The company looks out for the best interests of the consumer, and honors courtesy, fairness and fair dealing above all else. Case in point when a faulty heater was installed years ago by another outfit. The owner Tim documented the issues, and problem solving attempts, and was able to navigate a warranty replacement with the manufacturer, and provide a speedy installation of a new heater at a reasonable cost. Steve the service person was knowledgeable courteous and explained what he found and what he did. I had a home purification system out in and he replaced a leaking collection canister. He also changed the HVAC filters on the routine maintenance also made suggestions on what he thought that was needed to make the system better. Our A/C wasn't working. I called TEMCO, and Steve came out within a few days (it wasn't an emergency.). He diagnosed the problem, told me it's under our warranty, so they just need to call it in and then let us know when they will make said repairs. It was a few days, I had to follow up three times (I'm not their only customer, and it was their busy season.). I heard back from Tim and he arrived with the parts a couple days later and made the necessary repairs. They did our A/C install 9 years ago, and we've been happy with it. Previous service calls have been few and response time has been quicker. I've recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. read more

They are the best contractor I have done business with ever. I developed a waterpan leak in my A/C, which was dripping through my LR ceiling quickly. Tempco was referred to me by friend. I called at 9:30am and spoke with Joe in office. Steve, the extremely knowledgeable tech returned call in 20 minutes. And by 4:30pm, he was here and problem fixed. My downstairs AC zone was not running and Temco responded the same day by sending in an incredibly knowledgeable and thorough technician. Initially the problem seemed to be minor, however after troubleshooting the outside blower by isolating power to each component separately, the tech had discovered the compressor was bad and a full system replacement was recommended. The tech did not take this recommendation lightly, and even had the Temco manager stop by to confirm his findings. After discussing options and payment, we elected to go with the recommended system replacement which was performed the very next day. Called my usual a/c people that I have had for over 10 years. I forgot to send in my maintenance contract with my check, so when I called to tell them my upstairs air wasn't working (they put it in) they told me they couldn't get to me until July. Are u serious. I guess loyalty means nothing without money. Anyway, called Temco because of the great reviews. They came that day and fixed the a/c. Don't bother calling unless you live within a couple miles of their office. I first contacted them 2 weeks ago about a central air conditioning replacement. It took the owner Tim 5 days to get back to me. When he spoke to me he said he would have someone get back to me. After a week of waiting I called back and left a message. He called me within an hour and asked me the same exact questions as if we hadn't spoken a week earlier. I patiently gave him the info and he once again said someone would get back to me. 6 hours later somebody calls me back and says they are extremely busy and I am outside their service area. (I live about 15 miles away which I wouldn't think is unreasonable.) So I said my replacement isn't urgent as my system still functions but is 24 years old and I'm willing to wait until they're not busy. The guy says he will talk to Tim and he will call me back. Of course Tim did not call me back. If Tim didn't want the business why didn't he tell me up front 9 days ago so I could have found another company that wants the business? Instead he chose not to call me back the first time and then the second time he didn't even bother to let me know himself. Good luck to you if you choose to do business with this company. read more

Temco is amazing. We bought our house in Nov of 2017 and had to call them to come check out a thermostat that wasn't working right. George took time to explain everything and we were so impressed with our first meeting we decided to hire them to install a central AC unit in our basement. Tim has been honest and reliable through the entire process. We have now used them to vent our dryer, stove, and have had them come out to help us with our existing AC unit on the main floor. Tim also helped us figure out another issues with our garage apartment and said he would coordinate with our plumber but told me not to stress, the house is coming together and it will all get figured out. We just had central air installed in our home in Oradell. We were extremely pleased with Tim and his team of guys. They were reliable, efficient, and honest. They did not try to oversell their units and came up with ideas to install the ductwork by going through the walls, instead of using up limited closet space in our 1930s house. They quickly phoned back and were helpful with all of our questions. They took care of all permitting and were extremely careful. It was muddy, slushy, snowy weather when they did the installation, and there was not one speck of dirt throughout our house b/c they laid down covering and protection throughout the house. All ducts in ceiling were drilled and vacuumed as the guys drilled, so no dust went anywhere. I recommended them to two people in my town, we couldnt be happier. read more
