My dwarf Little Gem Magnolia tree from Nature's Best!

Saul was great! He's very knowledgeable and his prices are almost half of other local nurseries. I would definitely go back but recommend calling first to make sure he hasn't needed to close for some reason since he's the sole proprietor and occasionally has to close for short periods. He was very accommodating to hold my purchases for pickup by landscaper at a later time.

Saul and his wife Mirabel are two of the most knowledgeable human beings when it comes to all things plant-related. Not only are they incredibly kind...but they will answer any questions you might have about your pre-existing plants or plants you are looking to buy. They specialize in CA native, drought-resistant, and butterfly attractor plants. I have learned so much from these two over the last few years and I can't wait for the rest of the world to discover this gem of a nursery!

This place is like going to a botanical garden where you can actually take the plants home with you. It's lush and beautiful. They had some of the healthiest lavender I've ever seen and we keep going back for more plants because they have hands down the best prices in the area and the man who works (maybe owns?) the place is so sweet and helpful. Super knowledgeable about his plants and he even adopted a rescue dog that hangs out in the little building and I just love that he did that. What a great life for a dog.

I've been coming here for the past few years and have found no better place that I enjoy buying plants from. The owner, Saul, is very knowledgable and patiently answers all my questions on the variety of plants, not to mention his pricing is the best I've seen around. There are tons of plants, succulents and cacti to choose from. I've brought my neice with me several times and she loves running around picking and choosing our new plants. I've spent some time chit chatting with Saul's wife Maribel and overall they are just amazing people! Large variety, great service, and best pricing, you cant go wrong here.

Cool nursery out in the boondocks of Camarillo. I love that because I've never been out that way and it was a beautiful day! They were the only places after endless searching for a pure white beaugonvilla that my mother was tracking down. The price was great! Also, my other favorite part was their sweet garden cat who followed is around while we looked! We'd love to come by again!

we came here yesterday & had such a nice time! the weather was perfect and the owner Saul was so sweet & walked us around showing us everything we were looking for. reviews are right & prices are very reasonable. we got a beautiful pomegranate tree and a few other plants (milkweed, fire coral, snapdragons & a small succulent) for $130 will be going back when we have a truck to get a few more things, birds of paradise & gorgeous weeping bottlebrush (they do not have citrus trees though so will have to look elsewhere for them if that's what you're looking for)

All this for $115 with tax!

They did everything from a paver-stone patio, new irrigation and sod, removing and re-locating existing trees and plants, adding lights, and even retrofitting and setting up an old fountain of ours that had been used as a planter. I can't say enough about Andres and his crew, they were hard working, professional and had great ideas for improving our design. Lastly, Laurie came in and helped with the grand design of our planting scheme. With her knowledge of plants, she made the most of our existing plants and then added her touch with additional planting that turned our backyard into a wonderland. We love our new backyard and are so happy we chose Sterling Gardens Nursery to do the job.

After we went to the latter with only partial success, DH suggested going to Sterling. He'd been there before, while I had only wanted to visit but had never stopped in. It's beautifully laid out. Though it's a nursery, selling all manner of trees and other plants, it's arranged to feel like you're visiting a designed garden. Once we drove into the heart of the property I was somewhat confused on where to stop and park. DH remarked that they had done some major rearranging since he'd last been there, so he wasn't sure where to direct me to go. We found a spot that wasn't blocking any of their driveways, then got out to take a look around. We weren't seeing any succulents, nor any employees to ask. I was soaking up the beautiful surroundings when one of the staff offered to help. He said that they don't sell smaller succulents, only one and five gallon pots. That's not going to work for us at this stage, so we thanked him and moved on to another stop. I would plan to return when looking for larger landscaping needs.
