Our experience with NJ HVAC & Plumbing has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable.
We contacted American Home Shield (AHS) regarding an issue with our shower, and they assigned NJ HVAC & Plumbing to handle the repair.
A technician came to our home, inspected the shower, and informed us that a pipe needed to be replaced. Fair enough. We expected the company to follow up and complete the necessary repairs.
That was the last we heard from them!
No follow-up. No updates. No repairs. Absolutely NOTHING!
We have contacted American Home Shield repeatedly, and even AHS has been unable to reach this company. How does a company accept a service assignment, visit a customer's home, identify the problem, and then simply disappear?
The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is appalling.
After experiencing this firsthand and reading other negative reviews, I am seriously questioning the reliability and professionalism of this business.
But here's my bigger question: How does American Home Shield continue sending this company into people's homes when there are complaints about its service and follow-through?
At what point does AHS take responsibility for the contractors they hire to represent them?
These contractors are giving American Home Shield a bad name, and AHS is allowing its own reputation to suffer by continuing to associate with companies that deliver this level of service.
We pay American Home Shield for a home warranty because we expect reliable service and qualified professionals when something goes wrong in our home. Instead, we're left with an unresolved plumbing issue, unanswered calls, and two companies that have failed to provide a satisfactory resolution.
Frankly, I am thoroughly disgusted with BOTH companies!
NJ HVAC & Plumbing for its complete lack of follow-through and communication, and American Home Shield for failing to ensure that the contractors they send into customers' homes actually complete the job.
This experience has been so disappointing that we are seriously considering canceling our American Home Shield contract altogether.
My advice to potential customers: Proceed with extreme caution when dealing with NJ HVAC & Plumbing.
A reputable service company should communicate with its customers, honor its commitments, and take responsibility for completing the work it accepts.
Based on our experience, NJ HVAC & Plumbing has failed on all three counts.
NJ HVAC & Plumbing, where is the accountability? And American Home Shield, how can you continue assigning contractors who leave your paying customers in situations like this?
Both companies need to do better. This is completely unacceptable! read more
