He's responsive over text, which we appreciated. He wasn't on site most days himself, but his crew did solid work and were friendly guys. They happened to be working through a heat wave, and it was grueling, but they always seemed to be in great spirits. The project did take longer than expected, and we had to follow up and check in at times to keep things moving. They're clearly in demand. One important lesson is to use proper contractor despite the price on your home. We had Wonderworks redo a lot of the landscaping work that had been botched by previous contractors. They were perfect for the most part except for some instance of miscommunication where a team was sent out to start a job before we had even agreed on the details. Other than that, they've done DG, drainage, and a retaining wall for us and everything was done properly. They dug deep enough for the DG, they built the retaining wall with proper support and drainage and the drainage they installed at the side of the house completely solved a problem I had with water pooling. Look forward to working with them again to do a paver driveway.

They did such a hack job that two of the trees became infested with some kind of insect that killed them, and they also killed three others. They were total butchers. He gave me honest recommendations on his lack of evidence for disease process or pest invasion and made recommendations while saying the tree may not ultimately survive this period of high stress. He advised not to trim the tree mid summer while in this condition and gave me his card to call him in the winter when the tree is dormant to see what course of trimming action, if any, we can take once the tree is properly fed and watered over this period.
