I highly recommend finding another company to do your work.This guy is a piece of work. Takes advantage of elderly. He did a job for a relative . He is Highway Robbery. The woman needed 5 steps done & a 2' block wall to level the yard with a basic railing. He quotes her $8,000.00. Witch seamed way to high to me. I checked other company's they all said he totally screwed her and price was outrages. To top it off. The guy gets job 2/3 done. Then he tells her he screwed up. And adds another $4,000.00 on top of the $8,000 total of $12,000.00 for 5 steps and a cinder block wall. Again I checked with more company's . Everyone's response was he totally screwed her bad. And the fact he added another $4,000 on top of it was insane. She is on social security only. Her son and husband have passed away. No life insurance nothing. The fact that he took advantage of a widow who is elderly living social security check to check. Shows what kind of crook he is . Also there is brick that came off. She calls to get it fixed and wall finished. Nothing. It's been several months nothing . He doesn't even send one of his guys to take care of it. "DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY ANY BUSINESS AT ALL. People like this running shady dishonest business taking advantage women and the elderly should not be in business at all. THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS AND OWES THIS WOMAN A LOT OF MONEY!! It really pisses me off there are people so f€#ked up the do this to people and have a clear conscious. I don't go around making waves but this is really f-up to do to a widow barley getting by on her social security. And doesn't even fix his work. What really pisses me off is the fact he was almost done and said I'm sorry I screwed up it will be another $4000.00 on top of the $8,000 he told he it would be. (AGAIN SEVERAL COMPANIES TOLD ME 8,000 was way to much for what he did. And then to put another $4,000 on top of it? ) this guy needs to find another line of work. Kaster (the owner) made a lot of promises when he was trying to get the job. Sadly, he failed on the follow-through to do the job well. I hired Kaster to pour a concrete sidewalk and lay flagstone veneer on the walkway. kaster was quite challenging to work with and argued when I said I wasn't comfortable With what he was doing. It wasn't what We agreed in the contract. In the middle of the job he try and d me hoge for more money to complete the job. He said the stone was no longer available locally and would now cost more than he 'd originally Quoted. I made some calls to the stoneyard in Thousand Oaks as well as in the San Fernando Valley... they said that the stone was available and at the original price. Days after completion of the job, more than a dozen large flagstone steps became loose. Kaster denied that it was faulty workmanship. He argued that I must've chipped the stone out With a screwdriver. (WTH???) He eventually took care of it.... But once again the same stones became detached as they did the first time. Kaster did the repairs grudgingly. Since then, I've had have another company come come to do the job properly. To top it off... kaster "accidentally " put my tools into their truck when left the house. I called him to ask for my tools back... He denied taking the tools...Said he was offended . Then there was Perma Green a company owned by Kaster with deep family roots in the soft/hardscape landscaping business who takes pride in being professional, honest, good materials, itemizing fair prices and delivering excellent customer service from design to picking out plants/shrubs/rock/DG.
