I highly recommend TEMCO for all your heating and air conditioning needs. Tim Prusha and his entire team are true professionals who consistently go above and beyond for their customers. They are reliable, responsive, and always there when you need them. A special thank you to Billy Farrell, who recently came out to repair the air conditioning system at my office. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything clearly, and had it fixed in no time. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. The personality, respect, and dedication that Tim and his team bring to their work speak volumes about why their company is so successful. It's refreshing to work with a company that genuinely cares about providing excellent service. If you're looking for an HVAC company you can trust, TEMCO is the one to call. What sets TEMCO apart from others is the character of the ownership and management. The company looks out for the best interests of the consumer, and honors courtesy, fairness and fair dealing above all else. Case in point when a faulty heater was installed years ago by another outfit. The owner Tim documented the issues, and problem solving attempts, and was able to navigate a warranty replacement with the manufacturer, and provide a speedy installation of a new heater at a reasonable cost. It's comforting to do business with a company of high ethical character. I also admire a local company that invests in teaching and training local young talent so one day they can serve their communities with the same skill and adherence to the high standards of ethical responsibility of the current ownership. read more

Recently contacted Temco regarding our AC not cooling. This was during a several day heat wave when our AC stopped cooling. The owner visited after dinner, even though they were backed up with other calls. He helped us resolve the issue. I would highly recommend Temco read more

Quick prompt service. Tim is great and fixed my problem within five minutes. Would definitely use him in the future if needed.

I'm happy to review Tim, Steve and Joe at TEMCO, and highly recommend their services. We've used them for both our AC and furnace needs and they're really the best contractors we work with. Super friendly, super responsive (always seem to call back same day to my email/phone call), and most importantly get the job done right. They maintain our AC and furnace annually and when we did need to have a the furnace replaced (due to its age), they did so at a fair price and replaced it as quickly as we could've hoped. Five stars all the way around, and I'd absolutely expect them to treat you with great attention and care as they've treated us. read more

They are literally wonderful. Our Air conditioning wasn't working right in the middle of a heat wave. Truly great customer service and they genuinely care about their clients. Highly highly recommen!!!!! read more

Just moved to the area and had an AC leak on my ceiling. Read the Montvale Community Network reviews and TEMCO was a local favorite with good reason. I loved the entire team! I told them my goal was to get thru the summer before I replace the entire AC system during off season and he was able to do just that. Honest assessment did not try to upsell me and took time to give me tutorial on how system works and fixed the immediate leak issue, replaced filters, and washed down outside unit to get me thru the summer. They were friendly and lightened up my stressful day with a few laughs along the way. Huge thank you to the TEMCO team! You are my guys now going forward :) read more

Steve the service person was knowledgeable courteous and explained what he found and what he did. I had a home purification system out in and he replaced a leaking collection canister. He also changed the HVAC filters on the routine maintenance also made suggestions on what he thought that was needed to make the system better. I was more than pleased with the service and Incan highly recommended to anyone looking for an HVAC company in Bergen County. These guys are pro's and they are punctual and keep their appointments. read more

Our A/C wasn't working. I called TEMCO, and Steve came out within a few days (it wasn't an emergency.). He diagnosed the problem, told me it's under our warranty, so they just need to call it in and then let us know when they will make said repairs. It was a few days, I had to follow up three times (I'm not their only customer, and it was their busy season.). I heard back from Tim and he arrived with the parts a couple days later and made the necessary repairs. They did our A/C install 9 years ago, and we've been happy with it. Previous service calls have been few and response time has been quicker. I've recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. read more

They are the best contractor I have done business with ever. I developed a waterpan leak in my A/C, which was dripping through my LR ceiling quickly. Tempco was referred to me by friend. I called at 9:30am and spoke with Joe in office. Steve, the extremely knowledgeable tech returned call in 20 minutes. And by 4:30pm, he was here and problem fixed. He explained to my son how to avoid it happening again. As an 80yr old with severe heart problems, being able to turn A:C back on so quick was wonderful. M. Hamlin. read more

Fantastic service! Tim is honest, responsive, friendly and professional. We called Temco when our ancient furnace broke during a stretch of extremely cold weather in January. Spoke to Tim at 8:30am and had a new furnace fully installed by 2pm the same day. Temco provided a quality unit at a competitive price. The crew worked quickly and efficiently, providing a clean installation. Would highly recommend Temco for HVAC service. read more

These guys are fantastic. We've used them for work on our heating system, thermostat, mini splits, and to install a dehumidifier. They could not have been more friendly, courteous and professional. They do great work, they stand by their work, and they show up. Steve and Tim and the rest of their team are awesome. Highest possible recommendation. read more

My downstairs AC zone was not running and Temco responded the same day by sending in an incredibly knowledgeable and thorough technician. Initially the problem seemed to be minor, however after troubleshooting the outside blower by isolating power to each component separately, the tech had discovered the compressor was bad and a full system replacement was recommended. The tech did not take this recommendation lightly, and even had the Temco manager stop by to confirm his findings. After discussing options and payment, we elected to go with the recommended system replacement which was performed the very next day. Super fast response, clear communication, great service, great results. read more

Called my usual a/c people that I have had for over 10 years. I forgot to send in my maintenance contract with my check, so when I called to tell them my upstairs air wasn't working (they put it in) they told me they couldn't get to me until July. Are u serious. I guess loyalty means nothing without money. Anyway, called Temco because of the great reviews. They came that day and fixed the a/c. Talk about great service without a maintenance contract. They get my loyalty now not O'Neill a/c in Bergenfield. Temco is the best. read more

Temco is absolutely fabulous and so easy to work with. I am a new homeowner and had a broken AC. They replaced my AC within a week of calling. I called them back for help with a small glitch and they came with no hesitation . Along with helping the glitch they installed my thermostat too. They are not only reliable, but very friendly and personal. I will continue recommend this company to anyone in need. Very professional and committed to service type of company. read more

Don't bother calling unless you live within a couple miles of their office. I first contacted them 2 weeks ago about a central air conditioning replacement. It took the owner Tim 5 days to get back to me. When he spoke to me he said he would have someone get back to me. After a week of waiting I called back and left a message. He called me within an hour and asked me the same exact questions as if we hadn't spoken a week earlier. I patiently gave him the info and he once again said someone would get back to me. 6 hours later somebody calls me back and says they are extremely busy and I am outside their service area. (I live about 15 miles away which I wouldn't think is unreasonable.) So I said my replacement isn't urgent as my system still functions but is 24 years old and I'm willing to wait until they're not busy. The guy says he will talk to Tim and he will call me back. Of course Tim did not call me back. If Tim didn't want the business why didn't he tell me up front 9 days ago so I could have found another company that wants the business? Instead he chose not to call me back the first time and then the second time he didn't even bother to let me know himself. Good luck to you if you choose to do business with this company. read more

Temco is amazing. We bought our house in Nov of 2017 and had to call them to come check out a thermostat that wasn't working right. George took time to explain everything and we were so impressed with our first meeting we decided to hire them to install a central AC unit in our basement. Tim has been honest and reliable through the entire process. We have now used them to vent our dryer, stove, and have had them come out to help us with our existing AC unit on the main floor. Tim also helped us figure out another issues with our garage apartment and said he would coordinate with our plumber but told me not to stress, the house is coming together and it will all get figured out. And he is right! We can't rec Temco enough! read more

TEMCO was recommended to me by a friend in town for an A/C install. Tim is the owner, he and his crew were polite and professional, showed up when they were supposed to, did what they promised. They were neat, too, cleaning up as they worked. They gave us the best estimate over others, by far. Tim was always available by cell phone, and any messages left were returned promptly. I am picky about contractors and would highly recommend TEMCO. read more

We just had central air installed in our home in Oradell. We were extremely pleased with Tim and his team of guys. They were reliable, efficient, and honest. They did not try to oversell their units and came up with ideas to install the ductwork by going through the walls, instead of using up limited closet space in our 1930s house. They quickly phoned back and were helpful with all of our questions. They took care of all permitting and were extremely careful. It was muddy, slushy, snowy weather when they did the installation, and there was not one speck of dirt throughout our house b/c they laid down covering and protection throughout the house. All ducts in ceiling were drilled and vacuumed as the guys drilled, so no dust went anywhere. I recommended them to two people in my town, we couldnt be happier. read more
