A recent update. I've once again seen M&R staff throwing their trash behind our property. This…read moreincludes plastic water bottles. I've posted a photo in this review update... Also yesterday, for no reason, they cut a small tree down behind our house, that we planted there four years ago. M&R were not authorized to do this. They will now need to replace that tree they removed or reimburse us for the cost. At the same time, they refuse to remove burned trees on association property, left over from a brush fire in 2006. The way they "manage" the slopes surrounding our property is by weed-wacking the entire slope, all the way down to the ground. Then rather than raking up and dispose of the weeds, they just leave the debris on the hillside, so that it seeds the hill with more weeds. It also leaves dead weed material surrounding our house to blow around during Santa Ana winds and to become fuel for fires. I frequently have had to go behind our house to remove tumbleweeds and other debris, which they should've removed. That is after-all what they are being paid for. Sadly, I cannot recommend M&R to anyone, but especially not for large developments or HOA's.

Miguel and MAP Landscaping took out $9000 of trees on a corner of our property. When our landscape…read morelighting was not working after he left, we asked our regular gardener and he said that wires had been cut and lighting and wires were thrown aside when we had the trees removed by Miguel. We had to pay to have it reconnected. MAP Landscaping also broke a pipe under the ground and did not tell us. Water had been gushing out until our regular gardener discovered it. When I brought it to Miguel's attention he came over and capped it. He didn't repair what his crew broke, he just put a cap on it and left. I am now having it fixed and will have to go to small claims court to get our money back for the repairs. I would for sure use a different, honest and caring company. I am sad that I feel the need to write this. The owner,…read moreMatt is very nice and easy to talk with, actually all of the employees are easy to talk with and nice people. We hired 805 Drip to install a particular kind of sprinkler which he said that he had experience in doing. He unfortunately left us with sprinklers that don't work and we paid our bill in full. He didn't install a drip line to the veggie garden and mail box garden like we asked and instead installed a sprinkler line to an area where we had mentioned we wanted a sprinkler line in about 5 years. So he mis-understood where we wanted items and instead of clarifying it he chose to fully install it. I cannot recommend him due to now having no working sprinklers and having no line to the areas we asked for lines to be installed. We had to personally re-dig up the yard and found that 1 line where the electrical was not hooked up right. We also had to re-dig up about 70 ft to install the drip line to the garden bed that he forgot. He did apologize for not being able to get our sprinklers to work, so there is a care factor from him... but either way I feel like I have flushed $4k down the toilet and it leaves me sad and frustrated. I have honestly kind of lost faith in contractors now. It's possible other people have good experiences with him on easier projects as he is nice in general and communicates well when he decided not to show up or was late. Oh yeah, they rolled up our grass for too long and now (three months later) we still have dead patches of grass and dirt all throughout our lawns. :( The grass was also left very uneven with tripping hazards throughout our lawns and now I can't run on it with out dogs as I am afraid to trip or hurt myself in a soil "pocket".
