Lice is THE WORST. If you are reading this, I'm so sorry for your itchy troubles. Ok, but Lice Free Clinics is the best. 1 hr, $200ish/per person later and they be gone. We had lice years ago and did the whole at home remedies and it didn't work. We then ended up going to some place near us in Berkeley that has since closed down and it got rid of the lice real quick. Cut to a month ago and we had lice, the whole fam... FUN! We called around and Lice Free was able to get us in the next morning and rid us of our lice in about an hour (and I have some thick, long hair). They start by combing out the nits and lice. They then put in this spray, they put ya under a heat lamp, and then they comb it out once more. Boom. They sold us what is some probably over-priced oil that we did a few times over the next few weeks. My head was itching abbot 3 weeks later and they told me that if I don't see a live bug, I'm good. However, I went in for the check-up regardless, and sure enough no lice. The check-up did cost $20, but is not charged if you indeed have lice, in which they give you a free treatment. *Within 30 days, I believe. read more

Having lice is devastating. We believe we had it since January or Feb 2024... it's now September.. 4x we tried over the counter shampoos/mouses/gels and it helps but they came back over and over. As is the owner Cindy and her husband who also answer the phones and are always very helpful and accommodating. The dehydrating technology they have is like a blower but is super effective and although the price is rather steep it's got an iron clad 30day insurance that they honor very well. I cannot recommend Lice Free Clinics - Concord enough. After using another service that ultimately failed, the wonderful women at Lice Free Clinics were able to get me in immediately and took care of my family and me. They were lovely and positive and helped alleviate concerns I had. I called for another head check about a week and a half later because I felt my head was itchy - and they fit me in on a day when they were pretty fully booked. I hope I don't have to deal with lice again, but if I do, Luce and her team will be my first call. Made me a believer! I tried OTC treatments for both of my daughters and me initially but the treatments didn't work (and left me with a nasty reaction on my neck for a few days). Frustrated, I went and made an appointment for the entire family and me the same day I found nits in my hair... again. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first but I was desperate to finally get rid of these lice! The team was very efficient in treating my daughters and me - it took about an hour for all 3 of us to be done. And, I'm happy to report that a month later all of us are lice free! Finding out my daughter had head lice was obviously stressful. Especially with a 5 month old to take care of at the same time as trying to deal with removing head lice.
