Went with a group and everyone else had great things to say about their entrees. The crab Rangoon I ordered as an appetizer was also really good. Unfortunately, my Pad Thai was bland and flat. It tasted more like leftovers I'd microwaved than a fresh dish. Our server was warm and friendly, though it was a little odd when they asked if we needed plates for our three appetizers instead of just bringing them. Overall, it's a solid spot. If I lived in the area (just here on a family vacation), I'd probably check out another Thai place before coming back. read more

Cute little restaurant! They seated us out on the covered patio, which was awesome because our littles could run around and not disturb anyone. For appetizers we ordered crab Rangoon's and potstickers, both were delicious!!!! The crab Rangoon's have real crab inside, the dipping sauces for both were tasty as well. For main dishes we had seafood Pannang curry, chicken green curry, and Phad chicken over rice with a deep fried egg on top, all out of this world! So good, so fresh. We loved everything we ate. Made a pit stop here for dinner. The salad rolls were decent, by itself very plain and no flavor. However, they warmed up their peanut sauce and it was amazing. Very delicious! I ordered their pumpkin curry with chicken which came with pumpkins, bell peppers, thai basil and chicken. There was a lot of curry and toppings in it. The food is subpar. No spice. Soggy. Tastes like weird, bland bbq sauce. Also the coconut shrimp is 6 tiny salad shrimp with soggy, sparse coconut coating. We will never return. The entire order was disappointing. We also ordered the "crispy" sweet and sour. Soggy and terrible. The Pad Prik Khing was soggy also. No spice. No flavor. From the highway and the parking lot, you would easily choose to pass on this place. But upon walking in, you take in the wonderful aromas and the welcoming attention of the crew. The ambiance is simple, but the menu is comprehensive...all the standards, and local flare. The ordering was quick, and the food quickly followed. Nice sized portions. And very well-presented. And the flavor? Man, was that good. I went with my standard, Pad Thai, and I was not disappointed. It ranked up there with my favorite spots in the Portland area (I know, I not a worldly traveler). Even my wife enjoyed her food. While we were eating, the owner stopped by to check on us. And, after we were finished, he stopped by to chat for a couple minutes. Another telling factor that we found the right place...foot traffic. We saw at least ten orders go out the door to carry out dinners. What a cool little spot. We stopped in after a long and rainy autumn day. We were greeted and seated right away. The room is small but cozy. They have a beautiful little garden out front with a koi pond. We found all of our favorites available. Tom Kha soup, Pad prik king, and Pad Kee Mao whhich is what we ordered. Everything was flavored well and cooked perfectly. The vegetables were done perfectly, the tofu had a nice crisp flavorful edge on it. The Thai iced tea had sweet coconut milk on top. This is my new favorite spot to come get Thai food who would have thought in a small town like this you can find such quality. I for one was pleasantly surprised. read more

I started coming here for the salad rolls back when Noi's was a food cart. Now that it's a restaurant I've been enjoying many more items off the menu. Today I had the Pad Se Ew and it was fresh and flavorful. Last visit I tried the Panang Peanut Curry - delicious! Other favorites so far include Pad Garlic (very garlicky and tons of veggies) and Spicy Basil. (Be careful if your order that last one extra spicy!) After doing some research and communication I ventured out and tried a restaurant for the second time, but first time in their new location. I wanted Thai food again and I had to make sure not to instigate my food allergies, and I found a place in St. Helens that makes a dish that is 100% safe for my allergies. Noi's Thai Kitchen makes a dish called Chicken Larb (ground chicken in Thai Basil lime dressing, onion, carrot, cilantro, and mint, served with cucumber and lettuce). I tell you what this is some damn fine eating. I went to their location, walked in, and placed my order (minding the current COVID requirements), and was very excited to try this new dish (first time I have had Larb). With each bite, you were given a salty, minty, earthy, sweet, tangy, with an array of vibrant greens, yellows, whites, off-white, and orange. The aroma was zesty from the onion, sweet from the cucumber and carrots, earthy from the lettuce, anise from the Thai Basil, minty, and grainy/grassy from the rice. So far, I have yet to take a bit, and I'm quite excited about my choice for lunch. I peel a piece of lettuce, tear a couple of mint leaves and place them into the lettuce, then scooped a spoonful of the Larb and placed it in the lettuce (think about making a taco at this point). Topped it off with a scoop of rice, folded the lettuce, and took my first bite. Holy cow, shut the front door. Had I not been sitting down, I would have crumpled at the knees. The textures kept my taste buds happy, my brain engaged. Crunchy from the carrots and onions, moist, fibrous from the lettuce, and each bite had an amazing snap from the fresh lettuce. First serving down, had to try another. Made it the same way as the first one, and again, the explosion of textures, but this time I was able to focus on the flavor. Tell you what, the flavor is not lacking in this dish. With each bite, you were given a salty, minty, earthy, sweet, tangy, and fresh flavor profile. Chewing the food, your taste buds experienced all the flavors, and the dish presented itself on all zones (tip, sides, mid, back) of your tongue. The dish can easily feed two people, I couldn't stop eating it until I noticed I had consumed a dish meant for two. Had to loosen the notch on my belt if you know what I mean. This was my first time having a Larb dish, and I could not have picked a better place for such an experience. Oh, where is Noi's you ask? I tried this restaurant because it was recommended. I was very disappointed what came to my table looked like it came out of a big pot with a small handful of peanuts in the corner of the plate and a sprinkle of bamboo shoots in another corner (square plate) no flavor what so ever it was orange like it had curry in it but I doubt it so sauces were on the table not even salt and pepper, nor was anything offered they didn't even offer to refill my water glass. I was very happy with this place. The food was excellent. We got the Cashew Nut Chicken, the Kra Re Shrimp, and the Beef Chow Mein. The only slightly negative thing I could say about the food was that the Chow Mein seemed to be cooked in a teriyaki sauce that tasted bottled. It was still very good. It just didn't taste like a home recipe or anything. The service was super fast and polite. We went in on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. It is a tad annoying to get to as there are train tracks right between it and the main highway. You have to take a round about way. read more
