Went for a pedicure, 30 mins away from where I reside just because I used to that years ago. It used to be more of a spa offering great neck&shoulder and extra foot massages. Well no more. Very mediocre. Never gotten this bad of a pedi in the last 20 years. I still tipped I shouldn't have. Never going back. I'll stay in my own city.

I agree with the 1-star ratings above. 1) Nails are chipped right after the manicure/pedicure. 2) Over charged. $190 for 2 gel mani and pedicure?!!! Wasn't even good quality. We requested 2 gel mani and pedis without any additional services or packages. The paint job came out HORRIBLE. Not to mention that when the lady did hand and leg lotion massage her rings kept scars thing the skin. Big scammers!!! DON'T RECOMMEND COMING HERE!!!!

My pedicurist, Sapphire, did a quick and neat job of giving me a basic pedicure, $26 (cash price). The color is OPI's "Tempura-ture is Rising". Ever since my long, long time nail place closed up for good during the Pandemic lockdown, I've begun the search for a new nail salon. This one, on Ventura Blvd., across the street from Salt & Straw is now a contender! Thanks to Sapphire & Nails Spa Studio!

I was relieved the salon serviced me near closing time. I was a walk-in. I just needed to dash in for a gel removal and a quick polish. Sapphire was my nail technician. My session lasted less than 45 mins. My technician provided a pleasant experience for me.

This is one of those great experiences - a local shop, walking distance from home, but that even has great parking, and superior service. I've had a great gel manicure, over two weeks ago, and it still looks terrific. Day before yesterday I went over to get a pedicure. My most recent one was before Halloween (this weekend is Christmas), and my feet looked like I have been walking barefoot in the woods for two months. I asked for Lana because she'd given me such a great manicure - and she does excellent pedicures, too. She has strong hands, and took command of a grooming challenge. She rubbed off the old polish, sealed a cracked nail with glue, trimmed my nails, trimmed and buffed down calluses, and although my feet are basically clean, she was making sure everything was sanitary and comfortable. I'd brought my own nail polish, but it fell and broke when I first arrived; the salon has a great selection of colors, everything OPI ever made, I think, plus some other brands. I was so impressed, I bought gift certificates for Christmas presents.

Wow one of the worst experiences ever. First be warned CASH ONLY. No sign in front and no one tells you. Austere place, zero customer service. No prices listed anywhere and no price list or upgrades offered. I needed a spa pedicure complete with hard skin removal on my heels. When she finished doing my nails at the end I looked at the bottom of my feet. They were still dirty and scaly!! (I have hardwood floors and it's been awhile since I had a pedicure). $23 plus tip was not unrealistic but they are not trying either. I won't be back. read more

I got a mani/pedi there. It was alright, they didn't do a better job than my other spot that was closed unfortunately on a Sunday, which is less pricy. It was average and they rushed the process. The mani lady didn't even bother to take off my watch to correctly put the lotion on and massage my forearm/ hand. That's always a negative. Don't do a half ass job and don't rush people. It wasn't closing time yet. read more

I was desperate during the pandemic and we all went months without, but my usual Nail Garden had not fully opened and all may favorite techs left .. so I walked and was welcomed by the most accommodating staff.. water offered , extremely grateful to have business and it was very well organized and clean .. small place but .. it has taken me a while to finally do the new almond shape acrylics and see Nina for fills or full sets . I don't know why i keep coming back. It's really hit or miss, and the last few times were definite miss. How hard is it to do a basic mani/pedi? Do they look at me and see someone tolerant enough to allow the new manicurist to learn on? Someone who will brutally go at my toes and cause me pain trying to just get that last little bit, but be less careful with my nails. I mean, seriously, i left and saw dirt under a couple of my nails, and tears in my cuticles because she didn't let my nails soak long enough before pushing them back. i paid for the callous remover on my feet, she just slapped the goop on and went to town with her scraper. Awful. And, silly me, i gave a 20% tip. What she did on the right side, didn't match with the left. Ridiculous. Buh bye read more

OH my goodness, what a place! I called and made an appointment at 5:15. Then I parked on time and because they closed the back door it took me a few minutes to find my way around to the front door. I came in at 5:22, apologized for being late. The ladies looked all busy with the other customers, they acknowledged me, but didn't say anything. I chose my polish color, then I patiently waited for another 10 minutes, no-one said anything to me. At 5:35 the lady finally came to me and said that unfortunately they cannot take me because I came in 5 minutes late. That is understandable, but after I chose the color and waited for 10 minutes?? Could've she told me this when I came in and spare me the 15 minutes waiting? Never going there again, seriously, there are enough nail salons on Ventura blvd. read more

I found this nail salon by chance because I had an appointment with Dr. Greg at the Health Spot Chiropractic Center (which is also a wonderful place btw). The ladies here are wonderful and they did an amazing job on my gel manicure and pedicure. It was honestly the best nail salon experience I've had in SO long. Even though my appointment was outside due to Covid it was a very pleasant experience as their outdoor area is shaded and they have fans. The massage was wonderful as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this salon!! read more

I previously gave this place 5 stars...... now I have to update after a year and a half of coming here. This place sucks. I'm a loyal customer every two weeks getting a gel mani and pedi. Last night I came in to get a gel mani at 5:00pm. Ten minutes after I walked in they finally acknowledged me. She said it would be another ten minutes. Finally she took me to a chair and looked at my nails. She said "wowww gel, you could make this easier & take it off at home" she proceeded to put my gels into foil, and LEFT me for 35 MINUTES!!! Whatttttt..... I couldn't respond to work emails or get anything done. I didn't leave until 7:24pm. I'm sorry but two and a half hours got a mani is stupid... oh and guess what. She didn't even give me a mani. She just did a polish change and then tried to charge me $35. read more

Cute little location, they accepted walk ins. I brought my own gel color, top and base coat. Was clipped multiple times with the cuticle cutter. Toes are definitely crooked, and paid full price ($46) with my own polish. The nail tech was not enthusiastic nor put any effort or elbow grease. I definitely could have done a better job at home. I understand you got to make ya money, but don't you want returning customers? read more

I love this place. The people who work here are kind and attentive. I usually get a manicure/ pedicure with regular color and it's super affordable. It last longer than other places I've gone to and I don't have nicks and cuts around my nails like I have in the past. Go check this place out for a clean and consistent service. read more

Best experience I've had in ages! What pros! What great attitudes. Across the board. I got spa mani-pedi with foot scrub and scrap and impeccable paint job. 10mins extra massage on my feet and 10mins on my shoulders, and eyebrows threaded all for under 100. Excellent massages too. This is now my good to. Love it. So happy! read more

My nail tech didn't give a damn...(didn't catch her name) which doesn't matter because I won't be back. The only reason I came in the first place is because Two Brown Eyed Girls is closed on Sundays, and my feet looked bunk. I was at the farmers market and decided to stop in because I don't do ugly worn out nails. I got a regular pedicure, and they seemed irritated that I didn't get a "spa style" pedi (an easy up charge). I don't do those. More often then not, places don't clean the spa bowls well enough, and you can easily get fungus. I get that a standard pedi is more work for the tech, but I'm tipping you homie, relax. Btw... I tip well. Both my nail techs at TBEG get $20 tip each EVERY TIME for mani and pedi. Twist it not. The girl here did a pretty job, but half of that is customer service and attitude. No smile, no thank you, noooooo nothin. Her massage was soooo lazy I couldn't even believe it. Trust and believe her tip reflected her attitude. I even had to ASK for a receipt! They only take cash....as I walked out, the manger offered me a dry "thank you" and showed me her teeth. I know the difference between a smile and baring your fangs boo. Ladies, get your needs met elsewhere. read more

My friends and I wanted to go to a new spot for our nails, especially since our go-to place was closed to covid. They did an amazing job! I don't have any pictures of my nails since they were just a basic gel set, but they provided excellent service and followed my requests perfectly. TMI warning, but they were even able to get out the i frowns on my big toes without hurting me. Something only a couple people have done. Would come back again, and ask for Nina! She provided excellent service. read more

Infected nail alert - I should've known when I walked in and the place was empty. I had a Mani Pedi and my hands were done well, but the young lady who did my feet went completely overboard and pulled out the skin around the edge of my toenail to the point it was red raw and that I was wincing in pain. Two days later, my big toe has now become infected (see picture - yes that's pus now oozing from nail) and it's painful to walk on. I really wanted to like this place, reasonably priced and friendly staff, but I'm afraid to go back. read more

The saddest nail experience. The water for both pedi and mani were cold, she didn't clean under nails, no cuticle oil. She moved on to my cuticles and didn't push them back and barely trimmed them. So I mentioned it and the lady next to me suggested she push them back and trim them. She was filing my SKIN not my nail; The woman I got was terrible. She applied so much pressure in the arch or my foot while she barely scrubbed anything off your feet. I just got home and am doing my nails myself. The whole point of a mani pedi is the cleaning of your nails and cuticles. When she started painting I had to ask her if she was going to get the dirt that is clearly under my nail. Literally the worst experience. I was really looking forward to a good nail experience as they have so many great reviews and wanted to have that experience. Literally 2/10, would not recommend. read more

Honestly, the best experience I've ever had in a nail salon. Really love this place! Every nail techs are very nice and they always do amazing work. After a while coming here, they redecorate everything and it becomes a very clean and fresh area now. Worth every dollar and I will be going back soon. Highly recommend!!! read more

The location is on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, and the salon is amazing. I called to make a same day appointment, and Yvonne was able to take me later that day (Yayy). When I arrived she greeting me and asked if I wanted any refreshments (nice). I then walked upstairs to see beautiful décor and an overall nice salon with am amazing spa-feel. Yvonne made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I got a Brazilian wax and instead of the harsh soft wax, she uses the hard wax just like European wax center, but better!! I had an amazing experience with Yvonne and she has a customer for life. Not only was my wax flawless, but she made sure she took her time and made me feel comfortable. this is the only place i go. all the technicians are excellent, very accomodating, the place is always so clean, not smelling like chemicals as so many nail places do, good music, the shoulder neck massage is great, they always will take me on walk in no matter how busy they are. its a great oasis where these ladies patch me back together, all the ladies are great, i dont know all their names. jasmine cathy katie are wonderul. and im hyper sensitve and theyve always been very gentle. no pain. ive never been dissapointed read more

I went in today for gel x removal and a manicure it was the worst decision ever. Gel X removal was $20 and the regular manicure was $25. The quality was horrible, the gel x is still left on my nails from not removing it properly and the manicure is bumpy because she didn't remove my gel x! Ridiculous! Lastly they said they only accept CASH and showed me ATM! Front desk lady saw that I was unhappy so she said Venmo is fine, I paid Tiffany!!! Horrific experience read more

This is my favorite nail salon. I drive 30 miles to come see these girls every week. They are the kindest and the best in town. I love Vi and all the ladies there working and doing their utmost best to please us. It is clean and welcoming.
