Ito I was going to a PCP who seemed to dismiss my Athsma and allergy concerns simply because my mother, who was also her patient, said that it was nothing. Within the first few months with dr. Ito she heard me out and ran the appropriate tests. Only to find out I have a pretty severe case of both Athsma and Allergies. She has helped countless times, whether it's the flu or any other illness. I have been seeing her since 2016 and since then have recommended her to countless others including my friends and family. Dr.Jennifer Ito has been my primary care doctor since I moved here from Wa in 2010. I have never met a doctor more compassionate, intelligent, caring, and empathetic than her. I don't get to see her as often but when I do all my anxiety about going in for a doctor visit melts away. She has a way of making Her patients feel at ease, like you get the sense that she really is there for you and cares about you And that you're not just another number. She is so smart and takes her time with you to make sure all your needs and concerns have been addressed and explains everything in detail but in a very easy to understand way. When you first enter her office you are greeted with the friendliest staff. The office is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Wait time is minimal, the longest I waited was on average 10 minutes. Then one of the nurses will take you back to a room while you wait for Dr. Ito. Dr.Ito walks in, perfect as always...the epitome of beauty and brains, and she greets you with a genuine smile. She doesn't just take into account the reason why you're there (I went in for an irritating cough) but she also considers how everything in life is going to make sure that all aspects are healthy. She really sits down and takes her time with you. I know a lot of people throw Around the word "blessed" a lot but I am truly blessed that she is my PCP. I have been going to Dr. Ito for about 10 years and she is by far, the best Physician EVER. She truly cares about her patients not only from a physical/medical viewpoint but as a whole. For example is, if I go in for a routine checkup, she will take make time to see how I am doing just to catch up (even though I know she is busy as f!@#). She goes above and beyond for every person, which is hard when she is not only a HUMAN BEING but a PHYSICIAN, AND BUSINESS OWNER. It's hard to always give 100% where ever she is but, Dr. Ito does. Dr. Jennifer Ito is truly an amazing physician who genuinely cares about your well-being. After reading all of the reviews, I'm confused how she has the capacity to make each of her patients feel as special as I feel but it's obvious she does. I've been fairly low maintenance over the past 5 years that she has been my primary care physician, but came down with a more serious medical issue over the holidays that required specialized attention. Dr. Ito walked me through her diagnosis, how she was proposing to treat it, and what I could expect during my recovery. I was concerned with my progress and contacted her via email to share my concern and she responded right away that my progress was in line with expectations. I'm so glad that I have Dr. Jennifer Ito as my PCP! She's awesome. You can tell that she genuinely cares for her patients. My parents and husband also go to her. She's located in the St Francis medical building in Liliha. They have a parking structure that you can utilize. Parking is a flat rate unless you get your blood drawn and then it's free hahaha. I've been seeing her for over 5 years now and whenever I need to see her they are usually able to fit me in the same day I call. She's very thorough and will order the appropriate tests and scans needed in order to diagnose what you have or bring you peace of mind. She's very sweet, smart, and caring. She's always so cheerful and remembers details I tell her about my life. She is easy to get a hold of after hours and get's back to me quickly when I need her. Dr. Ito was referred as my father's pcp after he had so many mini strokes. Upon reviewing his medications, she cut his meds by 2/3. He got much better and was able to live a blessed life. Dr Jennifer Ito was my PCP when I was covered by HMSA. I switched over to Kaiser and lost her for 2 yrs. I returned to her in 2019. In January I came down with a horrible case of flu contracted during an international trip. I arrived in HNL on Sunday. I got an emergency appointment with her on Monday, within 2 hrs of my calling. She was able to diagnose my ailments, get my chest xrayed and medications ordered, without any feeling that I was rushed or interrupting her very busy day. She emailed me late at night to tell me the results of the tests, so my mind was put at ease. She even thanked me for coming in when it is I who must thank her for seeing me.
