I'm not even a beer girl (the thought of the taste of beer makes me instantly ill) but I've been driving past Nitty's for years and have been wanting to try it out because cider is better than beer. YEAH, I SAID IT! Service is great; the staff are friendly, they come by to pick up glasses, and pour well. We walked in and waited to be served and ended our tab with one flight and 2 pints. Sampling is done with small cups and they give about an ounce or more for you to taste. We sat outside and it's a pretty chill and lax environment. They have a photobooth inside. There's seating inside and outside. It's not a super loud or rowdy place (I went Saturday evening). The ciders themselves all reminded me of a dry white wine, but better. No sulphur headache or hangover the next day. The Jalepeno Carrot stood out to me amongst the list of mostly fruity ciders. It's like a spicy marg but not sweet. They rotate weekly so it's likely the next time you visit, there will be new flavors to try out! I would definitely come back here again. This was my first visit to Nitty's Cider and it was wonderful! It will definitely be in the rotation going forward! A nice little walk if you live in East Sacramento. The vibe is great, with skee ball and a photo booth and tons of it indoor and outdoor seating. Came here on Juneteenth before our bowling date and had an amazing time. The server was extremely personable and friendly and was knowledgeable about the drinks flavor profile. I love Nitty's Cider so much. This place is located near me so it is easy for me to get to. There's street parking but be mindful of the time limits and if you have to pay for parking. In addition to the great cider they offer, they have trivia nights and I LOVE how they have different food trucks there so you can enjoy a bite to eat as well as drink delicious cider! Attended a private party at Nitty's Cider. They have a small room off to the side that you can rent for private parties. The room is complete with several tables, about five arcade-type games, and a counter where the party hosts served some of their own food. There is also sinks available for easy cleanup. They also had a food truck outside with burgers and such. And of course, there were alcoholic and non-alcoholic cider available for purchase in the main area. I tried the flight of four different ciders. There were so many different flavors to choose from, I asked the guy at the counter to help recommend some good ones. LOVED the vibe at Nitty's Cider. There are a ton of ciders to choose from and a flight of 4 cost $12. Check their schedule on Instagram for food truck availability. They normally don't arrive until 2pm. Unfortunately they don't have a live music permit but it doesn't detract from their appeal. Parking can be a problem so uber/Lyft is an option to consider especially if you're drinking. The location is great. Right on the edge of East Sac and Mid town. There are many other restaurants, bars, and stores nearby. The only issue is the parking situation, it's mainly street parking which fills up near dinner. They have a game room and a photobooth! The service is great. The bartenders are friendly and fill up your drinks quickly. They have many unique cider flavors, some great and some not so good. Still a fun adventure to try their more uncommon flavors. The prices are about average. You can walk out of here with a couple drinks for under $20 which is pretty good in today's economy. The bathrooms were clean and so was the establishment. I gather most people don't have problems with either, however, and the food is always good quality. We tried Nitty's at an event and happen to be in the area. We wanted to check out their ciders so stopped by. Parking can be a bit tricky in the area as there are many restaurants and shops and houses. They have a large outdoor and indoor area as well as a bar to relax. The business is just like the many breweries in Sacramento area, with seating indoors and outdoors, plus games like skee-ball, however, instead of a beer menu, they have a large cider menu. Many of the cider flavors are fruit flavored, wine, and with fun names. There were 16 different pours to choose from when I went. They sold a flight of 4 for $12, a pint for $7.50, 1/2 pour for $5, and 5oz. pour for $3. There were so many good flavors to choose from and you can sample up to 2 flavors. I chose a flight of 4 in order to try different flavors - Tastes like Sangria (Sangria), Darling Nikki (raspberry lemonade), Watermelon Crawl (watermelon cucumber), and The Cider that Jane likes (lemon lavender). All of the flavors tasted really good, but I enjoyed the sangria cider the most. Of the flight, this is the order I liked them from most to least (although all were good) - sangria, watermelon, raspberry lemonade, and lemon lavender. I also tried the F*ck cancer (blackberry blueberry) and Guavecito (guava), which were both good. Nitty's Cider doesn't sell food, but they allow food at their place. When I went, there was a pop-up event by Hanai, who was selling Hawaiian food. I ordered the kalua plate which was delicious. They have different food vendors everyday and weekly events like trivia, music bingo, and free skee-ball. Check their IG to see which food vendors and events will be there. You can also bring your own growler for a cider fill up. In addition, Nitty's has a private room for private parties. We hosted our 5-year anniversary party there in June of this year with over 200 people in attendance. They handled it like the professionals they are and everyone had an amazing time. Cool spot for a game night outside of your house! I went with a party of 8 around 5:30 pm on a Saturday and I had no complaints. There was zero wait time despite the massive indoor space. They have a large selection of flavored hard ciders. I tried a few flavors, but the most memorable ones were the ones with hints of "rose" (yes, as in the flower). They were refreshing and perfectly sweet. Now, what made the experience unforgettable was that they had so many games: board games, indoor basketball hoop, and even an arcade claw machine (my husband won me a stuffed octopus)! They also had a Photo Booth inside that was working and we got to take photos to take home :) The staff was great! I was in the area waiting for a family member, and decided to try out Nitty's Cider! I've been wanting to try this place out and finally gotten a chance too! The moment I walked in I was immediately greeted by the beertender. I like how open taproom is. When it gets busy, it wouldn't feel like your in the crowd. The beertender let me sample some of the cider's before I ordered one. All of the ciders tasted great! I was surprise that these ciders weren't too sweet, I would warn though that these ciders and strong, and I could definitely feel some of the effects after one drink, and I have a high tolerance for alcohol. We tried a bunch of flavors. All of them were very good and well thought out when created. My wife and I like cider's so we thought the place was great. I visited Nitty's Cider for a trivia night and some cider and especially enjoyed the ambiance. When we arrived there was the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for the outdoor seating. They had lots of long comfy shaded picnic tables that were kept cool by the many misters they had installed. The misters worked so well, in fact, that when they were finally turned off everyone outside cheered because they had become quite cold from the mist. There was also a food truck so we were able to get some delicious carne asada fried for the table in addition to our cider. Nitty has a wide selection of craft ciders. We purchased two different flights of cider and asked the bartender to fill up the glasses with some of his favorites. In retrospect, I should have been more specific about what I liked because I didn't love the one's he ended up choosing but it was still fun trying all the different flavors. The trivia was ok.
