    2. Shrimp Egg Roll shrimp with 97. Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables 35. Combination Fried Rice

Waited way too long on a Sunday evening to order the Chinese I'd been craving all day so I was genuinely surprised when this place popped up as being still open at 9:20pm. Called and placed a takeout order and the person who took it mentioned that they were closing soon so would I please be there in 15 mins to pick up and I obliged. Although the person on the phone was very straight to the point the staff was very polite when I arrived and even gave me both chili oil and hot sauce packets when I said I wasn't sure which I would prefer. This is decent quality Chinese food for rather reasonable prices. The vegetables and shrimp in particular seemed to be really fresh.

    Sweet and Sour chicken

Who orders sweet and sour chicken and only expects chicken and sauce?? If you go here that is all you will get. No explanation on the menu, and the picture in the wall- it is only a picture. Apparently everyone whonis allergic to green pepper, onion, tomato and pineapple have been complaining. I have been eating sweet and sour chicken ALL of my life and have never had it that way. No soy sauce or sweet and sour for egg rolls given either This is not my usual spot for chinese food and it wont be again!

My search for local Chinese food has taken me here many times. I have hit about every place within 5 miles of my house and this on ranks #1....ish. Mason was my first pick till they sold and fell apart. Good: Food is decent. Not a fan of the fried shrimp, but everything else is pretty decent. I have had a wide array of items and would only avoid anything with shrimp. All very standard fair. Bad: calling them is impossible. I would bet their sales would go up 30-40% if they upgraded their phones. Just order online. You miss out on discounts but save frustration. They are perpetually busy. Overall this is the best in the area, but there is still room for improvement.

Lucky Panda is one of the many restaurants in strip malls in this part of town. Has a lot of the common items. There's beef and chicken of course, as well as tofu for healthy options. A lot of customers seem to get carryout. It's got a pretty big dining room if you want to eat inside. There's also a gaming section with a few slots. As for the food it's basic. It's about $14 for an entree. Portions are kind of big though. Has some that are spicy. We got the Kung Pao Tofu. Came with quite a few pieces of tofu in it. Too bad these were kind of burnt and tough. Had a good variety of vegetables including carrots and peas. The meal was pretty okay but they didn't understand we were eating in and they made it to go, so we ate it out of the bag at a table. For sure there's many Chinese restaurants that are much better. It's located in the one strip mall on Eola. There's a few options with tofu for vegans and vegetarians.

The portion was clearly reduced but the price stayed the same. This place has always been consistent for me so the change was frustrating. I understand costs go up but smaller portions without any notice isn't great. Has anyone else noticed this or was it just a one off? I'm hoping this isn't a new trend because I've otherwise enjoyed ordering from here.

They'll give you some fresh rice on top then the bottom it's old rice at the bottom you can tell because it two different colors I have received that myself, and I took it back over there to them and they made me some fresh rice it was all one color. The cooks are nice. I guess he's the owner of whatever the chef of whatever but he will come and stand there and look and then they start talking in Chinese, but it's OK cause I act like I talk Chinese too at first it was nice and then I've been getting food that was not good this week. I went there and purchased rice and my top rice was good. My bottom rice was not and I asked for a vegetarian rice. I do not eat meat when I get eggrolls I asked for vegetarian eggrolls, but I don't know what's in them eggrolls I will never purchase any food from them again I'm going to go to Naperville. Has typical Chinese restaurant items. The menu also features a few vegetarian friendly choices such as tofu. Fairly recently we got carryout. It seems to get most business this way as there's never anyone inside. They seem to encourage this. A lot of times the inside is closed. There's only a few tables. I ordered us the Kung Pao Tofu at lunch. It's $10.35 for the only portion. This is one of the vegetarian friendly choices you can get, and the only good one that has tofu and not just vegetables. This only comes as large size. This has green peppers, mushrooms, onions, pea pods, and peanuts in a spicy Szechuan sauce. A much better meal than expected. The freshness wasn't an issue. Good lunch at least the last time we came here. It has typical Chinese stuff and some vegetarian friendly options. This place is mostly takeout.

I moved away to Clarendon Hills, but my mom still lives near by & so today I was in the area & stopped by. Something I have ALWAYS loved about this restaurant is the fish tank, & I noticed it has recently been restocked with fresh Koi. Which, made me sad because it really made me realize how old I am. Ordered my food, General Taos, chicken Fried rice & crab rangoons, my old usual. Drove all the way home, and opened & absolutely devoured my meal. Literally 3 decades of going to this restaurant, and it STILL hits every time. Thank you.

We were served water and then for 20 mins, no one came to ask if we wanted drinks until our rest of our family sat down. The server was acting busy, but the restaurant only had two other tables. Although lots of take out! 9 of us, we ordered a lot of food and it was A LOT. Mostly rice and noodles very little meat in the dishes. Everyone said the food was good. Basic Chinese food. I had the chicken fried rice and I tried a pot sticker. Tasted like all other foods I've had in the past. We were given cookies and fortune cookies to finish. Bathrooms were dirty and regular paper towels were provided. Didn't see a normal towel dispenser. Would I return? Nah. Maybe I would order out if I lived I the area. But I don't know if there are better places in the area. Which I'm guessing no. That's why there are so many take-outs.
