We were out and about at Liberty Village and were feeling a little peckish, so I figured it was the perfect time to finally pop into Aloette. I'd just been to the Yonge and Eglinton location a few weeks earlier, so I figured I'd get something I hadn't tried before: the Go Burger ("Quarter pound beef patty, Go sauce, crispy cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, onions and pickles.") It's magnificent. It's legitimately one of the best burgers in the city. Everything works so well together, from that delectable crispy cheese to the addictive Go sauce to the pillowy soft bun. I finally got a chance to try Aloette Go after hearing so many good things about their burgers. It's a cute little shop located in the Liberty Village Market Building. Ordered ahead and just did pickup and everything was done within the time as requested. Service was good and efficient and everything was packed well. The Aloette burger was cooked really well and had really balanced flavours. The emmental cheese was a nice cheese from typical burgers and set it apart. The pickled onions were also a nice touch. Great food when its great, but consistency is key. I ate here alot when they opened Summer 2021. It was great to hear a new burger place was coming to Liberty Village, and their burgers are great. The fried chicken sandwich, when its served properly (ala my first taste) is kilometers above the one from Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A. In size, the girth and quality of the chicken is top notch. Their lemon meringue pie as well- delicious. The problems came though when I raved about this place to my friends visiting from out of town. We ordered both the beef and chicken burgers. The beef burgers are supposed to come with a cheese crisp, however this time the cheese crisp was well over burnt, it was black in some areas. The fried chicken sandwich as well - our pieces were composed of a majority of batter, and some fat was on the chicken breast as opposed to our first try which was all pure meat. Because of this, the ranking is 4/5 due to a lack of consistency. read more

Came to check out during their buy one get one free burger. Heard it was one of the best burger in the city and wanted to try. It's cooked to a medium where not many places do so was interested to try. The burger itself was pretty good it can be a little on the salty side. It's topped with cheese, pickled onions, lettuce and a sauce. The burger was price at $14 which is high for fast food style but it's restaurant quality so it's ok We also tried their fries were came with a aioli sauce which was really good. By the time we ate the fries tasted a little soggy probably from sitting out too long. Would taste a lot better if it was fresh. $4.50 for fries Overall not a bad place. read more

Aloette Liberty is the Alo Food Group's newest eatery where they offer classic comfort foods (think burgers, fried chicken, lemon meringue pie). Many of their items are best-sellers found at their sister restaurant, Aloette. Located in Liberty Village, this new small location is primarily takeout and delivery where there is no seating inside. I dropped by Aloette Liberty on a Friday afternoon ~5pm to grab dinner. I was debating whether to order off an app/on their site but decided to go in person to order to see how long the food would take. Upon arrival, I was the only customer inside the store although I did see that there were already packed orders behind the counter. Glancing at the menu, I opted for the Aloette fried chicken, watermelon salad, and the lemon meringue pie. I also saw a glass case fill with drinks and wine (Aloette brand wine!). Service was friendly and I waited for my food outside of the eatery as it was too hot inside. My order took about 5-8 min to prepare where staff brought me my order as I was sitting outside. I didn't eat my food right when I got it but waited about an hour before I dug in. The fried chicken was still crispy and all the condiments and bibb lettuce paired well with the chicken (I've had this dish before at the original Aloette location). The watermelon salad was refreshing with the hints of chili, goat cheese, basil, and prosciutto. Also, can't go wrong with the lemon meringue pie. Overall, glad that Aloette has opened a takeout joint that sells all their best-sellers. Great for those days where you just want to order takeout and stay home. read more

This place is the fast food rendition of the Aloette restaurant in downtown. Located in Liberty village, they offer bar food style that's amazingly tasty! The staff were very friendly when i picked up my order that i purchased thru ritual. My friends and i got the Aloette burger, chicken sandwich, and s'mores cookie. Love the medium rare cook style of the Aloette burger, the crispy tenders juicy of the chicken and the melting marshmallow and chocolate of the cookie! This place is really great and I'd love to come back again and get the same things! read more

A friend recommended their Aloette Wedge Salad and I would definitely get it again! Their salad consists of avocado, parmesan, chive ranch, wild rice, crispy soy beans, and pumpkin seeds. I really enjoyed the different texture this salad has and the chive ranch really matched the salad. There is a huge wedge of lettuce so it is definitely enough for a meal. This location is a take out place but there are tables and seats outside the store if you want to sit down and enjoy it right away. read more

Food portions are awful and prices are expensive. Food tasted mediocre. Space felt cramped. The service was the only thing that was good.

Due to the pandemic, I have ordered my food to go. This is my first time trying food at Aloette. I chose to try their signature burger with beef fat-cooked fries after seeing their burger on the best burger in Toronto list. And it is good. Very good. Not overly cooked, nicely seasoned, and not too many toppings that would mask the flavour. The sauce was great and really complimented the burger. What really stood out for me were the fries. They were amazing. And that is coming from someone who absolutely dislikes fries (except for the McDonald's ones). The fries, most importantly, were not over cooked, and they had a great flavour due to how they were cooked. Honestly, I would go back for the fries alone. Hopefully I will be able to write another review that would include me dining at the restaurant. read more
