My only minor complaint was the alignment on a few of the doors. I think the assembly team could have done a little better. That said, our contractor had them aligned in a few minutes. The 6 way hinges make it very easy to adjust.

Instead of writing a review I am just going to paste the email I wrote. Bottom line - worst place…read moreever! Because of the horrible service Premium Cabinets has provided I have been without a kitchen for six months. This has not been a minor inconvenience. I cook and eat healthy and have had to eat out for six months. Every single thing that could possibly go wrong did and was not taken care of in a satisfactory manor. Maurice's response to my apology for a blunt email. Paraphrasing... "It's ok, I don't take anything personal". i.e. I don't care. I don't take my work or your satisfaction seriously. He proved true to his word. 1. 33" sink base that should have been standard 36" stated plainly on the quote/invoice. I won't even get into the other measurement issues that had to be compensated for by the installer (where he was able). This delayed the cabinet installer and counter top installer forcing them to reschedule their work. This inconvenienced and cost every one including me money. I live in far South Austin and my installer had to make an additional trip way up North to pick up the 36" when it came in which I had to pay for and I was charged an additional payment of $530.81 for the 36" screw up and took over a month to get. You guys should have delivered the cabinet and eaten all this cost. Instead you bill me additional money for the cabinet and make me pick it up! 2. Two drawers are missing and I am having to pay my cabinet guy to build them, rails and all which I had to find and buy! Update: Maurice finally materialized the drawers - wrong size and no rails and an additional charge of $135.31 - you should have eaten this cost too. Maurice basically threw them in my lap and said figure it out. I had to cut the drawers and rebuild them myself! For some reason he was unable to provide me with rails or the company where I could purchase the rails. I asked him repeatedly for the company where I could buy the rails. Mind you I had already paid for all the cabinets and drawers in full and no rails! Over the course of two weeks in my "spare time" I searched and called until finally finding the company on my own. For future reference so you know where to get your own rails the company is DAKOTA Premium Hardwoods and Millworks in South Austin. Then spend another day installing them myself! 3. The Lazy Susans were missing and had to be brought out and installed - and argued about whether I ordered or paid for them when they are clearly on the invoice. 4. Four of the doors put on backwards and had to be reversed by my cabinet guy. This cost me money for the cabinet guy to fix. 5. There are still shelves missing. Maurice said he would get them to me. It's been six weeks - not a single word. I don't expect to hear anything. I think you guys should have eaten the profit on this job. In my mind you owe me for pain and suffering and if I had the time and money I would sue you. This entire job was so badly botched there are not words to describe it. Please go out of business. Please! I'll be sharing my feelings about your company so that hopefully no one else should ever have to experience what I did.

I had them build custom cabinets and a very large stained maple work surface for my home office. I was able to detail and refine the design via email (during COVID) and I was glad they were able to get into the details and have as much clarified as possible. I had a good idea what I wanted but needed to know what final points I had to think through. It was a long while to get done due to their backlog and COVID resource rework, but after the 4 hour install of everything, it looks and functions perfectly. The craftmanship is fantastic and their design choice guidance was really helpful along the way. I would highly recommend them for any important project in your home. Tracy was a pleasure to work with and I absolutely trust his commitment to quality for any project.

There was a safety issue and also it needed a "custom" touch so that furniture could be moved up and down stairs in a very tight spot. I was so thrilled at how the banister came out that I hired them to make a custom "Dutch" front door for me based on lots of pictures I'd obtained from Etsy and Pinterest. I shopped all over for a door like this and the standard Home Depot version was the only one I could find and I didn't like it. Peglars designed the most amazing door including all my "wish list" items and incorporating specialty hardware I bought off Etsy. I absolutely LOVE my front door. It is so beautiful that I can't stop looking at it. I know all my neighbors are jealous.

I would really like to not give any stars at all & it is unfortunate that I have to write this…read morereview. We met David in October through a friend who was having custom cabinets built by him. David later came to our house, heard our ideas & gave his recommendations. So the process started & things were going great at first. We would get updated pictures, we selected our cabinet color & he worked with the guy who was installing our granite. During the process of our cabinets getting built, he mentioned he could build a custom entertainment center & would have everything completed including the cabinets before the holidays. I stressed that we were having family come in & that this would be somewhat of a reveal of our new house. Right before Thanksgiving our cabinets were delivered & installed as well as as unfinished entertainment center. At this time we paid in full over $7,000. David said he would have the entertainment center completed by the following week. He mentioned he was having trouble with fitting the doors. This is when things started going downhill. Weeks passed & we still hadn't received our doors for our entertainment center. Christmas came & went & David wouldn't answer or return our calls or texts. Weeks turned into months & finally April 3rd David's employees (NOT DAVID) showed up to install the doors. The only communication we received from David that day was a rude text message that I needed to back away from his employees & let them do their job but yet his employees were holding friendly conversations with me while they were here. It was very cowardly that he didn't show up to compete the job himself & then when I finally hear from him..it's a rude text message I receive. The cabinet doors ended up not being flush with the entertainment center & they needed adjustments. I informed David of this & also mentioned to him that we still needed molding done to the vent hood. His response was that he didn't build our cabinet that the vent hood was placed in! We were outraged! Later he said he did build the cabinet & that he would see what he could do. Again...no response as weeks have gone by about our doors. We ended up contacting his wife to see if she could figure out the situation but given the fact this guy has been a real A-hole I doubt anything she told him made a difference. They both have now blocked our phone numbers & have not tried even once to contact us. We tried numerous times to contact them to have everything finished so we could finally get passed all the mess. It is absolutely ridiculous that after 7 long months we are still here with unfinished projects! We are not the type of people to bash anyone but this was by far the worst service we have ever received! This has taught us to not pay ahead of time--wait until the job is complete or else snakes like David will run with your money & never answer another call. The communication with this guy has been poor & his employees shouldn't be doing the talking for him. I would never refer anyone to David! Save your hard earned money for a real business man! We decided to go with MP Drywall & Remodeling base on the great reviews and reasonable estimate. As well, we could tell Mark's crew, Anton, was professional and skilled. As nature of construction jobs, there were A LOT of details. Although we tried to be thoroughly about every detail, there were still a few things we missed and misunderstood. Mark was able to help us over the things we missed or misunderstood and he was great at communications. Most of the time, Mark always got back to us in timely manner and we could be worry free about getting in touch with him. All his crews were working diligently. Our old patio was demolished in 2-3 days and they took care of the debris well, especially compared to our past experienced from other contractors. We have experienced many contractors always very good at talking and promising on the quality of their works. Only Mark and Anton were the real deal for this matter. They didn't over talk, especially Anton. He normally didn't talk much, but worked diligently and showed his care and proud for the quality of his works. They used the quality materials and paid attentions in details and what we mentioned or commented. There was some delay, but you could tell Anton really wanted to get the jobs done as scheduled. We understood sometime things couldn't go as planed. Anyway, one person of his crew showed up before time every single day, really every single day! We have never experienced that with any other contractors. So far more than 2 times of remodeling our house, Mark and Antonio is the best working team we have ever experienced. We can't say that there wasn't any problems during their working, but when the problems occurred Mark would try his best to get the problems solved. Finally, our new screen room was done beautifully. Neighbors came over to take a look and we have got compliments for our new screen room. We learned to be even more thoroughly for our next project too. We didn't want to be a client who always added more things to get done after signed an estimate. Certainly, if we have a next project, we will call MP Drywall again. We recommend MP Drywall and Remodeling company to anyone. In short: MP Drywall and Remodeling are: - Great Communication and Responsively. - Reasonable Price, importantly with One year warranty! - Very High Responsibility. We could tell Anton really wanted his projects to finish as soon as he planed and as best as he could. - Skilled and Professional.
