3 stars only because I was annoyed with the attitude given by the owner with wearing a mask. I thought we were over this, especially if your fully vaccinated, had to go back to my car 3 blocks away to get one because they wanted to charge me to buy one to wear. I believe it's all BS if they were really worried they would of asked to take my temperature when I mentioned I didn't add one to their form you will out and hand sanitize. Did neither. read more

Nitu brought my eyebrows back to life! I had been struggling to find someone to really listen to what I wanted for my eyebrows and came upon her great reviews on Yelp. I'm so glad I went to her and her ladies. Nitu did a consultation before any threading took place and discussed with me what was the best shape for my eyebrows. They stopped multiple times during the process to show me what was going on and made me feel so at ease during the whole process. Yay! I have FINALLY found my beauty salon! It has been difficult for me to find a place that does good threading and facial here. A sweet lady called Nitu threaded my eyebrows (which were spoilt by careless threading previously). She did a great job. For the first time in many months, I was happy to see how my brows looked. And about the facial- I was sick of getting these so called facials which never included a face massage or actually did anything ! But here, Nitu gave me a very good facial. She explained what she was doing and every step was done properly. She didn't rush. I could see the difference immediately after facial. Overall, this is a nice n clean place where you can expect great service. I will surely go back and I definitely recommend! read more

I've been coming to Nitu's Threading Salon for over a year now. I was looking for a new place to get my eyebrows done after having moved to the area. I happened to find this salon through Yelp and I'm so glad I did. The reviews seemed positive and I was glad to see that they were an accurate representation of the salon. The salon itself is very clean and the women that work there are very nice and well trained. They're always so fast with their services that I can be in and out quite quickly especially if i'm just getting my eyebrows done. Prices are very reasonable and there's ample street parking right outside the salon. read more

The first time I got my eyebrows done was at my cousin's salon down the shore when I was a teenager. I vividly remember her specifically telling me to never let anyone touch my eyebrows because they are on the thicker side and should stay that way. Since that day, I've been petrified to let anyone mess them up and make them too thin! I don't go to that salon anymore, so I've been tweezing them for most of my adult life. I have to admit that they weren't exactly completely symmetrical, but it wasn't that noticeable. Most people aren't that observant to these things anyway. I had this girl clean them up once for me and she did a good job, but she charged like $60! WTF. That is not a sustainable upkeep for me. One of the women at Nitu's, in the NICEST way possible, exclaimed at me, "You're eyebrows are MESSED Upppp!" Sometimes all you need is someone being extra honest to push you to do something that needs to be done (when I certified in scuba, my friend yelled at me to "STOP BEING A BABY" when I was having a hard time descending - needed that too!). They told me that tweezing causes wrinkles because of the repetitive skin pulling. WHAT?! They gave me this oil to use on my eyebrows to make them grow faster. This stage of the process was hell because you look like a hairy beast for a bit until the hair grows to be a normal length. I've stopped tweezing completely and am feeling way more confident about my eyebrows. They are looking amazing lately, and the price is so reasonable that I know I can afford to come every week. Lastly, the women at Nitu's are so nice! I'm usually rushing to get somewhere, and the music is so relaxing for these few minutes I'm here.. in and out, but they don't rush either. I tried another place in Lyndhurst before Nitu's and the people there didn't make me feel welcome or comfortable. It wasn't anything they said, more their demeanor. A M A Z I N G. Nitu is an EYEBROW GOD, literally. I have very, very, difficult eyebrows to sculpt, told by several threading artists, as well as, me, literally never being able to sculpt my eyebrows properly, because they grow so fast and are all over the place, BUT, NITU managed to make them beautiful! Every single time I go to her I feel like a whole new person, because she is truly so good at doing eyebrows. She KNOWS exactly how to do YOUR specific eyebrows, she takes her time and precisely attends to every single hair. I am so glad to have found you Nitu! My new threading spot! I went in prior to going to a wedding and I wanted a full face threading. She gave me the service with no hesitation. She also recommended me to have my side burns waxed instead of threaded since it was very thick to do. I gladly took her recommendation. I also warned her of my eyebrows and she already instantly knew my eyebrows were microbladed so took that into consideration when she cleaned up my eyebrows. What was great too was that everything was completely painless! She also made sure she didn't leave any spots undone and made sure I was overall satisfied with her job. So...for probably the past 6 years, I've been hoping and hoping a GOOD eyebrow threading salon would open in the area. I would have to travel either to passaic park or to new york to get my eyebrows threaded. I even traveled all the way to Hawthorne once when my "usual" lady went back to India. Presently I've been going to a salon in NYC. However recently, I randomly searched on Yelp for eyebrow threading salon and saw Nitu's Threading Salon with stellar reviews and rating and I had to check it out myself. Let me tell you... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my brows and every great thing you read on yelp is true about this place. My eyebrows were done by Dipka, and they haven't been threaded this well in years. I'm super happy. If you need a new place to get your eyebrows done and/or your usual lady, sucks, come here. *Sigh* Customer service is wonderful and the two ladies who work there are so sweet. They did great on my eyebrows as well. And, of course, it's super affordable compared to hair removal services in the city. BUT. I will never get a wax here again. I was overdue for a Brazilian wax and figured that they'd done such a good job on my brows that it'd be fine. I've been getting this type of wax done for about 3-4 years and have a pretty high pain tolerance. It wasn't fine. Midway through, she decided not to wear gloves. The wax got way, way too hot, but she only remembered half the time to let it cool down a bit before putting it on my skin, even though I mentioned several times that the heat was hurting me. My hair was pretty long (which most other wax techs have been able to deal with just fine), so she had to redo some areas, but with the wax so hot, I'm still sensitive more than 24 hours later. She even brought in the other staff member, so I had two people in the room pulling and poking me. It took more than half an hour, as opposed to the usual 15-20. And I got home and I still had lumps of wax in some areas! In my years of waxing, none of these things have ever happened to me. I'm not sure I'll be back. You are SO GOOD at threading, but please don't say you offer a service- especially one that puts hot liquid on and rips hair from women's most sensitive body parts- if you're not going to do it well. read more

Nito, (owner) & her employees are AMAZING. They clean your eye brows really well. They manage their time while working & know how to work w/ all different shaped eye brows. ITS ONLY $8!!!! Best eyebrow threading in Rutherford! Nitu's salon was really great and worth going to. She took me as a walk in and threaded my eyebrows into the perfect shape. Great prices and the place is brand new and very clean. Nitu knows what she is doing and is extremely sweet but also a true professional. I got a facial done here a couple of days ago and it was so effective, they customized my facial as per my requirements and I can see the glow after it's done. Very good experience and it's not too much expensive. Also the room was very clean and hygiene is also a good point to consider. I will keep going more often from now on. read more

I had Nitu thread my eyebrows and I Iiked how they look, however there were a few hairs that she missed and it was most likely because she was so busy. I guess you can't make an appointment with her for eyebrow threading, but I was lucky to get be able to have her thread my brows. Hopefully next time it won't be so rushed. read more

I have been to plenty of threading places throughout my life and many more in the New Jersey area. Finally after years I found a place that not only makes my eyebrows look on point but they do it in a way that's painless too! I'm somewhat sensitive and my eyes water during threading. Some people thread so roughly and it'll hurt so bad that I'll have to ask the person to pause and then continue after abit and grit my teeth through the entire time- but NOT here! They cleaned my eyebrows well and it stays that way for a longer period then my usual 2 weeks cap time to go back! I was genuinely surprised I found a place like this.
