This place is your typical casino restaurant. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Prices are decent, portions are generous. The service was actually really good here. Our server checked on us often and made sure we were well taken care of. We ordered breakfast. We had biscuits and gravy, pancakes and a croissant sandwich. By first mistake was ordering at closing time, the second was not checking it first but it was bagged and tied in a knot. unfortunately this is not the first time we have gotten less than appealing take out but I thought maybe they had their improved in the past year. the meat did not even resemble turkey breast as it was hard and seem to be fried. Turkey breast should be moist and soft. I don't have a picture of all the potatoes and bread under it because I had already thrown it out before I decided to take a picture of the turkey and post this.The pancakes I ordered to go were fine, but it is hard to mess up pancakes. Goldsfield is now called Noh-O Cafe. About 5 mins after we sat, order was taken. 30 mins after, we had to ask a busboy to get our water because our waitress was flitting around helping other tables and did not even bother to bring us any. 40 mins after we sat down, one plate of food was delivered. After another ten minutes, my sister finally asked a host to check on the rest of the food, which she relayed to our waitress. Ten mins later, the food came out. Salmon was overcooked due to being thrown under the broiler, probably to warm it up. When asked why our food took so long, waitress replied that the kitchen was running behind. How can that be when all the other tables who came after us got their food first? We are nice people who hate confrontation and don't ask for much but this is unacceptable behavior. One star for getting our food out, but that's about it. The waitress never once came to check on us once our order was taken. Didn't ask us if we needed anything until the complaint was given. The comfort food type dining option located inside Chukchansi Casino. I've been here a few times and the food is always pretty good. It's filling and tasty and there are a good variety of options available from breakfast to burgers to diner style dinners. The decor is cute and comfortable and it's not too loud. I've never had to wait for a table. This time we came around 5:30 in a Friday evening. The hostess was extremely pleasant; a little more so than our server who also seemed to disappear on break about half way through our service as another waiter picked up at the end. Service here has always been slightly lacking and slower so nothing new. I'd make the hostess a waitress as she definitely has the most helpful and hospitable personality we encountered. I got the turkey club with fries and my husband got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and broccolini. We also got a chicken quessidilla as they were out of mac and cheese bites. Everything was tasty and the portions were large. The fries here are delicious so definitely get them. They are battered and crispy and perfect. My sandwich was deliciously messy and fresh and my husbands food was a heart, generous and comforting option. I would come here again as it's a good option if you don't want Asian (noodle bar) or to pay out the wahoo (steak house) when you're at the casino. If you make it here for lunch or dinner. Make sure you are hungry as they serve large portions of food. Large plating, and spare no room for a half belly. However prices reflect the plating. But that is not to fret. The service was seamless. Everything was fluid from sitting down to leaving as far as restaurant etiquette. We were seated and served. This is a hotel casino restaurant themed to the old wild west. Fireplace, country style western seating, laminate tabletops, wood grain and string tied look. Wood chairs with pattern weaved seatin. The walls were littered with artifacts of the wild west and pictures. The theme was great and very detailed. Now for the food. Tasty and fresh. Ordered the Ranch salad with a side of ranch. Needed a littke seasoning so the pepper was on the table. Wish it had more, but it needed to be light due to demands from a world who complains. Nonetheless. It was huge. Delicious. And we left full and happy. It was satisfactory and gratifying to see such details put forth in the look and service. This is not hotel food. This is really a good restaurant inside a casino. Being that I have been here several times before the closing and I am now writing my review after my visit since the re-opening of the casino. I must say the food has gotten better. The wait for food was a little long after this visit especially for it being almost 10pm. The fries are great they have a crunchy batter texture on the outside. The tri-tip was not smokey like it claimed and was a little fatty. Coleslaw was good and the veggie burger was good, I was told. Prices are good too and you get 10% or more off your meal with your players card, depending which level card you have. The menu is comparable to something like (Black Bear Diner) with a American diner influence serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes there is a line to wait depending on how busy the casino is. The restaurant has plenty of seating so if you did have to wait for a table it should not be to long. I have never had any issues with the food or the service, I would continue to eat here. read more

$6.99 prime rib dinner!!! 8 oz portion w mashed potatoes and a veggie. That's all I need to say. =) The prime rib was nicely medium and the au jus had nice peppery beefy flavor. Ordered the carrot cake which was a double portion. HUGE. My friend had the penne in cream vodka sauce and she said it was really good. It looked a little too saucy, but I like sauce =) We also had breakfast. I had the enchilada omelette which was fine, but had too many olives. So if you LIKE olives, this is your dish. If you don't, dont forget to ask to leave it out bc there was a good 1/3 cup of them in my omelette. The service here is pretty good. It really depends on who you get though. Most of the time they have the best service in the world and sometimes they just miss the mark. The food used to be really good here, but now its okay. I've tried most of the food there and they are good. I would not get he salad because its basic salad that you can just make at home. Everything else is decent. I normally get the VALLEY CLUB, but that might be too plain for a lot of people because it literally is just a toasted bacon turkey sandwich. I would recommend picking an Entrée unless you want something basic then pick a sandwich. I never have tried their VANILLA ICE CREAM Whipped cream and Fresh Berries because they always for get that I ordered it so I just gave up ordering it. It really does not fail when I order it. This place was very convenient because it was inside the casino and it opened late. It was also closest to my hotel room. I wanted a late night meal around 9 so I decided to try this place. Lol it doesn't seem late but I try really hard to not eat after 7. But there's no such thing as dieting when you're on vacation! - Garlic lemon 1/2 chicken with a side of salad & some fries: $17. It's pretty expensive but the meat was pretty tender. I was pleasantly surprised. The salad went well with the chicken. - cup of chicken noodle soup: this soup was good but on the saltier side. Overall this place isn't bad and there always seem to be a line, even though I always see at least 5 tables open. I guess if they're understaffed it makes it less stressful on the cooks and server to help less people at a time. read more

First of all I want to say that we have been here before and had a nice time but today was a horrible experience. So first of all we get there and tell us it's going to be a 25 minute wait. Which a 25 minute wait is fine, so we started to wait for our table. But it was a 45 minute wait. Then my mom gets up and ask the waiter how much longer the wait should be and the waiter had a horrible attitude. She responds (very rudely) "I was going to seat you right now". So then we finally get our table. Finally when we got our meals another 20-30 minutes later, they got my order wrong. They made me a grilled cheese and I hate grilled cheese and I asked for a burger. We stayed at the resort for a few days and got food from here several times. Not impressed. I got this strawberry salad with blue cheese and nuts and romaine to go one night and when i opened the box when i got back to my room i realized they had drenched my entire salad in dressing and it was completely saturated. We had the chicken wings, sub par. The carrots and celery they give you looked and tasted like they had been sitting in water for weeks. The chicken noodle soup has 0 taste and wayyyyy too much shredded chicken. The half a sandwich that came with my soup was awful. The bread was hard as a rock and it was seriously someone's old deli meat and wilted lettuce. Service was slow and the waitress wasn't attentive at all. Once she gave us our drinks she never asked us if we wanted a refill. This casinos restaurants are mediocre and overpriced at best. No thank you! read more

I enjoyed this place. After getting sick from it about two years ago I decided to go back. Pretty sure they have stepped up their game. My family and I mostly got breakfast dishes at 2pm haha. My brother got the chicken fried steak, my dad got the prime rib sandwich, my dads girlfriend had the Dry Creek because she's vegetarian (three eggs, potatoes and toast), my other brother had the flat iron steak and he polished it off. I had the "Nugget" which is pancakes, bacon and eggs but I substituted the eggs for potatoes which were slightly undercooked. They still had a good taste and the pancakes were excellent; fluffy, tasty, buttery, sweet goodness. Judging by how much my family ate, and with no complaints, they enjoyed their meals too. 4 star service, it was kind of slow but there were five of us, the waitress was very attentive and very friendly! Last time we came here was later in the day and the other waitress was younger and seemed to not want anything to do with us...it was quite the opposite this time and we were all pleased. It was almost funny how involved she was but it was sweet :) I recommend this place earlier in the day when the staff isn't so overwhelmed. The other restaurants at the casino are usually sub-par to just ok, but I will be back to Goldfields. read more

Had some artichoke dip left after all of the chips were gone, so when the waitress was asked to bring more chips, she gladly obliged. Good variety on the menu, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, steaks/prime rib, chicken and fish. Had the pastrami sandwich, very large w/ lots of fries. Had some a cup of clam chowder which was surprisingly good. Service for our big crowd was pretty good. It exceeded my expectations - the steak, eggs, hash browns, coffee were all excellent - and very nicely priced. The rest of the clan ordered the normal breakfast faire and that too was great. We decided to eat breakfast here before we headed out on the road. We were properly greeted and was informed that there would be a wait. We were told that it would be a 10 minute wait. Sadly, that 10 minute wait turned out to be another a 30 minute wait. Once we were seated, we were unlucky enough to be seated in an area with two large parties. Luckily everyone knew what they wanted to the waitress was able to put our order in with the larger party. I decided to go against the the rest of the group and not get breakfast, so I decided to try the chili verde off of the signature menu. That was a mistake. I've never had rice spanish rice that was clumpy and beans that were under cooked. The chili verde sauce was good but extremely salty. The meat wasn't cubed pork, but rather a mix of ground pork. I was very sad while everyone else at the table had a hearty breakfast meal. Someone ordered the t-bone steak breakfast. That was a huge meal. A t-bone steak, hash browns, 2 eggs, and a side of biscuits and gravy. The french toast looked really good too. It was 4 pieces of french toast, with 3 eggs, and a mountain a bacon. I guess it's my fault for trying to be different, but I'd stick to the breakfast or the sandwiches. Those all looked a lot better than my dish. read more
