5 Stars - Worth the Wait!…read more Dr. Jun is incredibly attentive and actually listens to his patients - which is honestly refreshing these days. There's a reason he's booked out for months (I waited nearly a year and a half for my first appointment, but it was absolutely worth it). The practical details are great too: free parking (seriously, what doctor's office has free AND available parking?), excellent location, and the building itself is clean and professional - not sketchy at all. Highly recommend if you're willing to wait for quality care!

I absolutely love to watch Doc and mom interact together because of the fact that my mom is so completely at ease and comfortable with him. He treats her as though she is his ONLY patient. (She hates when I take her to ANY doctor or hospital) As long as he will have her, I will continue to take Mama to Dr. Kurata until her eternal rising. By chance, I chose to call Dr. Yatsushiro's office. From the initial phone call, I was already impressed with their customer service. The receptionist was friendly and made it easy to schedule an appointment. Now my appointment was booked and a week later, I was at the doctors office. In the first few minutes of meeting Dr. Yatsushiro, he will probably make you laugh. He has so much energy and enjoys interacting with his patients. What makes Dr. Yatsushiro stand out above other doctors is that he truly listens and isn't trying to rush the appointment. He explains your diagnosis or lab results thoroughly. He doesn't shove information down your throat. He wants to make sure you know exactly what's going on. With my lab results, I needed to be referred to a GI specialist and upon exiting my appointment, His staff already set up an appointment for me with a GI specialist. I didn't have to wait months for anyone to call me back!! Dr. Yatsushiro is one of a kind. He is very patient focused and wants the best outcome for you. My grandparents really trust his words and speaks of him very highly. His words are very soothing and makes you feel very comfortable. Even when either one of my grandparents were at the hospital for an emergency, he'd be notified and would come to the hospital on his own, personal time to see how they're doing. Dr. Lai's Office is on the tenth floor of the Queen Physician's Building I. He validated parking at $1 per half hour, and maxes out at $5, so beyond 2.5 hours is still $5. His staff is friendly and his office is clean and organized. Dr. Lai has become very busy, and he's not taking in new patients who are on Medicare, Medicaid, Ohaha, or any government assisted insurance. His office can get super packed on certain days with throngs of people in the waiting room and out in the hallway, so if you have an appointment, make sure you come early because there a lot of walk ins as well. But at least there's free WiFi and power outlets around to keep you entertained. Dr. Lai is a great doctor who is very patient, understanding, and genuine. One of the biggest reasons I like him is he is not a script happy doctor. He does not try and push meds on you. in fact he normally suggests some more natural methods like Acupuncture or Yoga for pain instead of just writing you a script for nasty pain meds. It's so refreshing to see a doctor who really really wants to help his patients in the best possible way. His staff is always knowledgeable and caring.
