Yosi excels in customer satisfaction, he always made sure I was happy with the results and he was always willing to help and solve problems when I was not satisfied. That to me was the most important thing. I provided the design and they made sure the result was better than the 3D renders! They recommended great suppliers which gave me good prices, and made it easy for me to buy materials and pick them up for me. The project took a bit longer than expected: 5 months, instead of 4 that was projected. Some of this was in part for material not arriving on time, but there were also some things that could have been sped up from his side too. Overall the result was fantastic: high quality with a lot of attention to detail, great customer service and communication, and like I said, customer satisfaction is their first priority.

Fahan Construction, quite simply, did an incredible job. That's the long and short of it. They…read moreimpressed, whether it was with the handling of inspections and inspectors, the transparency with financials, or the simply trade itself, John Shaw and his team were always on top of our renovation. Professional, respectful, and highly communicative, he was always there whenever we needed him, by text, phone, or in person, if we needed reassurance, advice or progress reports he always seemed to be right on the ball. It's hard to communicate just how important this is to keep the blood pressure down while undertaking something as life altering as a major home renovation, but we always felt Fahan had it under control. Our project was completed on schedule, 7 months to do a new kitchen, master bath, staircase installation, family room and deck, plus electrical and lots of small detail work around the house. Seven months is really something considering how easily big renovations like ours can go off the rails. Horror stories abound, and we, quite literally, had none. What a huge relief. In terms of costs, Fahan was transparent and upfront with us. They estimated and invoiced all expected and unexpected costs up front, and clearly stated any potential overruns. There were some, but none that we felt were from left field, and for each one we were given options to keep in line with what we were comfortable with. We understood and signed off on everything before anything moved forward, with a comforting degree of transparency. The only downside we could see was that the pricing tended to be high. It's not entirely clear however if this was due to the current economic conditions of '22-'23 or if it's just what quality work and workmanship costs. But as they say, you get what you pay for. Overall, we felt well-taken care of throughout the process, like there was an insider who knew the business, the pitfalls and the tricks. "I trust them", were words we uttered more than once. Most of the time we weren't even at the house, only catching up on the progress on weekends, but we always knew that the work would get done and with little to no issues along the way. THe house turned out amazing. We really couldn't be happier with the work they did. Fahan's just a quality outfit, contractors and subs, that you should trust with your house too. Just top-shelf all the way. Two thumbs up.

We hired Fahan for a number of projects at our home in the Outer Sunset of San Francisco: building a new deck, extending power and plumbing to the back yard, replacing our leaky roof, providing access to the new deck from our bedroom and a number of other misc projects inside our home. All of these projects were completed on time and with superb quality. John was incredibly friendly, professional and responsive throughout the whole process. He was extremely thorough: from working with the architect to co-ordinating with all the inspectors, to introducing us to all the members on his team and what we could expect from them on a regular basis. He managed the whole project effectively by providing us with timely quotes, invoices and being diligent about addressing any follow up questions we had. If there were any unforeseen issues with the weather or supply chain issues, John kept us informed and worked around each of these issues while keeping the project on time. Every single day, his team would show up on time and work diligently while keeping us posted if they needed anything. When we wanted something updated or changed, they obliged us immediately. What was particularly impressive is that they pulled off a number of different projects working across 3-4 different groups of people! I will definitely miss them around our home. And will reach out to them we need anything built or fixed moving forward.

If anyone has gone through an extensive remodel, you know how stressful it can be. We were fortunate to use Diviney for this fairly large project. Ivan, was so helpful in providing guidance in the decisions we needed to make, and was patient through it all - didn't feel rushed. He was very informative of all the options available to us, and when the work was finally done, it was better than what we expected. We did have an issue about 6 months later when it rained really hard - we found that our new redwood fence that we put up over the retaining wall, leaked and stained the cement. We also had a puddle on our patio that wasn't draining. So I called Ivan to see what could be done, and he wasted no time in making it right. Ivan is a perfectionist in what he does. If it's not perfect, he will make it right. I highly recommend Diviney Construction!

North Bay Construction has been my go-to general contractor for over a decade, and I recommend them…read morewithout hesitation for both major renovations and smaller repair work. ** Long-term projects and scope ** Over the last 10+ years, they have completed three large projects at my home, adding roughly 2,500 square feet of new space. This has included a two-story vaulted-ceiling entertainment room, a workout room, three bathrooms, a master bedroom, a home office, and an entirely new facade, all integrated seamlessly into the existing house. On top of that, they have handled more than a dozen smaller jobs for me, such as a half-bath remodel, a larger bathroom remodel, several leak repairs, and most recently an insulated storage area. ** Quality, follow-through, and fairness ** Their workmanship has been consistently high-quality, and just as important, they stand by everything they build. On the rare occasions when something was not quite right or needed adjustment, they returned and fixed it promptly with no pushback or debate. Their billing has always been fair and transparent, and they work efficiently without dragging projects out longer than necessary. ** Professionalism and neighbor relations ** North Bay Construction's team is professional, respectful, and easy to have on site over long periods of construction. They are polite and thoughtful with neighbors, which matters a lot when you are doing large additions that affect noise, access, and parking. I've seen them navigate those complex neighbor dynamics with patience and tact, helping keep relationships around us positive during disruptive phases of the work. ** Responsiveness and problem-solving ** One of the things I value most is how quickly they respond when something needs attention. If an urgent issue comes up on site, they are often able to come by within the hour to assess and address it. The team is smart, proactive, and willing to jump in rather than letting problems linger, which has given me a lot of confidence throughout each project. ** Overall recommendation ** After working with North Bay Construction on multiple major additions and many smaller projects over more than a decade, I trust them completely with my home. They combine strong craftsmanship, fair billing, excellent communication, and real accountability, and I plan to continue using them for any future renovations or repairs.

In contrast to other projects in our neighborhood that seemed to idle for periods of time, things moved forward at all times. If one part was delayed, Judit our wonderful project manager would move another piece up. Obviously with a project this scale there were challenges. Some things needed to be redone, etc. But, John was always such a professional in dealing with each item. We felt like he took accountability and worked with us the find a solution. Lastly, we'll say that many of his subs have worked with him for years and are true craftsmen. We are thrilled with how the project turned out and would work with John again in a heartbeat.

We were introduced to Everson by a mutual friend, and we were immediately struck by his knowledge, humility, and warmth. From the beginning, Everson's responsiveness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail stood out, and made him a great person to collaborate with. Before construction began, he provided critical insights into the impact of design decisions on construction timelines and overall budget, and his transparency and expertise helped us enter the construction phase well-prepared and set up for success.  Their commitment to transparency and true collaboration with the homeowner is notable, and made them stand out from other contractors that we considered for the project. We never felt pressured from their team to make a specific decision based on cost or timing, and instead found that they were trustworthy partners that would help us evaluate the options and make the decision most suited to our preferences and family. Everson's calm, level-headed demeanor was invaluable when inevitable unpleasant surprises arose (hello termite damage!), and his steadiness made tackling those challenges feel like a team sport instead of an individual battle. In addition to providing excellent project management throughout the project, my husband and I were particularly impressed by the high quality of the work that the Perez team completed. Everything from framing and drywall to tiling and fixture installation was completed with immense attention to the smallest of details and an eye towards perfection. Their network of subcontractors is excellent and we found everyone that they partnered with to bring the same level of professionalism, attention to detail, and high build quality that we came to realize was the norm for Perez Construction. The result of the high bar that they hold themselves to is a beautiful finish that can be enjoyed for years to come. We could not be more pleased with our decision to hire Perez Construction for our renovation, and recommend them highly. We would hire them again in a heartbeat and are grateful everyday that we get to enjoy the high quality of their work!
