If your looking for a great kosher deli, you need to check out this place. Their pastrami is so fatty and delicious it melts in your mouth! The prices can get high but you are definitely paying for the high quality meats

I know times are tough but the "hot" corned beef and hot pastrami could have been way hotter (temperature) and the service could have been more attentive, but haven't had a hot (well) warm corned beef in sometime and it was welcome. The Pastrami fries were a great add on. Dr Browns .

My cousin and I wanted some matzo ball soup so we went over to Noah's Ark for a fine Sunday Lunch. We were seated immediately; the restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside. The menu was also surprisingly expansive. However my cousin is a pescetarian and we found there weren't too many options for him. He opted for a tuna salad sandwich and I got the 1/3 pound pastrami. We both got matzo ball soup. My food was admittedly decent. We were served pickles and coleslaw along with our sandwiches. The pastrami was juicy and flavorful. The bread could've been better as it was kind of soggy. For $15 I was just a little unsatisfied with my sandwich. My cousin said his tuna salad sandwich was just okay and certainly not worth the $11 it cost. The matzo ball soup was pretty standard but I felt it was on the smaller side, especially for $6. The service was okay and the restaurant was passably clean. There were several flies hovering around our table so that was pretty annoying. If you couldn't tell from my prior statements I feel like this restaurant is pretty overpriced. I don't think I'd come back.

I found the place could be very expensive. Take coleslaw for example, they gave me half of a 1/2 pound container for $3, it cost .25 to make. At least fill up the container!

Took awhile to be seated. Only one waitress working and there was one lady that took her time with explaining what she wanted. Meanwhile I waited to be seated. I took that opportunity to check out the dessert case which had an assortment of tasty looking treats. After being seated a bowl of assorted pickles (which were all delicious & juicy) and a bowl of coleslaw was placed at the table while I browsed over the menu. Also a pitcher of ice water was also placed at the table. I order the pastrami on garlic bread and that was a bad choice on my end. I didn't care for the taste of garlic & pastrami. I won't order that kind of bread again with that type of meat. Atmosphere looks out dated and needs some sprucing up. I couldn't takes any flavor on the pastrami so I added the mustard which added a different taste. They have plenty of options. Best of luck with your experience.

    Any vegan option?

No it's a deli, but there's restaurant called veggie heaven right next to it.

Tables of young men, looks like a yeshiva (Orthodox Jewish school) must be nearby. I order shawarma platter: shawarma, several salads, fries. Spouse orders a shawarma sandwich. Salads are spot-on: sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, chickpeas, Israeli salad, red cabbage salad, guacamole. Each lovingly and perfectly prepared. Chicken shawarma is flavorful, could have been moister but no complaints. Service friendly and efficient. Value typical for Kosher, $44 for our meals & drinks. Would definitely recommend and return

It was a sweltering night and they immediately brought over a huge pitcher of water which was most appreciated. Ample street parking. Go for the great food and service. Staff is quick to attend and very kind to take accommodations and answer questions. The rolls were good, pretty close to shrimp honestly. The peanut plate was delicious. There was a sweet and savory taste to the meal, and everything was just so good. Everything on the plate mixed very well with each other and every bite was a delight. The beef looking plate was just as good in its own way. The chicken drumsticks are A FAVORITE!! Wow those are so delicious and crispy. The tea is always a delight to drink with the meals. Can't remember the other two meals, but they were all good. My party split them all four ways to try everything and it was delightful. I don't feel icky after eating so much, and the portions are huge. Waiter was very patient with my grandmother who 1) doesn't speak english 2) is diabetic so we had to find something safe for her to eat. 110% recommend this place to anyone. It's vegetarian/vegan only, but honestly the food was better than meals I've had with meat. Food felt good to eat, i didn't feel sick or overly full and heavy from it all. Pricing isn't so bad, considering the quality and quantity is very high.

I had in my mind a superior dining experience in Israel, a similar schnitzel-in-pita storefront in Hod HaSharon. There, because it's Israel, every aspect was superior: fresh, crispy, assortment of salads, and super fast. I was hoping for something similar here. Orange and chrome mid-century modern decor. Simple menu. Good service. Clean. Super impressed at first glance. I got schnitzel in pita, spouse got same in laffa bread, daughter got schawarma in laffa. All delicious and fresh. Service was friendly. It took a few minutes to get our order and they were not particularly busy, luckily we were not in a rush. Once the food came, it was worth the short wait! Bottom line: it's not Hod HaSharon, but pretty darn good for Teaneck! Would definitely return here! The only negative is that parking seems to be an issue. We visited this restaurant at 12 noon on a Sunday and it was impossible to park. I don't know where the people in all these cars were shopping, I sure didn't see a high amount of foot traffic. I have a feeling people just parked and left their cars, maybe attending an event elsewhere. So if you visit: plan time to park and walk!
