Bob Loft does a great job and I find him to be an honest business man. His crew cleans up well and they do quality work.

Bob is awesome! I told him up front that all I needed was an opinion on how to trim a young and very sentimental (to me) apple tree, and that I didn't want to waste too much of his time. Hoping but not expecting too much, I was so happy when he called me back and said he would stop by to give me his opinion. It's such a great sign of good character and a good business when a professional will take time to help out in such a way. It was of no benefit to him, but it meant everything to me! Thank you, Bob. God bless you and your business!! read more

I have used this company for several years. Bob and his crew always do a great job trimming my trees and clean up well when they are finished. read more

Bob is very knowledge about the tree and the habits. Wheather you're having tree trimmed or removed Bob Loft is the one to do it.

One year later, our neighbors had several trees to get trimmed. Some of them are exotic fruit trees, so not just anyone could do the job -- correctly. We reached out to Bob Loft, a certified arborist, who clearly knows his craft. The cost estimate was very fair, and my elderly neighbors were elated with the mastery and speed that the crew worked. Bob, himself, was right there directing and pruning the numerous trees. Afterwards, Bob called to offer a couple workers to come by and dispose of some other trimming that I did to help my neighbors -- work that was not a part of the job. This was a class act and made it so that my neighbors and I had less clean up to do on our own. read more

Excellent, excellent work. I have some pretty large oak trees (three) and need some heavy duty trimming every few years. Plus, I had a couple of tall birch trees that were damaged in the last winter rainstorm. Called Bob and his crew came over and removed everything promptly. Bob and his crew are prompt, reliable, courteous and leave everything in spotless condition. I've used him for years and will continue to in the future. read more

Bob and his team are professional, responsive and understand how to do the job right. They work fast but they are also meticulous. Bob has been back to our house three times over the past three years. The first time he took out several trees that were overgrown and now he comes annually to trim/cut & maintain our large trees before the windy/fire season. I would highly recommend. As a super bonus he knows his trees and is a certified arborist. read more

Another great experience with Bob Loft! We called him out to manage a giant unruly ficus in our backyard and his team did a quick and thorough job. Also, Bob is just such a nice guy. I highly recommend him if you're looking for an arborist. read more

Bob Loft is reliable, friendly, prompt, and reasonably priced. He always returned my calls immediately, showed up on time both for the quote and for the job, and did great work on our trees. read more

We have had Bob Loft and his crew maintain the trees at two homes over 20 years now and we we will not use anyone else, especially after this last experience a week or so ago. We purchased a home with a beautiful, established elm tree in the back yard, albeit one that was a bit overgrown. We had Bob out a year ago and he actually declined the work, letting us know that we didn't need to have the work done then... This year, we both agreed it was time to trim and the aesthetic care an artistic treatment Bob and his crew performed on the elm tree are spectacular... The tree is now shapely, has air space for light and the birds can now easily alight amidst its branches... The palm trees got a nice haircut and the sycamore tree in front got pulled back tastefully from the neighbor's airspace. The crew got to our place right on time and were done and completely cleaned up, chipped and gone in about 3 hours, with precision.. They even moved our yard statuary and decorations to avoid damaging them... This kind of old-school care and professionalism is why Bob Loft is the only arborist/tree trimmer we'll use... The other neighbors have used fly-by-night hack crews that come in and "top" the trees for a rock-bottom price, but their trees look like butchered stumps and frequently don't look good even after they have a year or two to regenerate... With Bob & his crew, your trees look good and healthy from the moment they leave your property... Plus, Bob will tell you some genuinely funny (and CLEAN) jokes while he's on the job with his crew... Five stars all the way, for over 25 years.... Thanks Bob! You are the best.... read more

Bob Loft is such a nice person and a very knowledgeable professional. I called because I had a sick tree in my front yard, and he showed up just a few hours later to check it out. I was so thankful to find a certified arborist to tell me what to do. Very reasonable, too!!!! I called Bob because he trimmed my neighbors trees and did an amazing job. So happy that I did! read more

I have not had Bob or his team out to trim any trees... yet. But I will. Bob was referred to me by another tree company as Bob was the 'expert' and certified arborist. I asked Bob if he could come out and evaluate some trees. He said he would be happy to set something up. But then he spent 10 minutes on the phone with me asking and answering questions about my trees. The call ended with him telling me what I needed to do and if that didn't help to give him a call back. I told him I would, and that I would call him back when I was ready to have the trees trimmed. Not very often you come across a company or person with they kind of integrity. He could have come out, made some money with a service fee or consultation but instead was just a good and helpful human being. I will be using them in the future. -Joel read more

We had such a great experience with Bob! We recently purchased a new home and it was very overgrown and had several trees that were problematic to the foundation. Bob did a thorough walk through of the property and identified the trees for us, and gave his recommendation on what to do with them. There were several that we thought would need to be removed, but he advised to just trim them up. Once hired, his team was quick, efficient, and were all very friendly. Bob and his team all work hard and with attention to detail and with care. We will absolutely use Bob in the future to keep our new trees in shape! read more

We had Bob and his team out to our house to remove two trees, including stumps and roots so i could replant a new tree in the same spot. His team of 7 showed up promptly and got to work. I've never seen anybody get so much done so quickly. In 1.5 hours they said they were done and packed up. I expressed my concern that there was no way they could have removed all the roots so quickly and since my intent was to replant in the same spot I asked him if I would have a problem with the remaining roots of my 25 yr old tree. He said my gardener shouldn't have a problem but if he does Bob will come back. Well sure enough my gardener came the following day and said all the roots are remaining and it would cost $350 to dig them out. I called Bob to let him know and the following week his crew came back out spent another 45 min grinding down the roots. Based on the amount I paid I expected them to spend some time digging out the roots so I could plant a new tree as the grinder only goes down about a foot. read more

Honest, knowledgable, reliable, efficient, and reasonable pricing. THANK YOU BOB LOFT!!!!

When I called Bob, he called me back the same day (Friday) and called me today to say his guys had time to do the job today. I was happy to be able to get it all done so quickly. I called him to trim my mulberry trees, and pines, and he really knows his business. He told me to just clean out the canopy of the mulberry trees occasionally, as cutting them back really makes them grow. On the other hand the pines need trimming every two to three years to encourage them to stay healthy and not get too tall. I've done business with Bob for many years. The last time he was here was 7 years ago, and did a great job then. He and his guys were in and out in a couple of hours, and did a great job again. read more

I'm so glad I used Bob Loft tree trimmer for my tree trimming. He's a licensed, insured, bonded arborist who did a fantastic job on my house and my son's house. Very professional and courteous. Was quick to return phone calls, and showed up on-time to get the job done. I love that he's a certified arborist. Very knowledgeable. Not just Chop N Go! This was a pretty small job, but will definitely use Bob for the upcoming big job! read more

We cannot rate Bob Loft's work because he never showed up. Not a way to handle a business. We asked our neighbors for other recommendations & mention Bob Loft, they were treated the same way. We went with another tree service who was prompt on returning calls & keeping appointments. Courtesy counts. read more

Very knowledgeable arborist. Very happy with his work and crew cleaned up area nicely.

Bob is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He and his crew trimmed my 100 year old olive tree turning it into a work of art! He was fast, reliable and perfect. Wish we had more trees for him to trim! read more

We had Bob and his team come in and take out five mid size trees and grind out the stumps. They were very professional and very fast. Much faster than I would have anticipated. Probably would have been a most of a day process for me and my father to do it. It didn't take his team much time at all. The had everything cleaned up before they left. Bob took the time to walk around and discuss other trees that may need help. I would recommend Bob and would certainly call to use him again. Thank you, Bob. read more

I did not have a positive experience. Bob quickly returned my phone call and gave me an estimate. Really high for the work, so we scaled things back. Crew of four arrived (around 8:30) and worked very quickly with their chain saws to trim and "remove" the trees and shrubs (left at 2:30ish). Then things went south. They hit an auxiliary gas line - it wasn't well placed or marked, so I don't fault them for that. But, we shut off the gas and they wanted to leave very quickly. Bob said, "we're not doing any more work here and we just want to get paid (for the two days they were there - $4k). I paid, even though it was clear they were not going to finish. That is when I started to notice issues. They cut through my sprinkler system in 6 places! And I discovered that they merely cut trees and shrubs to the ground, but left all the roots in almost half of the job. I decided not to call them back to remove the roots. I worked with another company who was amazing - polite, clean and actually did all that was promised for almost half Bob's rates. read more

Bob came by to give us an estimate, and realized that the job that we needed done was larger than his crew could handle. Nevertheless, he spent time helping us figure out what an appropriate strategy would be to deal with our tree situation before he left. My favorite tree in my yard needed trimming and I was very particular about how I wanted it trimmed. I had a few different companies come out but right when Bob looked at the tree he was the only one able to explain exactly which branches had to go, he had the most knowledge of the type of tree and best price. He came with a crew of guys that were very methodical and knew exactly what to do. They also cleaned up the yard and disposed of all the branches. The tree came out looking awesome!! I would highly recommend Bob and his team. I was impressed. read more

Bob was super quick to respond to my call and he checked out my sad/dying tree the very same day. He tried to find a way to save it, but in the end, it was a goner. He came the very next day with his crew to remove the tree and was in and out of there really quick and left everything looking as it had before they came (minus the tree). Very impressed and would use him again. read more

Professional, friendly, and fast. I had him pull 10 trees out of my yard for a good price. Using him again soon.

Bob Loft and his crew did a really great job removing a 50 year old ash tree from our property and trimming an overgrown mulberry. The crew was fast and never made me nervous like some of the other companies we have used. The guy in the tree always had fall protection and was in complete control. This was a huge tree less than 4 ft from our house. Bob is a really nice guy, he will work with you, and his prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended. http://www.bobloftthetreetrimmer.com/ read more

Bob and his crew are great. He showed up with 5 other guys at 7:30 they were done by 8:00 and it looks great!

I met with Bob on Tuesday after work and we reviewed a bunch of work. He had a crew of four guys over there the next day and they took care of it. We had him reshape significantly an large Indian Laurel (Ficus microcarpa), completely remove a 25' Carrotwood (Cupaniopsis anacardioides), prune aggressively an Australian Willow (Geijera parviflora), and trim back three Alders. They did exactly the work we discussed, and I had some pretty specific requests on my beloved Indian Laurel. Very professional and cleaned up the site well. Cost seemed very fair. Would definitely use again. read more

Bob's crew arrived on time, worked fast, and cleaned up. Unfortunately they fell a large tree limb on the edge of the pool. Aware of the damage Bob promised to get it repaired.
