This vietnamese restaurant has a street food menu which i am very interested in. Unfortunately we were told the street food menu is only avaiable on weekends when we sat down. We tried the crispy crab spring rolls, the signature pan seared beef pho and the hoinoi style special banh mi we also ordered the egg coffee and laughing cow cheese coffee The crab spring rolls were crispy with a generous filling. Broth for the pho was good too. The pate inside the banh mi was tasty. But a bit too little vegetables for a banh mi to my preference In general food was good and will visit again for the street food menu All servers were nice and polite. However the workflow seemed a bit chaotic. We waited a long time for the coffee and a lot of tables (including ours) had some food arrived but not all. this resulted with one person eating at a table while the rest were waiting. which is awkward. food generally took quite long to arrive

Quite a bit of a wait but worth it. The table seating is very cramped and not great for groups. Your table is essentially limited to one dish pp. the flavours were all there and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Street parking was easy

No Ne Kitchen and Bar is a cute and cozy Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Demand Street and loved every minute of my visit. Serviced, food and décor all 5 stars!. Staff were very helpful and friend from the start to the end. Serving Northern Vietnamese cuisine which tends to be lighter and less sweet than the South and it reflected that. We had the free-range chicken Pho and Bon Bo Hue, and the soup based tasted lighter but savory and enjoyed. My friend had the dry noodles with crispy crab roll. The crab roll was deep fried absolutely perfectly with a flaky and light coating and the meat and crab inside seasoned just right. Loved the cute décor which transported me back to Vietnam to the olden days. The restaurant is small and seats about 24 people. It's Demand Street so in the busy part of the West End, so limited meter parking on the street or take transit. Yes, I'll be going back.

I had a great experience dining here at No Ne Kitchen. The pho was delicious and the salad rolls were so good. The service was also fast and friendly. I definitely would recommend checking this amazing spot out in the West End

Unique Vietnamese menu with items not offered elsewhere. Informative & friendly service. Our dishes were great & I look forward to returning. Highly recommend calling to make advance reservations due to limited seating.

This little gem of a restaurant in Vancouver's West End fits right in to the neighbourhood's already awesome vibe. Even though it has been open for only two weeks, No Ne, which features northern Vietnamese cuisine, already has a loyal and growing fan base (now including us!). Dining here feels like you are welcome and honoured guests of the owners, Andrew and Ellie. The ambiance is cozy, comfortable, and super welcoming. The menu is informative and easy to understand. And our servers, Edward and Cara, not only showed us how to combine ingredients for an authentic eating experience, but also were total and complete sweethearts. And that's just the beginning - the food was AMAZING! We savoured every bite and really look forward to coming back soon - provided we can get a table (the first two times we tried to eat here, the line was all the way out to the street but third time's the charm). They do take reservations during the week, but not during weekends. We ordered V3 (Bun Nem Cua Be) - deep fried crab spring rolls vermicelli, and V8 (Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio) - grilled pork vermicelli with imperial spring rolls. Both were absolutely delicious, with delicate yet complex flavours, tons of umami, and were presented beautifully, using authentic trays, bowls, and accessories imported from Vietnam (as are many of the ingredients). Andrew stopped by to chat with us while we were there, which helped us feel so at home and welcome. We will be back to "run the menu" - we plan to try each and every dish. But for now, two thumbs up for V3 and V8!

This new place is in my neighborhood and I've dropped by a couple of times, however the small seating area was always full! This is a very good sign, and also most of the clientele are Asians. I got lucky tonight when I went for a walk and they had a table for two for me. I only ordered the Hue Royal Beef Noodle soup but it really was enough for dinner. It was packed with all kinds of things, you can read about it on the menu when you go. The broth is absolutely drinkable! Delicious spin on the South Vietnamese pho, as this is North Vietnamese cuisine. I'll be back for lunch

I've always wanted to do something like this but have been a bit nervous to do so but he made the class fun, funny, and so easy! You have the chance to make 3 bespoke artisan cocktails during this 3 hour class, 2 of their signatures and then the 3rd Aaron let us pick! He made it so easy and explained each step well, also how to use the tools properly along with sharing some great tips on shaking, measuring and also the importance of balance in your cocktail. I enjoyed every minute as well as consuming the cocktails after... each so delicious made with their in house liquors. If I had room I would have bought several bottles with me to take home!

Aaron came out as we were looking for Plan B and let us know the event had just ended and they were open again. (5 loud cheers on the street for sure!) I tried both the Kyoto and Wet Work, enjoying them both. They would even work as a blend of one another. My dad accidentally ordered a chocolate martini instead of an espresso martini, and Aaron made it happen. (The entire table loved it! Take that poured over some ice cream and I'd be far too content!) My brother had the gin martini, and while not a fan of gin straight up, it had a nice smooth finish that I could appreciate.

For food, we got the karaage and meatballs. Both items were plated nicely but flavor were just okay. Particularly the meatballs where very crumbly. Can barely pick one up with fork without it falling apart. For drinks, we got the plum Spritz and the ginger old fashion. For a bar, with drinks mostly priced around $18-20, they are not even using clear ice. Then, for the old fashion, they are using a huge slice of grapefruit as garnish which 1. Their "brunch burger" is a major missed opportunity though... this really should have a fried egg on it. You could possibly add an egg from the ala carte section of the menu, but those cost $3, so you'd be looking at $27 for a burger and a half a cup of fried potatoes. That's insanely expensive. Currently the brunch burger has two small patties which have a tendency to overcook and become dry. My patties were well-done despite me asking for medium - don't even ask if the kitchen can't deliver. Not sure what makes that a brunch burger, but it would be much better if those two patties were combined into one, and a fried egg was added, while staying below a $24 price point expensive burgers in Vancouver. Other restaurants can do it.... Oh, the other disappointing thing is that the card reader defaults to tips at 18, 25, and 28%. Not cool - we already pay servers high wages in BC, tipping should be 10% if not eliminated altogether. 28%? No thanks!
