Amazing food, very warm inviting service (similar to Bernhardt's and Dreyfus) and a great chilled but vibrant atmosphere.

Already made reservations to return to NL Ginzburg this weekend, it's that good. Dinner for 2. We started with the Crostini di fegatini ebraici - chicken liver. Delicious. Their primi are intended to share so we split a Bonavista cod tortellini in brodo di pesce. Tortolini stuffed with cod is an inspired idea. Lastly we both ordered Sablefish, leeks, salsa di capperi. The fish melted in your mouth and leeks/salsa a perfect match. Their desserts are also not to be missed (see pix). The restaurant decor is basic, more of a trattoria feel. It downplays the quality of the kitchen. Wine list while diverse is a touch on the higher priced side, same could probably be said for the full meal. Service was exceptional and friendly.

We must have stopped at every restaurant and they were all packed, with long wait times. Darn! The Toronto FC were playing the CF Montréal at the nearby BMO Field. That's why it's so busy! We ended up wandering a little farther north to Levetto, a cozy Italian joint offering pizza, pasta, and wine. This turned out to be a great move because the pizza and pasta that we had were outstanding! It was a nice evening with great weather so we sat on their cozy patio and had some wine while waiting for the food. We enjoyed a great tasting pasta dish! The Pollo Con Zucca, made with tagliatelle, parmesan cream sauce, butternut squash, chicken breast, parsley, and Grana Padano was deeelicious! Known as the Carnivoro, this pizza had tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, braised beef, bacon, and spicy soppressata. The crust was nice, light, and crispy. Outstanding pizza! With great food, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance, I highly recommend this place!

I happened to be around this area, looking for some carbs for dinner. So we picked up Carbonara pasta only. Pleasant surprise. The pasta had fresh house-made texture with firm bite (in a good way, not under-cooked firmness). Noodle was thicker side (my preference). Carbonara sauce seasoning & texture were right, and on-point, plenty cheese and bacon. Good amount of black pepper to enhance tastes of all of the above. Happy experience :)

I felt like a burrito with chunks of meat in it, which led me to their Roasted Steak menu item. I ordered it with every topping available and requested the hottest spice level. It's fine. There's absolutely nothing within it that blew my mind, but I happily ate the concoction down to the last bite. I will say, though, that the Roasted Steak turned out to be tasteless pulled meat, so that was a little disappointing. And the spice level was far from extreme, unfortunately. I did appreciate that guacamole was provided free of charge. It's a little ridiculous that the majority of burrito joints charge an extra couple of bucks for the stuff, so kudos to you, Fat Bastard, for bucking that dumb, cash-grabbing trend.

I'd just been to the Yonge and Eglinton location a few weeks earlier, so I figured I'd get something I hadn't tried before: the Go Burger ("Quarter pound beef patty, Go sauce, crispy cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, onions and pickles.") It's magnificent. It's legitimately one of the best burgers in the city. Everything works so well together, from that delectable crispy cheese to the addictive Go sauce to the pillowy soft bun. I really enjoyed the heck out of this burger, in case I haven't made it clear enough. So friggin' good!

It was great to hear a new burger place was coming to Liberty Village, and their burgers are great. The fried chicken sandwich, when its served properly (ala my first taste) is kilometers above the one from Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A. In size, the girth and quality of the chicken is top notch. Their lemon meringue pie as well- delicious. The problems came though when I raved about this place to my friends visiting from out of town. We ordered both the beef and chicken burgers. The beef burgers are supposed to come with a cheese crisp, however this time the cheese crisp was well over burnt, it was black in some areas. The fried chicken sandwich as well - our pieces were composed of a majority of batter, and some fat was on the chicken breast as opposed to our first try which was all pure meat. Because of this, the ranking is 4/5 due to a lack of consistency.
