I was in town visiting my son from back east and needed a haircut. I have Asian hair so I'm a bit cautious about going to just any hair stylist. I was impressed that Niza responded to my request on the 4th of July. I took a chance and booked the appointment. Niza is a true professional. He listened to my request and did exactly as I requested. I'm happy to say that I found a new stylist and will definitely comeback the next time I'm in Phoenix. read more

What a Wonderful experience! From the fact that my stylist, Niza Lideo was there, & ready to work on my hair on time, but he is truly a professional and did a Beautiful, Glorious hairstyle by giving me the exact styling of my hair that I'd requested! Everyone loved it but more importantly... I LOVED it! Thanks Niza, I am SO glad I checked out the Rave reviews on Yelp regarding your service and I'm so glad you were able to get me in on that first Saturday that I'd requested. Guess the readers should know by now. I WILL BE RETURNING! :) Sherry B. read more

Niza was absolutely wonderful! His skill level and professionalism are unsurpassed! And he focuses on health and quality of hair!

Went on yelp, searched the top 10 Salons located closer to me and read everything about each and chose R Salon. Within R Salon's web page, each stylist has there photo and a Bio. I read through everyone of them and chose Niza. I made an appointment, he responded fairly fast and we had a phone consultation to make sure we were a good fit... seeing I was a new client. Morning of appointment I arrived on time. The Salon is very big, atmosphere very raw loft  like, everyone wearing mask, customers wearing mask, everything spread out to allow social distancing. All employees seem very nice, greeting me while I waited and offering something to drink. Niza was finishing up a client after which he sprayed and wiped down his station clean. We discussed my hair and he suggested some different ways to approach what I wanted, newer to me, more natural... so we went with the root touch-up and a Balayage. He was very was very detailed in his technique while being very personable. My hair came out AMAZING. (I forgot to take a photo, will take one next time). He knew I was smiling with joy behind my mask. Niza is an artist who creates Hair Fashion. Atmosphere: big roomy, following a business covid rules. Service: excellent. Quality of service: excellent read more

I don't know what Niza did but 2 weeks after my visit and my flat iron is still lasting in this heat. My hair has been exposed to heat, sweat, humidity, etc and it's still lasting. NIza is amazing! I haven't been to a hairstylist in years due to most hairstylists not knowing how to deal with black hair (4c). Searching around on Yelp for black/African American hair stylist I came across NIZALIDEO and searched for the review and instantly I knew not to look further. The reviews are all accurate he is amazing at what he does. I had great conversation with him, he's very warm and welcoming. Before my appointment he texted me to find out what my hair looked like (appreciated this a whole lot because he didn't just assume) , then he asked me what I wanted, found out my concerns and put my mind at ease. I am sooo grateful I found him. If you're looking for a great hair stylist please search no further. Just book him and you will not regret it. Until I move away, he's the only person I trust to do my hair from here on. read more

NIZALIDEO - The before and after- speaks for itself - Hair Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

It's more than just a haircut , it's an experience, hands down, best haircut I've ever had, fresh off the plane from Milwaukee.

Went to Niza twice this year; once to get my hair cut and blown out and the second to get my hair colored and highlighted. Both times I was in and out quick and I was able to get booked and squeezed in the first time with just a days notice. I also liked the fact that that I was able to do a free consult prior to my appointment. Made me feel more comfortable by getting to communicate about what I was envisioning and what Niza could do to achieve it. Niza does an amazing job taking care of my natural curly hair. I have received so many compliments after both styles. Highly recommended! read more

I recently moved here from California so finding a new hair stylist can be difficult and sometimes it's hard to tell who is comfortable with ethnic hair. However, Niza calmed my nerves and immediately made me feel like I made the right decision. He took his time and provided solid hair care advice to ensure I would be able to maintain the style...and OMG my color is gorgeous!! He also told me about things to do in the city, which was VERY helpful since I just moved here. That said, I think I just found my new stylist. read more

Niza is the best! I've been going to him for a couple of years now and I have always been pleased. As a male with longer hair, I'd suggest going to an expert like Niza rather than a barbershop. I am not one to write reviews often, however it is a rare occasion that one finds a brilliant stylist and colorist that is also an awesome human, and as much as I would love to keep him to myself, it would be a crime to withhold this from you. I got my hair colored by Niza and my co-workers raved about it. I love my color! Great job Niza!

Choosing Niza to color correct my hair is the best decision I've made! He was very friendly, hospitable, and transparent about his advice. Following an old balayage gone wrong from another salon, he took the red/blonde-ness out of my hair and toned the color down to a shade that complemented my skin tone. He took extra time at the end to style my hair and remoisturize my ends. My hair feels lighter yet fuller with layers and I could not be happier. On top of that, his prices are unbeatable and I did not once feel pressured in any way unlike so many professional salons I've been to. All in all, 11/10 experience and I'm so happy with my hair. Thank you, Niza!! Truly an amazing experience. read more

Recently I visited NizaLideo at R Salon. I am a curly-haired chic with 3b hair. I have met very few stylists who understand curly hair, let alone how to cut it without straightening it first. Niza is quite the curly-haired expert as I had many questions and was somewhat weary, but he was able to put that doubt to rest. In addition, he was able to explain what he was doing and why. I appreciate the close attention to detail he gave as he cut each individual curl to help define and shape my curls. I love the new shape of my curly coils. I highly recommend Niza if you are looking for a stylist who is professional, well trained, and takes pride in what he does. read more
