    Closes early...
    Juan E.

Came here about an hour and a half before they were supposed to close. To our surprise, they already closed part of the arcade and there were two major attractions that were closed down. The staff seem eager to close an hour and a half early before they were supposed to. Not only that, but there were several big arcade games that were not working or out of commission. how are you supposed to keep teenagers and families entertained when you're closing early and I only do that a large amount of your equipment isn't working correctly. CANNOT RECOMMEND

We enjoyed some much needed time with some friends on a mid-day Monday. Glad to experience the space without a huge crowd. Although my photos show zero to few people, there was a good number of adventure seekers/kids and onlookers/parents. My only discomfort was in the arcade due to the temperature jump. Unsure if it was the AC or lack of ventilation, however, it was noticeably warmer than the rest of the place.

When we booked my daughter's 7th birthday party at No Surrender Fresno, it sounded like a dream setup: kids could choose between the play area or laser tag, get a game card for the arcade, and enjoy an hour in a private party room. Plus, we were told we could bring a fruit and veggie tray (mom win!). It felt like the perfect combo of flexibility and fun. But then... reality checked in at the front door. First, we were told the kids couldn't go back and forth between play and arcade--only one could be done at a time. Not a huge deal, but definitely not what we were told when we booked (and re-confirmed more than once). We're here, the guests are here, so we go with it. Cool. Then, our party room changes from Room 1 to Room 3. Still rolling with it... Room 3 was decorated nicely, but it was tiny. We had 15 kids and a bunch of parents--there was barely enough room to breathe, let alone grab a slice of pizza. Luckily, there were a few seats outside the glass party room, so parents camped out there like it was a birthday tailgate. Trying to make things easier (and, you know, be a decent host), I brought out the fruit and veggie tray we were told we could bring. Not 30 seconds pass before our party hostess--doing her job, I know--tells us the tray has to go back into the room. Outside food can't be consumed outside the room. Ok, fine. Back in it goes. Now it's cake time. My sister-in-law made a custom cake that looked amazing and tasted even better. I bring a slice to a guest sitting right outside the party room. Again, we're told: cake has to go back. I had reached my limit. So, like any New Yorker who's trying to keep it classy, I asked the hostess, "How big does your tip have to be to not see a slice of cake?" She smiled and replied, "I'm just following the rules. My manager enforces them." Sigh. So I speak to the manager, who kindly but firmly tells me: rules are rules. If they make an exception for me, they'd have to do it for everyone. I wanted to tell her that customer experience is the best marketing, but honestly, I was drained and didn't want to give another unpaid business seminar. I spent the last 15 minutes of the party sitting outside the glass, writing this review. So here's the bottom line: The kids had fun. The room looked cute. The pizza was good. BUT... Be ready for rigid rules that don't prioritize guest experience. Don't expect flexibility, even when it makes sense. If you have guests outside the party room, they may not be allowed to eat what you brought or even the cake. Would I book here again? Honestly, probably not. The experience could have been great--but too many unnecessary rules and not enough common sense got in the way. Parents: just know what you're walking into, and maybe bring a rulebook with the gift bags.

    Wow, beer nice!

This was my very first time visiting. Having a 4 year old, I only spent time at then Adventure Course section for toddlers and younger kids. I will say it's a lot larger than what you think! With three levels, I felt like Alice in Wonderland ... a maze trying to find my kid! LOL It is a workout for parents. Some parent watch but the signs say a parent must be present so ... it's a workout! The facility was super clean. However we came during the week when they first opened. Honestly a maze like this would be fun for adults too! Maybe after hours with lights dimmed. The staff is super friendly. We were starving after an hour of constant play. Dining in is expensive as with a typical amusement park. However, the food would bring this place down. I spent $61 for 5 ... typical overpriced amusement park food. It EVERY entree was either wrong or horrible. I felt bad to the woman (Claudia). She was super nice and apologetic. It sounded like the mishaps weren't her fault as the cook messed up her the orders. 1. Kids meal - slider and fries: the bread hard and the meat was overcooked. Pretty much charred hockey pucks that were inedible. My son didn't touch them. 2. Kids meal - grilled cheese and tater tots: the tater tots were good but the grilled cheese was on the hardest, untoasted bread. The cheese wasn't even melted! 3. Ultimate loaded fries: they got this wrong. Asked for no onion and no mushrooms. Came full of both and had to be made again. 4. Buffalo Chicken fries: came last. Cut tip chicken tenders were so hard it bent the fork (see picture). 5. No nacho sauce in stock. 6. Was told no ranch for the kid meals or my buffalo fries. Luckily Claudia found some. I felt really bad for her because she could tell it was all wrong. She had to remake a lot of food but honestly it should've been refunded. I would stick with pizza if I return to dine in. Cool thing is they have beer, wine and mixed drinks for adults. My experience at the facility was excellent. But the food was inedible which is sad because it's a very nice place. But the food is as the worst ever. Customer service (front desk and Claudia) were awesome.

Very pleased with our first experience booking a party at No Surrender! Our family had a birthday party here for our child and 10 friends. We opted for a birthday package which included one hour in the adventure course, one hour in the party room, a $15 game card for each guest, 3 pizzas & unlimited beverages. Each guest also received a No Surrender Dogtag necklace. The facility was clean, newly renovated, and not as loud as other comparable birthday spots in the area. We were greeted upon entering, given a birthday rolling cart, introduced to our party host, and we were informed they would decorate and set everything up. Our party host, Aslin, was so kind, focused, attentive, and really did a phenomenal job setting up the room. There is even a button to push in the room if there is anything you need as the party is going in the room. She helped with setup, clean-up, serving food & cake, and beverages. Pizza was fresh out on tables precisely on time, kids loved it, and you can choose a full topping or half and half. Though we had many of our own party supplies, they are happy to supply plates, cups, napkins, utensils, tablecloths, etc. Our child thoroughly enjoy their party, and as parents, we were so impressed with the timeliness, attention to detail, and care the host and facility takes to make the day as smooth and fun as possible. They used their own tape, push pins, etc. to put up our decorations too! Tips: we were able to bring in a veggie tray, a fruit tray, and a cake. They kept these items refrigerated and labeled until we needed them. You can only bring in specific outside food if you book a party room. Also, to save time, recommend having guests sign waivers prior to party start time (it cane even be done online) We highly recommend having a party at No Surrender in Clovis, CA! I made sure to tell many workers at No Surrender how pleased we were with our whole experience, but I just had to share the excitement with you all! Thank you!

My total waste expense for this terrible service party

Ask the Community - No Surrender Adventure Park

    What is the pricing?

The Combo prices are $30 to $24 and $50. The family pack is $135.

How frequent does cleaning happen in the kids zone and play area?

Hi we clean the play area every night and for the ball pit we clean them twice a week with a machine that will wash all the balls in the ball pit

Can we bring in cupcakes to the table area?

No outside food unless you pay for their party room ( not worth it)

Those you have taken older kids into the play area.... what did they think? What would you say is the upper age limit? Their website says 7-14 is the upper age limit. That's a pretty big range.

It has several memorials to U.S. Military, Military Dogs and Veterans; and provide facilities and support programs to promote a legacy of Military Service. It serves as an elegant world-class educational center to present and preserve regional history, with an emphasis on Veterans of the Clovis community. The structures invite quiet contemplation as one wanders through the memorials. Here is Hallowed, Sacred and Desecrated ground. That means never is yelling done here and no playing or games are to be played here. That includes pokeman players. For the sacrifices of Veterans must always be remembered and respected for they gave their tomorrows for our today. Special districts are a form of local government governed by an elected Board of Directors created by a local community to meet a specific need. Inadequate tax bases and competing demands for existing taxes make it hard for cities and counties to provide all the services their citizens desire. When residents or landowners want new services or higher levels of existing services, they can form a district to pay for and administer them. It is clear that a lot of pride and love went into the creation of these memorials and goes into maintaining them. This place is classy, clean and disabled-friendly. The floors are glossy, there are plenty of bathrooms and they are fresh and stocked. Many who work here are volunteers for as per Acts 20:35 ESV / "In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."" As we walked the memorials, tears came as I again remember the words of General Norman Schwarzkopf Jr., United States Army (Ret.) Veteran, that "the more we sweat in Peace, the less we bleed in war." Those words should be and always must be the war standard that we hold every politician to. For "The military don't start wars. Politicians start war." correctly said General William Westmoreland, United States Army (Ret.) Veteran. That's why I support that all elected or appointed politicians who aren't currently Serving or haven't Served in America's Armed Forces, are required to spend the first six weeks of each of their terms in the front lines / combat zone hospital unit. Clovis Veterans Memorial District tells a terrifying story that war is never a nice place to visit, and no one wants to live there. It is a special district established 11 June 1946. In 1946, Ernest Hemingway wrote, "Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime." That's why I also support that all who aren't currently Serving or haven't Served in America's Armed Forces, are required to pay an annual War Tax of 10% of their gross income. I also support a draft for all with no exemptions. CDC rules are practiced here.

Vanessa is by far the WORST venue coordinator I've interacted with in terms of customer service, industry knowledge, and communication skills. If you read the other positive reviews, you'll notice they ALL paid additional money for Vanessa to be their wedding coordinator. If you do not pay this, she is a horror to work with (as corroborated by the negative reviews), and I recommend AVOIDING this venue. Another reviewer also stated the owner is her brother-in-law so there is no recourse for her behavior and there are no other venue coordinators available. Detailed below are just some of the negatives: - The wedding was actually for my sister. She was having difficulties with Vanessa so asked me to assist. I reached out to Vanessa explaining who I was but never received a response. Instead, Vanessa told my sister that she felt threatened by my contact and will only work with individuals that signed the venue contract. I never said anything negative, but she often overreacted and took offense over nothing. - Every response took 2 weeks. She would contradict herself in the same email, which added confusion. - She would use made up lingo and when asked for clarification, she would blame us for not understanding "industry language" and still wouldn't clarify. In my 10 years, I've never heard some of the terms that she used. - She didn't understand standard wedding requests. We asked for a cake table and Vanessa responded that the request was unclear because she didn't know what size a cake table should be. We asked to add 2 rectangular side tables for guestbooks, gifts, etc. On the proposal, Vanessa commented "unsure why the client requested". - Unless asked, she wouldn't disclose critical information. We asked multiple times if additional tables (sweetheart, cocktail, etc.) are free. Vanessa confirmed they were free, but once the proposal arrived, it showed free tables with each linen at an additional charge. I told my sister to confirm if the venue provided cake cutting utensils. They don't (which is fine) but this is all information that you tell your clients without prompting. Imagine cutting the cake with no utensils! - When asked questions, she rudely responded with "NO" or "YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE" - In the 1.5 years of planning, despite multiple requests, the venue proposal was only updated twice - once for the initial contract and once when full payment was due 30 days before the event. My sister had to withhold final payment to get her to update it. She updated it 1 week after with inaccurate information. We annotated and returned it next day saying that she'd pay once it was correct. Vanessa had the audacity to respond that making notes on the proposal made it seem like they were stalling payment. Granted, there were 1-2 new updates amongst many more corrections but it was because Vanessa withheld information, and new adjustments were required after seeing the revised proposal for the 1st time. - Vanessa never provided a table layout. My sister had to create it and then confirmed if 5 round tables per row would work. On wedding day, we arrived to a different layout of 4 rounds per row. Vanessa blamed it on a 2 ft. wide photo arch, stating that she had to make adjustments to fit an arch that was discussed weeks prior. However, it was evident that the room would have NEVER fit 5 rounds per row. We had to rearrange the seating chart and the chairs to accommodate for her mess. - Also on wedding day, Vanessa was surprised to find the timeline included a champagne toast. Mind you, the timeline was provided 30 days ago and toasts are standard in weddings. So, she gave us 30 mins to decide on the additional champagne cost. I asked to remove 1 champagne bottle charge as there was an entire table of kids, but she refused. So apparently, the venue includes children in the champagne count even though serving alcohol to minors is illegal. - There was also a safety hazard. About 25 chairs with wheels/casters were intermingled with standard dining chairs. I unknowingly sat in a chair with casters and almost fell. There was no visible difference between the standard chairs vs. chairs with casters, and the table linens prevent anyone from seeing the casters. I told Vanessa who saw no issues and argued that people falling out their chair has never happened before. Thankfully, we were able to get these all replaced prior to the wedding to avoid any older guests from getting hurt. To the owner: Not only is Vanessa horrible to clients, but since she never updated the proposal, the kitchen used the original headcount and cooked 40 additional meals (talk about a waste of money). Also, due to not providing a table layout, the banquet captain Griselda set up tables once, and then had to come back 1 hr earlier to redo it, making staff do avoidable extra work.

BUT the owner invited me in to check out the new events venue THE PAVILION! And it is pretty dang cool. It will be completed soon and is open to book for weddings and any other types of events! He is also hoping to (possibly) host a concert summer series out by the old bumper boat pond and an Octoberfest (starting next year) with beer and venues at each of the 18 holes (). So it might not be a resurrection of the miniature golf course like we'd hoped, but it's still pretty exciting to have something local hosting some fun events! The place looks amazing and a great view for any event! My review obviously is not based on an experience of hosting an event there, but the owner was really cool and the venue itself is pretty awesome! Definitely something to check out
