Finding a knowledgeable mechanic is important. Finding an efficient mechanic is also impt. But when you find one who is all that and honest they are priceless! There is NO ONE else I would trust my vehicles to then Joe and his guys. He has never steered me wrong, or replaced something that wasn't necessary. And always he has charged a fair price and worked within my schedule. Highly highly recommend Joe and the boys! read more

recommend Nolan's with deep enthusiasm and sincerity. I've looked for years for something that's very rare and hard to find--an honest auto shop with fair prices. This is Nolan's auto. When I drop off my car and never worry that they are going to screw me over. On top of the trust, they are also smart and nice. I dread the day Nolan and Angelo retire leave Fullerton. Go to Nolan's while you can. I give them my highest recommendation. read more

Finding a go-to auto mechanic you know you can trust isn't easy. I grew up in the same smallish town with Joe Nolan, and he's the real deal. Everything you'd ever hope for in honesty and integrity. He really is looking out for your best interests- not his own. He's been in business forever. I wish I could speak more about the nitty gritty of the work he does...all I know is, he makes cars go, for a VERY fair price. My highest recommendation! read more

I had my car into the dealer and was told I needed new brakes ASAP, that I only had 3mm left. Took my car into Nolan's to have the work done but asked Joe to just check my brakes out first. He was honest enough to tell me that I still had 4 to 5mm left and I didn't need new brakes for at least another 5,000 miles. I'm so happy to find an honest mechanic. I will definitely go back to him for my auto services in the future. read more

I was looking for a repair shop to fix my A/C. I got a recommendation for this place and after reading all the reviews here, I thought I would give it a try. Joe the owner is a great and honest guy. Very polite. Service was fast and price was right on. I will now be bringing all my vehicles here. Tip: there is parking behind the shop, you just need to go through the gate on the side. read more

It was finally great to find a shop that I knew wasn't going to rip me off. Joe and his team did a complete brake job for us, and we couldn't be happier! When I found out my battery was dying, I asked my husband to take my car to Nolan's Auto Services. Even though they were very busy, Angelo made time to replace my battery. I now am able to go to work tomorrow. Thank you, Joe and Angelo for always being there when we need you. We would not take our vehicles anywhere else! read more

Joe is an honest and professional guy. I really liked him and will be traveling the distance if I need more work to be done on my car.

I needed a new honest mechanic & found this place through several recommendations on Nextdoor.com. My daughter's car was making a noise and they discovered that the lug nuts on one wheel were not completely on and some were stripped and needed to be replaced. Apparently, when she last had her brakes fixed, the last place didn't replace the wheel correctly. How dangerous is that?! The mechanic was super nice (sorry she didn't get his name) and even took the time to show my daughter what he was talking about so she could understand; they also charged her a great price! If she would've taken her car anywhere else, I don't doubt they would have said it was something major and charged her an arm and a leg. I am super happy I told my daughter to go to Nolan's & ecstatic that we have a new mechanic that I look forward to using in the future and will happily refer to others. Thank you Nolan's Auto Services! read more

I come here a lot to get my car fixed and I really like the service here, it's pretty fast. Me and my family trust this place to get reliable good service and we have been coming here for years. It better to come early in the morning because it can get busy later in the day. I think right when they open is the best time. It's a little confusing to find it but you can come in through S Woods Street to park in the back. read more

Joe Nolan is the best mechanic I've ever been to. He's also completely honest and trustworthy- highly recommended!

I've been meaning to review Nolan's for the couple months it's been since my visit. Id been to 4 different mechanics in the previous 4 months trying to keep my little car running. First off, it wasn't that hard to find (which of you know that part of Fullerton, it can be difficult to locate a business on that road). It didn't look like an auto repair from the street because the bays are in the back. Small front office. Next, the customer service was outstanding. They really listened to what I was having trouble with and worked with my budget to fix my 10 year old car's issues in order of priority. They kept me posted throughout the different repairs, and did the job(s) under estimate. Not by much but it's worth noting. They even showed me problems created by a previous repair done at another place, and advised me that, while loud, the noise I was hearing going over speed-bumps wasn't going to cause any damage or make driving unsafe, so I could put it off. Bottom line, super honest, super service, skilled technicians and no pressure. I wont go anyplace else now, and I send everybody I can to them. It's worth getting to know Nolan's. read more

The only place I go to repair my truck. Wonderful trustworthy staff, & fair prices. My entire family has been going here for years, & it's the only place I've never had a complaint about. My dad has even been through training to be a mechanic (just doesn't enjoy that line of work), so he knows good and reliable work on vehicles when he sees it. I tried going to the dealership across the street once w/ a FREE synthetic oil coupon, but after a 2 hr wait they said would be 45 mins, they used PARTIAL synthetic because they forgot I said I ONLY use FULL synthetic. Plus they refused to let me wait by my car too. I like to see what they're doing and make sure they're not messing up my car. But at Nolan's I don't feel the need to after they have done a great job of earning and keeping my trust. Needless to say, I will never try another mechanic again. read more

I have been going to Joe for years with my daily drivers and even with a couple projects I've worked on. Very trustworthy and will tell you straight out what the problem is or isn't. Very reliable and always finds a way to help you out with your repair. read more

I have been taking my car to Nolan's for several years now. I always get a quick and fair estimate. They are willing to work with me to find the lowest price (sometimes quality used parts are available, for example), and get the work done quickly for me. Also, I am always treated politely and respectfully. I never feel like I am being patronized or taken advantage of because of being a woman. read more

Really 8 hours labor to take out a dash are you inexperienced or just trying to inflate your prices because you think I'm an easy mark. I wouldn't trust you with any repair after that conversation! read more

I've taken my cars to Nolan's for about 10yrs. They're always courteous, prompt, trustworthy and dependable.

I had asked my friend Paris D who his auto mechanic was and referred me to Nolan's. I originally called to get a quote for water pump & timing belt service. He was really great and gave me a couple options and answered all my questions. Well, few weeks later my water pump started leaking. I dropped it off at Nolan's so he could take a look. He called me later that day and stated I did need a new pump and also gave me different options for the timing belt as well. He didn't make me fell like I needed to hurry and make a decision right away. He let me talk it out and told me the parts I absolutely needed. I'm very happy with the service. My 4Runner runs great for having almost 200,000 miles on it and it didn't drain my bank account... read more

Joe at Nolans Auto Service is as good as they get. Last year I had to find a new mechanic so I did what we all do, I asked my friends on Facebook who they would recommend. The one name that kept coming up was Joe at Nolans. I am so glad I found Joe. Finding a mechanic you can trust these days can be tough. I know when I call Joe to tell him I have a problem I can count on him to find the problem and fix it. I recently totaled my work truck, Joe and his mechanic Angelo both took the time to talk to me about used cars I was finding. They have gone above and beyond in trying to help me. Finding a business like Nolans is rare. Customer service above and beyond. read more

Joe and I have a mutual friend, so it was obvious I would take my vehicle to Joe Nolan at Nolan's Auto Services after being recommended to his auto shop. So far he has worked on mine and my mother's vehicles; he performs prompt, courteous, and fair work in a timely manner with respect to the customer. It goes without saying, but he is now my go-to mechanic for automotive needs and maintenance. I highly recommend Nolan's Auto Services for vehicle needs and wants. read more

Joe has been repairing my family's vehicles for a number of years now and I can't say enough about what a great job he does. I used to take my car to the dealership and twice they had no clue what was wrong but charged me $700 for a repair which wasn't the problem. I then took my car to Joe and he knew immediately that it was the starter. He is very reasonable and honest! read more

I only have my cars serviced by Nolan's Auto. The work is great and prices have always been fare. This week in an emergency I took my RV to Joe because I had the AC go out. Joe dropped what he was doing to save my family a hot drive to Arizona and back. I know he stayed late to finish the other work he had. This is the only kind of business I would recommend. read more
