing every address I can find for them asking that they cancel my service and tell me how to return the modem and provide a refund for it all... I'm still within the 7-day trial period, but they appear to be planning to wait that out. I am left to conclude that this whole company is a scam. At best, they are horrendously incompetent... but surely to goodness even incompetent people could cancel and refund. read more

Worst customer service, hit or miss internet, and way overpriced. They don't allow you to bring your own modem and you can't get good speeds on their cheap provided LTE modems. I have contacted them three times with no response, cant find anyone that will respond to my emails or IMs on social media. All around mess, AVOID AT ALL COST! read more

Their number is a non working number. There isn't an alternative number to call. You have to send a message through their website and they do not respond. We pay $149 per mo and have no service and no help. read more

DO NOT sign up with Nomad Internet We signed up for Nomad over a year ago, and have had spotty service ever since. We've had three new modems, and was without service for six weeks last March. They charged us two "service fees" of $249 and $199, with no explanation and continued requests get ignored (other than the "Thank you for contacting us. Someone will be with you shortly"). They began charging more money with no notice, to which I requested a refund, no response. I cancelled their service in June 2021 and they continue to charge me. We cancelled the credit card we had on file with them and lo and behold, Chase let them through even though we told Chase that Nomad Internet was the reason we had to cancel the card. We have asked for a refund of each month they have charged us (4 months at $149.00), they refunded two months. They have no phone number to call (it's a message about because of COVID they can't talk on the phone. Wait, what? you can't get COVID through the phone btw). They only deal with email, and I continue to get the same responses and same questions each time I send them an email to quit charging me. At this point, they owe us well over $900. read more

Nomad internet has the worst customer service bar none. You can't speak to a live individual, only online chat or email. Our internet stopped working and it took almost a month for them to decide they didn't know why and send out replacement equipment. They still charged me full price for service for that month. The next month they charged me double for service and said I had two accounts and will not refund my money. read more

NOTE - I gave this 1 star because I had to choose something. DO NOT use this service. The service worked great until they decided to do a network upgrade (with no notification) in the middle of the day. Who upgrades a network in the middle of the day? After numerous back and forth emails it is determined a new SIM card is in order. Ultimately I'm down for 3 weeks. 3 weeks to get a new SIM card? Seriously? New card arrives and works for exactly 30 minutes. After much back and forth it is determined I need a new router, which takes another 2 weeks. For 2 months everything is working fine until a regional cell outage happens. Not Nomad's fault but again after much back and forth I have to wait 3 weeks to get a new SIM card. New card arrives and works for exactly 30 minutes. I should not have to beg someone to provide a service I am paying for. read more

I signed up in May. I have been through two routers, one completely unstable and one (currently) completely locked up. I am not in week 6 of my Nomad Internet Hostage Crisis. No one will help me. They keep shuffling from person to person, who then reads from the script asking me to do the things I have already done multiple times. They dont even consult the extensive history about my issues. Now they wont even respond at all. These guys are just AWFUL. You are better off with a 3MB DSL. Slow but at least it is on. read more

My internet has been down for over 36 hours. Can't reach anybody at the offices and they even state that they are not answering calls from customers due to the BS Covid. We have had problems almost since day one, how can you run a business and never speak with your customers. So after reading all the reviews I now understand that I'm screwed and I will never get my internet back working. These people should be run out of business. I'm putting a lock on my credit card on file to stop future charges. What a disgrace Nomad is.. read more

You can not call them only chat! They said they would hav me a tech call me and they never did. Very expensive and won't even run my Alexa.

I've used this internet service for a couple of years now, yesterday, I switched, and I will NEVER look back. These people do not have a support phone number, their pricing is, uhhh, so ridiculous, even more so given the fact that T-Mobile is now offering hot spots, and home internet which is blazing fast in comparison to Nomad and greater than half the price that Nomad offers for the worse service. Over the years I've used Nomad, about every six months, either the equipment dies, or the SIM card gets blocked by the carrier. Since there is no support phone number, the only way to resolve his matter is via email or their ill-faded chat. These folks became even more popular due to covid, now with competition on the front, my BEST advice is to seek out service elsewhere, such as T-Mobile, you'll save a ton of money, with outstanding speed delivered by a company that has a support phone number available and they actually answer. Thanks Nomad for years of service, which was real and great, just not really great any more since others are offering faster speeds at sometime over half the price of the Nomad service. read more

What a joke!! Your service hasn't work for me for a year. I return one of the boxes yet the new one still doesn't work. They continue to charge me for both after a year of this. Their customers service is a joke. Won't return calls. Yet keep charging for me two times. read more

Poor customer service. Only can be contacted by email. No way of telling them their internet is down and out again. Refunded half the amount paid. Customer service ends chat when asked how do I contact when the only way is thru email, how do we let them know it's down. STAY AWAY!!! I would rate this lower if I could. I started my terrible ride with nomad with ordering a router that was battery powered and T-Mobile. the router that showed up was not battery powered and was very cheap. I did get 2 weeks of service out of it. this was in October. When it stopped working, it would never connect to the internet even while I was in different cities and my T-Mobile phone connected with full bars, I went to the service department. After some slow back and forth the service department could not figure out why it was not working and blamed it on area of service even as I explained my phone getting service and being in cities. so I was forced to switch over to the Verizon service. While I was working with the company they charged me for another month of service even though I was never able to connect. In December I received the Verizon router which would connect to the network but required some sort of Verizon account to login so still would not work. I contacted the service department again, while still getting charged for a service that did not work. Again back and forth was slow ending with the service department telling me to wait for an email from the billing department to get it fixed. I was finally over it when I was charged again in January for the non working service for more money than my original agreement. Over all I just donated money to a company that never worked their end of the agreement. Over 450 dollars wasted storing broken routers in my van. Please be careful using this company read more

Do not do business with this company!!! Nomad is an absolute scam. Their customer service is awful, you cannot talk to someone on the phone. Chat is the only communication and it's always someone different. I wish had seen these reviews before signing up. My service only worked for 3 weeks before it completely stopped. They told me to wait 48 hours for technical support. After 48 hours they said to wait another 24 hours. Finally after arguing with someone on chat for an hour they agreed to send me a new router in 3-4 days. It did not come for 6 days. The new router did not work either. It took them 3 hours to respond to chat, and told me to wait another 48 hours for tech support. I am canceling the service today. read more

We have never had decent signal. Trying to get tech support is rediculously impossible as you can't speak to anyone. Everything is thru chat or email. If you want to spend a fortune for nonexistent internet, Nomad is the perfect choice. Oh and btw all of our pages redirect to Visible by Verizon! read more

I have been trying to get my internet to work now for almost a year. Paid $850, got a sim card, it worked but the speed was less than the old dial up modems. After about 10 emails back and forth, and 4 months later, I got a new SIM card, it worked better but still not fast. Then they cancelled my account and now say I have to buy a new plan to get a new sim card. Every time I email, I get a different person that returns my email; they don't know or don't look at my past correspondence and have no idea what I am talking about. Wasted $850 here. Will not do this again. read more

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I had a lot of problems with my set up. Keep getting different people and they could/would not give me a simple answer to a simple question. It took weeks to get a usable connection. Also I do not get invoiced in a timely manner. I have to email them when I notice that I don't have service and ask them to send me an invoice. Finally, today when I asked for my invoice they they sent it about 1/2 hour later with the link to my account. Kinda normal but they had already debited my card. I am not signed up for automatic billing. I think the whole bunch are incompetent. Additionally even with a cell repeater in my house my download speeds only average between 1 to 3 MBPS. I signed up for StarLink and will be so glad when it comes on-line later this summer. With all that said it is currently the only way for me to get a usable albeit slow internet connection. up-date10/12/2021 Was kind of normal service for a couple of months, However they double billed me today. I paid one invoice and they debited my checking account for the second invoice. I emailed them to fix this and as of 12:45 have not got a reply. I wish I could give them 0 stars read more

The only reason I am giving a 1 is because that's the only way I can write this review. This company is the absolute worst!!! Run!!!' The service is terrible you Cant get in touch with anyone they respond days later to emails and they won't reimburse for not having service. Run fast!!! read more

The funniest scam going around with this from Unregistered company is they're putting in prepaid unlimited mobile plans that sooner or later get Internet capped anyways for Internet use, but what people don't understand is LTE routers are 5-10 times stronger with signal than their cell phones so do yourself a favor go out and buy yourself a prepaid unlimited calling plan buy yourself a Wi-Fi LTE router and you're done, unless you want to get scammed with this company read more

I WISH I COULD GIVE "0" STARS!!! I ordered the Nomad Air 3 months ago for my van. I have gotten a complete run around. I called again and was told it would be sent out in a couple of days; nothing!! I called several times and left voicemails; never got a call back. Sent emails and more phone calls and was guaranteed that I would have the device by the 6/13, the day before my trip; you guessed it, nothing!!!!!! I now am leaving on a six week trip with two 12 year old boys and no internet!! I had said over and over that if they couldn't get the device to me just give me a refund so that I could find another provider. I have been with Nomad Internet several months now. I have had some difficulties with the router and SIM card they sent me. This time I worked with Ryan Peterson (who BTW is awesome!) and he sent me a completely new router system within 24 hours overnight. I had been down for 9 days and he also saw that I got credit for those days. My fingers are crossed that this system is better and will run all my devices as well as stream TV shows. Time will tell. The only reason I did not give a 5 star review is because I've had too much trouble and always had to chat with someone about it. Also, I want to see how good this new system works before I further review. read more
