My husband and I got married at Starlight Grove in mid April 2024. It was the best decision that we ever made! Eden and Joe are both so kind and accommodating. We were able to have the venue for an entire weekend, which made the entire process easier. Starlight Grove does have chairs and tables available to use! We held our rehearsal dinner at the venue and were able to utilize the chairs and tables provided at no extra charge. I preferred wood tables and chairs for our actual wedding, so I used an outside rental company. Eden and Joe have absolutely everything that you need from decor to arches. I hope to do more events at this venue in the future.

This venue is the most amazing venue for a wedding. I had so many people compliment my wedding and say how it looked like a fairytale! We had it all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Eden and Joe are both so sweet and easy to work with! I used four backdrops they offered. And they have two Ctrains full of decor that you can use! They allow you to use any vendors you'd like as well. Foldable white plastic chairs and tables are included along with white linens. I rented fruit wood ones for more of an aesthetic look but I didn't need to. And they also gave me $200 off of the final price for rented other chairs! They also helped me set up and take down and they truly care about the property looking pristine and so beautiful I highly recommend this venue!

Beautiful party venue. My daughter had her wedding here in April 2024. Everything is well maintained. The owners were eager to help when they found out we were short staffed and wouldn't even take a tip for doing so. I highly recommend for your next event.

Where to start! I'm very happy that I had my wedding at this venue. The venue is so beautiful at night. The area is very spacious, you can decorate how ever you want. The owners lets you use whatever stuff they have on their storage and be creative. We had over 100 guests, all adults and had over 10 tables. I know they recently have new owners and they've been very helpful during the day of the event. I communicated with the new owners if we can start dropping off any alcohol and ice days prior to the event and they were very accommodating. They even met my family! Before the event, I always make sure that we read the contract such as providing event insurance, music down by 10pm but since I had my wedding ended at 10pm, it was no issue for us. Then started putting stuff away so it won't be a hassle cleaning up the next day and also so we can get our deposit back. The new owner helped us clean the following day, she separated the water bottles and cans for recyclable. I got such good compliments about having my wedding in this venue, I don't want to take all the credit. I have friends already interested of booking this venue for reception and baby shower. I really recommend this place and wish I can give more than 5 stars because I'll definitely will book this venue when I decide to throw a special event.

This was the most perfect venue for our wedding in April! My husband and I toured it a year before and absolutely fell in love. The property is gorgeous, has so many decorations and little details to use, and the owners are so kind and helpful. Eden answered a million of my questions and made everything so simple. I'm so glad we chose Starlight Grove because it was so memorable and beautiful. Our wedding was technically a destination wedding because it's about 5.5 hours from our home (and all our family and friends) but everyone was gushing about how the drive was so worth it because the venue was amazing. The bride and grooms suites are perfect for getting ready, and there's even a bathroom just for the wedding party if anyone needs privacy. Eden and Joe helped so much to make our wedding a perfect day, and it was!!! Even though it rained the day before and the ground was muddy, they put down some carpet grass to keep guests from getting wet. They thought of everything and were so helpful. I highly recommend this venue!!

We had our wedding here and let me tell you, I can't speak more highly of this place. It was the first and only place we checked out. As we walked for the tour, I immediately fell in love and just knew that this is the place for my dream wedding. They have a few storage containers full of decorations we could use as well! Eden is simple and easy to work with. We were able to come by weeks before the wedding to look at the decorations and plan out the wedding. You are given all weekend, so Friday for set up, Saturday for set up and ceremony, and Sunday for take down. I was able to decorate it the way I wanted it with the help of friends and family, which made the event more special. The string lights throughout the venue made it look like a fairytale. If you are planning a wedding with a budget this is the place to have it. It's affordable, table/chairs and linen included, decorations included, arches and wine barrels are included, fire pits included, as well as heated lamps and fans. Eden and her family were amazing and we will definitely be having more celebrations here!

We came here to take family pictures and I had never even heard of the place. I looked it up online and saw all the pictures and I was in shock that this was the first time I had even seen this venue! When we arrived it was beautiful, so much better than the pictures we had seen. The little forest and the huge waterfall and then the bridge and little playground. The grass area and the statues and it was just full of surprises. I could see why someone would want to get married here, the firepit as well. I mean just so many little touches and out in the country to have privacy and an intimate gathering. I wish I would have known about this place sooner. Such a beautiful hidden gem.

First look in the eucalyptus tree tunnel with cross at the end. BEAUTIFUL!

I recently had the opportunity to plan and design a romantic wedding here, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. The property itself is absolutely stunning, especially for outdoor celebrations. Between the natural surroundings and the way the light hits during golden hour, it creates such an effortlessly beautiful backdrop. What I love most about this venue is how versatile it is from a design standpoint. I felt like I was really able to transform the space to reflect my couple's vision and make it feel unique to them, while still letting the natural setting shine through. It's the kind of place that supports both simplicity and more elevated, layered design. From a planner's perspective, the team made a huge impact. The staff was incredibly helpful, organized, and easy to work with throughout the entire process and on event day. That level of support behind the scenes makes all the difference in creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. The layout also allows for a natural flow between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, which is something I always prioritize when designing an event. If you're looking for a Central Valley venue that combines romantic scenery, flexibility, and a well-run team, this is absolutely a place I would recommend.

We attended a wedding here in the summer and the venue exceeded our expectations. Even though the weather was hot, the venue had an ample amount of shade from trees so it was easy to stay cool throughout the ceremony. The restrooms are blasting with air conditioning so people sought relief in there. Food wise, the food served was hot and above average for a wedding. It seemed like thanksgiving dinner but in a good way. The workers were professional and friendly throughout the night. There is a fair amount of parking but its a bit rough and unpaved so do drive carefully and slowly when pulling in. One thing I would mention is to definitely wear sunblock and bug spray here because when we went home, we were covered in bug bites. I would consider this location if you are looking for a wedding venue.

We fell in love with the grounds- they have a spacious venue with various 'yards' that we viewed in our walk through of the venue. The space is beautiful and natural, if you pay attention to what's around you - you'll notice a ton of little things like honey suckle, fish in the river, and blackberry bushes. We were contracted under their all inclusive option, so much of the planning fell onto me and my fiancé - though we were able to contact Devin, Montana, and Sierra about any questions we have. There was some wait time in response but we came to understood that they have a young family. They would connect us with or share their recommended vendors, many of them had all the items we were looking for and more! Us being rather new to formal events, Montana and Sierra walked us through what is typically expected and timelines- like father daughter dance, bouquet toss, etc and alternatives - so we could think about what we wanted to do or wanted to add. (RBR related vendors - bar / photography) Photography: Devin is really quick to respond and works with all styles of photography I had shown him from our Pinterest inspiration. He's really chill, he walked us through our first 'professional shoot'. We loved our photos that he returned to us! Bar: I forget the bar staffs name, but she was super super accommodating and informative. We brought our own items and she was able to tell us the FL oz and the range of amount for the drinks we desired at the wedding. [leading up to the wedding ] Montana and Sierra would touch base with us and had walk throughs of the facility to talk about our vision, placement, variability in placement (cause it's a huge space), and setting up of the rehearsal day and timeframes. [Day-before wedding] Rehearsal was smooth. We were able to practice as many times as we needed to get a feel for what to expect and do for the wedding. We were able to make last minute changes to the binder plan that my fiancé and I had prepared to meet a better aesthetic. Sierra promptly wrote these new notes down and walked us through pacing and what to expect as well as get our family members to be comfortable with this part of the ceremony. [Day of Wedding] POV you're me and my fiancé. We have 95% planned out and done and we're scrambling lowkey on getting our folks together and on schedule with us an our coordinators. We had some DIY we didn't get to finish - putting photos on backdrops and putting our papers on the seating chart. Sierra and co was able to finish this on our behalf so we can have our day to just be our big fun day with everyone! We never expected them to do it for us and we are so thankful that they did - albeit it was not major DIY (getting ready for the day took us longer than expected). Sierra, Devin, and Montana checked in with us to let us know our timeline for our wedding day and kept us moving so we can get all the big stuff out of the way so we can enjoy the rest of it. Sierra would check in on us to make sure we knew when to be ready by for photos with Devin, where to go for rep-entrance, and when we were done with all the mini events planned. By the end of the night, my fiancé and I were a good silly mood and so happy that we chose venue and so thankful for the team that made the day so smooth for us. They were accommodating and clear with all the little customizations we wanted for our wedding. All we had to do basically day of was bring our stuff, get ready, do our jobs, have fun, clean up our personal items (makeup clothes), and pick up our big items the next day. Our guests loved the venue, the vibes, and the staff. I would love to come here again as a guest so I can enjoy a drink by the riverbed

The property is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but our experience was ultimately stressful and disappointing. Communication with the venue manager, Montana, was very difficult throughout the entirety of our planning. Important details we were promised during our site visit with Devin (like being allowed music until 11 PM) were later changed, including being told less than three weeks before our wedding that our live band could not perform. Catering was also problematic -- the contracted vendor was switched, tastings were hard to arrange, prices changed unexpectedly, and on the wedding day food came out cold and many plates with missing or incorrect sides dishes. The venue itself needed more upkeep than expected. Our family had to clean up the grounds the night before, including but not limited to trash and dead overgrown vegetation. The bridal suite lost power repeatedly during hair and makeup with only 8 girls getting ready. Cattle also wandered into our ceremony and cocktail spaces prior to our event and the day of - leaving the site in poor condition. Several of our vendors also shared they would no longer work with this venue due to the same repeated challenges. While the property has beautiful grounds and has a lot of potential, I would not recommend it under current management.

Vanessa is by far the WORST venue coordinator I've interacted with in terms of customer service, industry knowledge, and communication skills. If you read the other positive reviews, you'll notice they ALL paid additional money for Vanessa to be their wedding coordinator. If you do not pay this, she is a horror to work with (as corroborated by the negative reviews), and I recommend AVOIDING this venue. Another reviewer also stated the owner is her brother-in-law so there is no recourse for her behavior and there are no other venue coordinators available. Detailed below are just some of the negatives: - The wedding was actually for my sister. She was having difficulties with Vanessa so asked me to assist. I reached out to Vanessa explaining who I was but never received a response. Instead, Vanessa told my sister that she felt threatened by my contact and will only work with individuals that signed the venue contract. I never said anything negative, but she often overreacted and took offense over nothing. - Every response took 2 weeks. She would contradict herself in the same email, which added confusion. - She would use made up lingo and when asked for clarification, she would blame us for not understanding "industry language" and still wouldn't clarify. In my 10 years, I've never heard some of the terms that she used. - She didn't understand standard wedding requests. We asked for a cake table and Vanessa responded that the request was unclear because she didn't know what size a cake table should be. We asked to add 2 rectangular side tables for guestbooks, gifts, etc. On the proposal, Vanessa commented "unsure why the client requested". - Unless asked, she wouldn't disclose critical information. We asked multiple times if additional tables (sweetheart, cocktail, etc.) are free. Vanessa confirmed they were free, but once the proposal arrived, it showed free tables with each linen at an additional charge. I told my sister to confirm if the venue provided cake cutting utensils. They don't (which is fine) but this is all information that you tell your clients without prompting. Imagine cutting the cake with no utensils! - When asked questions, she rudely responded with "NO" or "YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE" - In the 1.5 years of planning, despite multiple requests, the venue proposal was only updated twice - once for the initial contract and once when full payment was due 30 days before the event. My sister had to withhold final payment to get her to update it. She updated it 1 week after with inaccurate information. We annotated and returned it next day saying that she'd pay once it was correct. Vanessa had the audacity to respond that making notes on the proposal made it seem like they were stalling payment. Granted, there were 1-2 new updates amongst many more corrections but it was because Vanessa withheld information, and new adjustments were required after seeing the revised proposal for the 1st time. - Vanessa never provided a table layout. My sister had to create it and then confirmed if 5 round tables per row would work. On wedding day, we arrived to a different layout of 4 rounds per row. Vanessa blamed it on a 2 ft. wide photo arch, stating that she had to make adjustments to fit an arch that was discussed weeks prior. However, it was evident that the room would have NEVER fit 5 rounds per row. We had to rearrange the seating chart and the chairs to accommodate for her mess. - Also on wedding day, Vanessa was surprised to find the timeline included a champagne toast. Mind you, the timeline was provided 30 days ago and toasts are standard in weddings. So, she gave us 30 mins to decide on the additional champagne cost. I asked to remove 1 champagne bottle charge as there was an entire table of kids, but she refused. So apparently, the venue includes children in the champagne count even though serving alcohol to minors is illegal. - There was also a safety hazard. About 25 chairs with wheels/casters were intermingled with standard dining chairs. I unknowingly sat in a chair with casters and almost fell. There was no visible difference between the standard chairs vs. chairs with casters, and the table linens prevent anyone from seeing the casters. I told Vanessa who saw no issues and argued that people falling out their chair has never happened before. Thankfully, we were able to get these all replaced prior to the wedding to avoid any older guests from getting hurt. To the owner: Not only is Vanessa horrible to clients, but since she never updated the proposal, the kitchen used the original headcount and cooked 40 additional meals (talk about a waste of money). Also, due to not providing a table layout, the banquet captain Griselda set up tables once, and then had to come back 1 hr earlier to redo it, making staff do avoidable extra work.
