Both delicious with a great kick. The drive-thru is always interesting due to being on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is a stretch to reach, but they make it work. The sauces were good and flavorful. The chile rellanos were soft which is not my preferred style (I like crispy), but they were great. They came with rice and beans and sour cream and guac and were smothered with a tortilla on the side. I really enjoyed the food. The staff were friendly. There is an interesting quirk to this place, I think it is the only place I have been to that has the drive-through on the wrong side. So, you pick the order up through your passenger window. I wasn't sure how it was going to work out, but it was fine. The person at the window stretches out to you with a tray and uses this method to hand your payment and food back and forth. I will say, part of the menu board was hard/impossible to read with the way they have it set up. I had to pull up, read the combos, then back up and enter the drive thru. Not a big deal, but this is one place that makes this place a little different than the rest. I would say that the strange drive thru configuration may impact you if you have a handicap and cannot lean far over your passenger seat to get your order and pay so keep that in mind if handicapped. Overall, it was great. I will definitely be back.

The menu only had pictures and no prices so I had to ask about the different options. I got the flautas meal, which included rice and beans. The rice in beans were good but the flautas had chicken that was overly cooked and hard. I make better ones at home. My husband got the smothered carna asada burrito and he thought it was okay and definitely not a go back. For $35, this wasn't the best. The restaurant is a hole in the wall, think fast food spot, so don't expect a great ambiance.

But as luck would have it, today, I drove right by and decided to stop in. I didn't expect a big dining room with two sides, but they had or the giant window into the kitchen that lets you see them pressing the Fresh made corn tortillas. That was a special treat. They were very patient with us as we brought our dog inside and told us as long as he doesn't fart and serve the other customers they had no problem with him being there :) We tried some of the tacos and the Horchata Agua Fresca. Everything was delicious, I originally asked for their recommendation on which tacos to get and he said you can't go wrong, so I opted for one El Pastor one Carne Asada, and one birria taco add cheese. Everything was so good, the perfect balance of flavors and very generous portion - these tacos were stuffed! They also have an awesome salsa and topping bar with tons of options and a serve yourself format with little containers and lids. At $3.50 per taco this is a super reasonable place for a bite and I'll definitely be back anytime I'm near Westminster.

My litmus test for a good Mexican joint is how well they handle their pork. The carnitas were easily in the top 3 I've tried in Denver. Crispy on the outside and soft tender almost melting on the inside. It's brought out with rice, white beans, guac, and a roasted jalapeno pepper. The menu is full of beef, chicken, fish, and other options to be served as tacos, burritos, in a skillet, or platter. Drinks are from the cooler. No beer or alcohol.
