Ava was helpful, and thorough in here explanation of her service, and what I should expect. She was able to schedule my nephew for the very next morning at 8am. The treatment went well, and my nephew loved Ava. She had us laughing, and learning about lice. She provided proof of treatment letter so I was able to give it to my nephew's day camp that very morning. At least I didn't have to worry about being treated -- being bald has it's benefits. Though Ava educated me on the importance of delousing the house, so after sending my nephew off to day camp, I had Ava stay for a head lice cleaning of my house. I've been doing preventative shampoos and sprays daily, but today my daughter's teacher thought she saw a nit in her hair. I checked her head thoroughly, but couldn't find anything. I'm still super paranoid, because lice are gross. I should also mention that I have dreadlocks so if I get lice it's gonna be (a plethora of sweat words) to get them out. Unfortunately I found more lice in all 3 of my daughters hair roughly 2 weeks after our appointment. No problem, right!? This company has a 100% guarantee... WRONG! Apparently there is only a guarantee if a follow up appointment is booked the day of the original appointment. 1) I wish I knew this little caveat to the guarantee, and 2) why in the world would I book a follow up appointment on the day of my original appointment? I expected the problem to be solved right then and there. Given the problem wasn't taken care of the original visit, and this company had thrown a loophole in their guarantee policy, they deserve nothing more than 1 star. Do better.

My only reason for not giving us 5 stars is that this process seems overly cumbersome compared to others. For starters, it's a 3 day minimum (although we learned it often takes longer) process and each day you need to meticulously comb through the hair, wash with special shampoo/conditioner AND re-sanitize the sheets and bedding that was used. Every. Single. Day. The treatment does not kill the lice/nits it only stuns them. So essentially it's very likely that this treatment plan will drag on far longer than it would if you went to a clinic or chose something over the counter. My advice: seek a faster/effective treatment solution and save yourself (and your washer and dryer) lots of heartache.

After we arrived I saw the advice to wear an old shirt - that is true! Anyone getting treated will get oil on their shirt and it will leave a grease stain.
