Back on June 22, 2024 during one of the many heat waves we had last summer (it was close to 100 degrees) my A/C stopped working. It was Saturday evening at 6 pm when I called Temco. I spoke to the answering service and they told me they would give me a call to let me know when they could get to me for the repair. They were backed up with many calls so I wasn't sure when they would be able to come. Instead of a phone call they arrived at 8 am Sunday morning to repair my A/C. They had one of the parts with them which got the unit started but needed another part which they needed from the warehouse which was closed until Monday. They said they would look in the office to see if they happened to have the part there. Sure enough within an hour they were back with the part and completed the repair. I used Temco in the Spring of 2014 to have central air conditioning installed in our new home. Both Tim and George were extremely helpful in explaining the process and what would work best for our house set up. We had estimates from other companies that were astronomical and the type of system they wanted to install would have not have looked esthetically pleasing in our living room. Temco found a solution that would be the most efficient and cool. The company was fast, reliable and efficient. They were in and out in less than 2 days- and I would never have known they were there except now my house was cool! They covered all our furniture while doing the work and even vacuumed when they completed the project. Even the owner of the company-Tim was there -not just supervising but doing work himself. Temco has provided us with great peace of mind.  Hiring an HVAC contractor can be a scary process because of all the things you just don't know about that goes into the job.  They do exceptional work and are always a very professional team.  We used them in our old home to upgrade our system. Just moved to the area and had an AC leak on my ceiling. Read the Montvale Community Network reviews and TEMCO was a local favorite with good reason. I loved the entire team! I told them my goal was to get thru the summer before I replace the entire AC system during off season and he was able to do just that. Honest assessment did not try to upsell me and took time to give me tutorial on how system works and fixed the immediate leak issue, replaced filters, and washed down outside unit to get me thru the summer. Our A/C wasn't working. I called TEMCO, and Steve came out within a few days (it wasn't an emergency.). He diagnosed the problem, told me it's under our warranty, so they just need to call it in and then let us know when they will make said repairs. It was a few days, I had to follow up three times (I'm not their only customer, and it was their busy season.). I heard back from Tim and he arrived with the parts a couple days later and made the necessary repairs. They did our A/C install 9 years ago, and we've been happy with it. Previous service calls have been few and response time has been quicker. I've recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. read more

Wonderful company, and Tim goes above and beyond. We had an issue with our heat during a bad snow and ice storm. When PSE&G said they could not do anything for us, Tim quickly answered our call and was at our house within a half an hour. He not only fixed the problem, but discovered that our unit was installed incorrectly. He contacted our original installer for us, stayed at our house until the installer arrived, and made sure that we were taken care of. Again, he went above and beyond! Dealing with hvac problems in the middle of an ice storm with two small kids is not fun, but glad he helped us out so much. read more

We had seen the TEMCO trucks in our neighborhood and called them for a quote. The owner Tim was responsive and honest. After receiving 3 quotes in total, we went with TEMCO and were happy we did so. We were most impressed that he recommended the type of A/C unit that made sense for our home, versus other companies who upsold us unecessarily. The work was done on time and professionally. I shopped around for estimates when I needed a second floor heat and ac system. Tim gave me a fair and honest estimate that was half the price of another one; saving me $10,000. He was more accurate in terms of the most efficient way to cool the house, taking into account the layout and design. The results were perfect. Cooling and Heating are quick, effective, and keep the energy bill reasonable. Tim was also very help with follow-up questions and responsive when I needed quick help with the system. read more

This is the second time I have used Temco in the past several months. Over the summer both of my air conditioning units started malfunctioning. This week my furnace started emitting an unusual odor. Based on a friend's recommendation I called Temco. They were incredibly responsive, here within the hour. My first exposure to Temco was when all of my contractors rebuilding The Iron Horse kept telling me there was only one company to hire for a complete revamp of our HVAC systems. Temco is a very reliable company. Tim is very responsive to your phone calls and your needs for your home. We have had central air replaced by temco , everything went as planned and if we ever had a issue they were very quick to come to our home and fix the problem. They are literally wonderful. Our Air conditioning wasn't working right in the middle of a heat wave.
