We really wanted to try their Holiday burger too but didn't get a chance because they were quite busy so there wasn't seating inside. Instead, we chose to brace the cold with the poutine to warm us up. It came out piping hot and the gravy helped to soak the fries. The cheese completely melted. I am not a huge fan of poutines usually but this was very tasty! I think having their curly fries as is with the crunchiness and ketchup would be great. The service was great and the team is very efficient. There were a bunch of walk-in and online orders. Kudos to them.

They offer different cuts of steak, with the price depending on whether you choose steak and fries or steak and salad. I went with the 6 oz sirloin and salad. I asked about the difference between the sirloin and the cap steak, and was told the sirloin was the leaner option while the cap had more fat. Unfortunately, my sirloin ended up being much fattier than I expected. The steak itself was cooked well with a nice char and simple seasoning, but nearly a third of it was fat, which made it feel like poor value. The side salad was fresh and light, but the dressing was very mild and tasted mostly like oil and vinegar. I can see why this place gets attention for offering steak under $30, but personally I'd rather pay a little more for a leaner cut with less waste. Overall, it was a decent meal, but not one that left me wanting to come back.

Carbonara sauce seasoning & texture were right, and on-point, plenty cheese and bacon. Good amount of black pepper to enhance tastes of all of the above. Happy experience :)

I felt like a burrito with chunks of meat in it, which led me to their Roasted Steak menu item. I ordered it with every topping available and requested the hottest spice level. It's fine. There's absolutely nothing within it that blew my mind, but I happily ate the concoction down to the last bite. I will say, though, that the Roasted Steak turned out to be tasteless pulled meat, so that was a little disappointing. And the spice level was far from extreme, unfortunately. I did appreciate that guacamole was provided free of charge. It's a little ridiculous that the majority of burrito joints charge an extra couple of bucks for the stuff, so kudos to you, Fat Bastard, for bucking that dumb, cash-grabbing trend.

It was great to hear a new burger place was coming to Liberty Village, and their burgers are great. The fried chicken sandwich, when its served properly (ala my first taste) is kilometers above the one from Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A. In size, the girth and quality of the chicken is top notch. Their lemon meringue pie as well- delicious. The problems came though when I raved about this place to my friends visiting from out of town. We ordered both the beef and chicken burgers. The beef burgers are supposed to come with a cheese crisp, however this time the cheese crisp was well over burnt, it was black in some areas. The fried chicken sandwich as well - our pieces were composed of a majority of batter, and some fat was on the chicken breast as opposed to our first try which was all pure meat. Because of this, the ranking is 4/5 due to a lack of consistency.
