Tried out most of the items on their menu and this place is a definite must try for fried chicken fans. My favourite are the sandwiches and their wings. The chicken is very crispy, juicy and packed with flavour. Their hot sauce is hotter than I like but tasted good. Their chicken. Wings are cooked fresh and needs lots of time to cool down before eating it. It's well worth the wait because its cooked perfectly. I recommend using a fork.

I got the OG combo and ohhh boy. The sandwich was BIG. The slaw paired so well and their hot sauce had a decent kick (I got hot). The chicken was so crispy while being extremely juicy on the inside. Haven't had curly fries in a long time, they were delicious as well.

Love the spice options and the service! So friendly and considerate. I was splitting a burger and couldn't decide between the different spice so they did half and half.

Unfortunately so incredibly bland. My god. I ordered the Crispy Chick and was expecting to be hit with flavour. Instead the best way I can describe what I got was salty and almost watery. I think they must try to mask the lack of flavour with the spicy glaze. The mayo-based sauce was also tasteless. The best thing was the bun. The atmosphere is awesome, staff is great... just the product is lacking. The chicken recipe needs a complete overhaul.

Solid cheap eats on Ossington. The fried chicken sandwich was SUPER juicy but I think it was slightly overpriced for the size. By the time I got to the end, I found the flavour a little boring. Curly fries were great.

New place and definitely a spot to try for a spicy chicken sandwich if you're in the West end. Spacious, has a few tables on the side for dine in, washroom and quick service. The OG burger itself was pretty good. Chicken was tender and the hot sauce which tastes like Frank's, gives it a nice zing. Got the hot and it was like a medium spice level. Overall not bad but for the price I would go to Chen chens or Dave's. That's not to say this place isn't good, the curly fries are a great touch. I believe the meat is dark so that's why it's much more juicier than your typical white breast. Bun is soft and the slaw was okay - tbh a creamy one may have been better to offset the Frank's tanginess already. Overall not a bad place to try, 3.5.

Hot chicken on Ossington? I'll take it. If you're in the mood to chomp on some fried bird, this is a spot worth checking out. The market for Nashville-style hot chicken is pretty fierce in Toronto. Dave's, Chen Chen's, Five Point; you have options. Ghost Chicken carves out its own space with nuggets and dipping sauce, in addition to offering the staples (chicken sandwich, pieces, etc...). The place goes hard on the branding, which is front and centre of the experience. Sleek walls, a well designed logo which takes up the height of the wall. It looks polished, but the emphasis on the brand makes it feel a bit takeouty. The chicken itself is good! I wouldn't say it's better than its competitors. The fry is a bit dark, the spice is a bit underwhelming (even with the OG Fire), the chicken to batter ratio is a bit too friendly towards the latter on the nuggets, but it's a solid snack. Good luck!

Ghost Chicken, a fried chicken restaurant just opened their flagship in the heart of Toronto's Ossington strip. Their fried chicken is SCARY GOOD - crispy & crunchy while juicy inside. All the ingredients are homemade, from the sauces, slaws, and fries. The chicken is halal as well. Beware of their Nashville Fried chicken‼ The ghost pepper seasoning is spicy and make your tongue numb, YUM. Featured: The OG - thick fried chicken, dill cream, slaw, with OG sauce. You can choose your heat from mild, hot, or fire. Their very own OG sauce is delicious!! Nashville Hot - fried chicken thigh, Nashville spice blend & oil, sweet pickles. Lollipops - Fried chicken drumsticks Fried Chicken Bites - fried chicken thigh, spice blend, dipping sauce honey mustard & dill crema Curly Fries - are good but with the honey mustard dip even better. We love how crispy it was; moreover, the fried chicken was so THICK and JUICY. The buns are slap - buttery, soft bread. Don't skip on adding their homemade Honey Mustard dipping sauce on the side, so good. The slaw in the OG gives a perfect balance and nice texture. Curly fries are so unique! Not many fried chicken joint offers it, totally a killer. If you haven't tried Ghost Chicken, you gotta do it soon! The restaurant is spacious enough for you and your friends! Or grab them for a picnic at Trinity Bellwoods as the weather is warmer!

Located in this hipster neighborhood at Queen and Ossington is Ghost Chicken. Got three of the regular wings. The wings were a good size, meaty and juicy. It was cooked to perfection. You get a choice of dipping sauce, I got the dill. The wings taste really good and not too salty. I want to come back and try the spicy wings.

This is a relatively new spot on Ossington that serves chicken sandwiches. Tried the OG, and the sandwich itself was pretty good. The chicken was juicy and tender, as it was a dark meat cut, plus the sauce on the chicken was a 10/10. The price ($11) is a bit much for a small sandwich, but it's definitely a place to check out if you're ever in the area!

There are benches outside and counters where you can stand and eat, giving it a casual, quick-stop kind of vibe. It's also part market, so you can browse a selection of goodies while you're there. I tried the Antico Parma sandwich and it was delicious--definitely a spot I'd go out of my way for again. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

I got 3 sandwiches for me and my family (4 people including me). What we ordered: Mona Lisa: 8/10 For both of the sandwiches the bread was very fresh and delicious! They make them fresh for each order and you can taste the quality. The flavours in the Mona Lisa worked really well together, I loved the truffle cream and burrata. Torino: 7/10 This sandwich was also good, but the I felt like it was lacking something, especially compared to the mona lisa. The spicy eggplant just tasted like plain pickled eggplant and wasn't that spicy. I feel like both sandwiches were a bit salty due to the prosciutto, and were missing some sweet or acidic element. I added some balsamic glaze and hot honey at home which was great! The portion sizes are HUGE, the 4 of us were quite full after splitting the 3.

I only stepped into the…read morerestaurant to glance over the menu and within seconds I was making a purchase because the old happy man was too chummy to refuse. And it pains me to write this review about the bad quality of their entrees. I've been to Naomi twice. The first time I bought the Salmon bibimbap and the second time I bought the Chicken teriyaki. The pictures looked really really good so I opted for them, but both dishes were disgusting. I was really thrown off by how quickly they were able to prepare both dishes. Under 5 minutes?!?! It seemed almost too good to be true. When I opened the container and took the first bite of the meat, I fully understood why. Naomi uses canned meats. For some people, this is okay, but I really could not stand how "plastic" the chicken felt. The meats weren't even seasoned, rather covered in mediocre sauces. The teriyaki sauce wasn't even teriyaki sauce... it was a transluscent orange with a syrupy consistency. The bibimbap was also poorly done. There was no sunny side up egg, and the only veggies consisted of bland bean sprouts, overcooked carrots, and boiled spinach. Although, the "gochujang" sauce was not bad. However, my friends have all claimed that Naomi's sandwiches are extremely tasty, but after my two bad experiences, I'm probably not going to come back. TLDR: don't get any entrees. Stick with the cafe classics.
