Came on a Friday night. I thought it would be a little busy but it wasn't So many ice creams to choose from, they also have drinks, and little popsicles. I got the banana and lavender which was actually pretty good. I didn't like the big chucks of lavender in it. The only part that I didn't like was as the cashier was really rude. I was asking her questions because it was my first time there and she was just drawing on her little notepad. But all it all it was pretty decent. Seating inside and out.

Checked this place out during Coachella weekend. It was pretty busy right before closing. We didn't have to wait a little for our order but not too long. They had tables inside for seating and very limited outdoor seating. The ice cream was as expected and satisfied my cravings but nothing special.

This boutique ice cream place in a really nice restaurant shopping area that had the hanging lights everywhere. Kind of place you relax at after dinner. They offer great options like date ice cream, and pistachio vanilla. I'm a sucker for anything with dates in it, so I love it when an ice cream place offers that. Really cute inside the staff were wonderful.

Loved this place. Kids had the banana lavender and the salted caramel. Lots of seating, no restroom, and quick service. I was so happily surprised to see $.25 toppings. I don't know the last time I saw a price like that!

We stumbled upon this place while strolling along Old Town Quinta. Kids wanted some ice cream to cool down in the heat. Jenny greeted us as we enter the business. So many options to choose from menu. My daughter picked simple flavor as vanilla with sprinkles on top and my son had the watermelon sorbet. So delicious! Prices were really reasonable. All fresh ingredients made for your enjoyment. We were able to see the process of ice cream being made. Very intriguing! Next door you were able to sit down in the ac to enjoy your ice cream. Really calm and quiet area. Will definitely return if I'm in the area.

I really love the pistachio with olive oil flavor. It's better than normal ice cream. It's not overly heavy pistachio tasting-- almost more sweet cream. The texture is light but compacted. Imagine ice cream cake but much lighter. The ladies who helped us were very nice and described the method upon us entering. There's seating inside and outside to accommodate different sized parties. I love ice cream always, but I dunno, I really liked and appreciated this flavor and the way it was made had to be the reason why I liked it so much. Would definitely go again!

A fun cold treat during the hot desert months. I don't have a big sweet tooth but even this ice cream caught my attention and was a must try while in downtown La Quinta. The concept is fun and the ice cream is definitely tasty. Located in downtown La Quinta it's not hard to find this spot. There is usually plenty of parking behind the shops if the primary lot in the front is full. Walkable from any of the restaurants really if you are craving dessert. The ice cream here is unique as it's made fresh before you and the flavors are creative and fun. My friend had lavender banana ice cream and I indulged in the strawberry cheesecake flavor. We both agreed they were tasty and a 5/5. Creamy yet not too heavy. One to two scoops is definitely enough though. The waffle cones also tasted fresh. Only docked a star as the ice cream parlor itself is kind of small and during the summer it gets packed. A little stuffy if you are inside and only enough space to have one group eat inside. Otherwise really everyone has to go outside which during the summer months can be brutal and the ice cream will melt fast. At least though they do provide a few tables and chairs outside so you don't have to necessarily take it to go. Also I wish they mixed in the add ons that come with some of the ice cream. They top the ice cream with add one which makes it hard to eat and messy. For example, my strawberry cheesecake ice cream was supposed to come with sliced strawberries and a syrup but with a cone and being outside in the sun I knew there would be lots of spillage. Not ideal so I had to opt to remove those toppings. If they could mix it in that would surely be an upgrade. Otherwise the ice cream flavors are good enough on their own that you'll be happy but definitely wish I could have tried the few flavors that come with toppings more conveniently.

Fun ice cream experience! Great ice cream, unique flavors and fun to watch it being made. Ice cream is very rich, but tasty. Would recommend getting a couple different flavors and splitting amongst your group.

I have been to many an ice cream parlor, but Nitro Infusions is more than your typical ice cream parlor. At Nitro infusions, the ice cream is hand made right before your eyes using liquid nitrogen. The staff is extremely friendly and explains everything they're doing, but, best of all, their ice cream is the bomb! They have many different flavors that include toppings; my favorite is the salted caramel. If you are ever in the La Quinta or Palm Desert area, I highly recommend taking a visit to Nitro Infusions! read more

Tiny store offering just a few flavors. I would come back for the novelty factor of having your ice cream made in front of you. The liquid cream is whipped with liquid nitrogen to produce a creamy ice cream. Found it very similar to Cold Stone Creamy texture. Most are vanilla flavoring but I chose strawberry cheesecake. It's pretty good. It just wasn't my type of good... I may be a little too used to creamistry. I got the banana lavender and it tasted very fresh and interesting to say the least. It kind of reminded me of the masks you get at LUSH... For the price you pay I think you get a good amount of ice cream. This place is definitely worth trying out at least once, especially with the weather in this area being over 88 degrees constantly.... everyone needs an ice cream break. Going back for seconds though? I personally would not. read more

Came into the store super excited about a Gelato especially in such heat. I ended up ordering a chocolate espresso gelato which came out great. I enjoyed watching the employees make the gelato as well as eating it was quite as spectacular! One of the most enjoyable gelatos I've ever had! read more

For my first experience seeing this, it's a cool process. Also, the flavors taste authentic. I got the banana lavender milkshake and it was yummy (slight hints of lavender, but the banana flavors were definitely more prominent). It's a chill spot for the super hot weather, so I came back and I also got the cookies n cream milkshake and it was surprisingly not too sweet- very good! I'd definitely recommend to stop in for a treat if you are close or in the area. Two thumbs up! read more

This pace is pretty cool and no I am not trying to fit that pun in. They make it all to order and the flavors run the gamut from interesting (Nutella Shakes) to vanilla and chocolate. It is a fun process to watch and they take good care in making their food in a good clean environment. The kids love it and so does the sweet tooth of my wife. Go with the family or on a date night. It's worth it. read more

I have never seen anything like this! The ice cream was delicious and the experience just made it that much better! I had an affogato with chocolate ice cream. They showed my friends and I all the steps in making the ice cream with the liquid nitrogen which was awesome! Highly recommend for a quick snack while in down town La Quinta! read more

We ate here several times during our week long vacation! Always busy, but always worth the wait. The green tea lavender was amazing! We also loved the raspberry delight with chocolate! The ice cream here is epic! The novelty of making ice cream with liquid nitrogen is fabulous but it is the taste, flavor and texture of the ice cream that keeps me and my family coming back for the past few years we have lived in the Cove. I will mention the only negative (though not much of a negative) is that though at times we have come in several times a week for years as a blended family of five, each time we come in the gentleman asks us if this is our first time coming in as if he has never seen us before. It has become a running joke in our family. read more

Although a bit expensive, the experience and quality at Nitroinfusions is exceptional. The ice cream flavored are unique and delicious. I tried the chocolate espresso and my boyfriend had the mocha ice cream. Both were great, but on a side note, don't have the espresso late at night if you're caffeine sensitive (it's not decaf ). The staff is kind, and the overall experience of watching your ice cream frozen in front of you is very fun! Overall, a great place and one of my new dessert run favorites. read more

Always delicious and fresh. The kids love to pick their flavor and watch them create each to order. My ten year old says, "When the mist fills the area it's like watching a mad scientist in his lab creating ice cream!!" Take your kids! It's a great time and a healthier option in ice cream. They deserve multiple Michelin awards if it existed in the states! The most amazing ice cream ever and to think I almost didn't try it! I was "iffy" about some of the flavor combinations written on the wall and decided to try one I would never see back home- banana lavender. It blew my mind. It was absolutely delicious and creamy. They are the masters of "ice creamistry". I'm convinced the owner must have went to cal tech or mit. Their idea of using liquid nitrogen to make such unique ice cream combinations is genius. read more

Don't miss this place when you're visiting La Quinta! They make the ice cream in a bowl right in front of you with real cream and liquid nitrogen to freeze it down. The result is creamy and perfect ice cream. I had the chocolate espresso, and it was delicious! The owners are very friendly and describe what they're doing while they make your ice cream. read more

This place is dangerously good! I love coming here post dinner while in Old Town La Quinta. The ice creams are delicious and entertaining to watch being made as well. The kids that I see come in, always get a kick out of how it's made. I think it gives off that "mad scientist" kinda touch to when making the ice cream. Whenever I visit, I typically get a Cookies n' Cream shake with malt and whip cream. It is more of a liquid state than most shakes, but that's what makes it so good. Then I don't have to wait until it's melts a little before I can drink it. I also have had the Pistachio and Olive Oil (odd combo I originally thought) it is extremely addicting. The chocolate is good as well. It's a great little ice cream shop to visit if in the area. read more

The last 2 times I've been here I was disappointed. You pay for the experience of them making the ice cream in front of you with liquid nitrogen, but the last 2 times they took ice cream that was already done from the freezer below the counter and gave me ice cream from that. I'm sure it's because they make up vanilla in advance to speed up their work. It is lazy in my opinion. Besides that the salted Carmel is outstanding. I wish they would not be so lazy. read more

OMG love the place! It is perfect for a cute walk around Old town La Quinta w/ your ice cream in hand. I love how the staff make it fun for you and your party while they show you how they make the ice cream. You get to watch the hydrogen being put into the ice cream & its just so fun! read more

03/2026 While in…read morePalm Springs, we try to stop at Handel's at least once or twice for ice cream. This time, my mom was with us on our trip, so we brought her along to try it. Back home in Fenwick, DE, there used to be a small shop near her house that served homemade ice cream from a local dairy farm it was excellent. One of our favorites there was butter brickle, a rich, creamy ice cream with pieces of toffee mixed in. At Handel's, they offer a great deal where you can get four flavors in one container for around $8, and the scoops are very generous. We really liked the salted caramel, but they have close to 30 flavors, so there's definitely something for everyone. Seating is limited to just a few tables outside, and the line can get pretty long. On warmer days, you might want to keep the AC running in the car so your ice cream doesn't melt too quickly if you're taking it to go. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Palm Springs hopefully soon.

Update: I…read morepreviously left feedback about the Butter Pecan ice cream not being up to standard. The owner/manager reached out and apologized, and said they would look into it. I went back today (April 14, 2026), and I'm happy to say they absolutely followed through. Whatever the issue was has been fixed, and the Butter Pecan is back to being excellent again. Really appreciate the responsiveness and care for customers. I'm a very satisfied customer and glad to see this flavor back at a 5-star level, delicious once again!

It was still late winter (March), so things were very lush yet, though still worth touring. The gardens are part trees, plants, shrubs flowers and Christian religious artifacts and settings. We took about 20 to 30 minutes to walk through the gardens but one could take up to an hour, taking in everything, reading all the plaques and taking pictures of it all. We loved the gardens and recommend it to anyone.

You have to have a stadium 1 ticket to get in this area so the line was shorter. The menu doesn't explain what you get well. It shows in a bowl or waffle cone. The cone cost more but you get less. So the bowl you can get up to 3 scoops of ice cream and the cone you only get 2. I like the cone so I got it. The icecream is really good tasti g and smooth. We liked it. There was one person taking orders and two making them. I think they should do something different because many times the 2 making the orders were not doing anything. The line kept getting bigger.

No amount of knowing how to make a coffee will turn crappy coffee into a good latte... and to add to that, I paid $11 for the coffee that I wanted. If someone's paying that amount of money for a cup of coffee, they should expect to get something that knocks their socks off. This is a Hilton Resort and yeah, I expected better.

My best friend ordered a couple pints of their sugar free option, which is sweetened with monk fruit and even has a whopping 24 grams of protein! Wow! They had a couple of specials this evening, off the menu: pb&j sandwich and a chocolate covered strawberry with strawberries from Santa Barbara and white and dark chocolate morsels. Yes, please! I had to go with the chocolate covered strawberry and it was incredible! You can definitely tell they use high quality ingredients. NitroInfusions makes for a fun interactive ice cream destination experience. You'll have to be a little patient, but the ice cream product is craft made, with real flash nitrogen cooled cream that is smooth & flavorful beyond all compare! Sebastian and Nancy are amazing and passionate owners and are focused on the customer experience. I can't go here as much as I want, but when I do it's always Mint Chip. Write about your individually ice cream craft experience on their huge chalkboard wall. It's fun for the family, or date night. Located right in Old Town La Quinta across from Stuft Pizza. This ice cream is amazing! Ice cream is not one of my favorite things so for me to love an ice cream, that is really saying something. I had the raspberry delight. It's vanilla ice cream with a fresh raspberry sauce. It tastes so much better than store bought ice cream; it's creamy and not too sweet. I don't know if it's the fresh ingredients or that it's made with liquid nitrogen, but it was delicious. It's also fun to watch them make the ice cream with the liquid nitrogen. This is a fun outing for kids and would make a great place for a first date read more

Third year that i come back and it's the same great ice cream and service, flavor is as good as the first time, they are open during all this mayhem of year and even in the middle of a pandemic they give a great service and make you feel welcome, something I really appreciate. If you're in town go support a local business and try one of the best ice creams you'll ever have. read more

This is like Melvin's or trying a trendy bar...you have to go at least once. Trendy and eclectic....one of those food show kinda places...molecular gastronomy ice cream. It's fun for the kids and maybe a cool day date, but not necessarily a place I will frequent. It was cool to watch them combine your selections and make a cone of interesting fusions, but a bit pricy. read more

Nice little place located in La Quinta, they make your ice cream right in front of you with liquid nitrogen. Flavors go from classics like mint chip to some bizarre ones like banana lavender, the employees are very helpful and walk you through. I highly recommend this place if you like great ice cream and science!!!! read more
