I came here pre-Corona with a friend to get his eyebrows done. I have alleged "perfect" eyebrows so I wasn't planning on having them touched up. Debbie was so friendly and fun and helpful with my buddy that I decided to ask her about my brows. She gave a very honest assessment and I essentially had minimal hairs to be removed. She took care of it for me and offered me champagne (thanks, again) and refused to charge me! I, of course tipped her, for cleaning up my 9/10 brows into a 10/10, and being so hospitable and friendly. I had been searching for a new brow place for almost 2 years before finding Brows. I was in desperate need of brow rehab and that is exactly what Debbie gave me through her brow boot camp. It has only been 3 months of treatments but I have already seen such a huge improvement in my shape and my brows are finally growing! I use their brow serum every night and that I highly recommend if you are trying to grow them puppies out! Where do I even begin?! I've been coming to see Debbie since November 2014. My eyebrows were essentially overplucked lines and after using her booster nightly, putting the tweezers/magnified mirror away, and only seeing Debbie monthly, I can say after 16 months of brow rehab I have gorgeous thick natural brows! I will never ever go back to over plucking and I don't trust anyone with my brows but Debbie! They have parking in the back for free, Debbie is so friendly it always feels like you're coming to see a friend, and she also has awesome brow products for sale (powders highlighters brushes etc). She'll even take the time to show you how to fill in your brows/how to brush them properly to make them look full when you're in the in-between-transition-phase. The wait was about 10 mins and I was a walk in who meter-parked. I left the shop with time to spare. Really liked how my brows came out. Appreciated the tips that were given to help strengthen my weaker brow. Although my brows were cleansed, I had a break out in the areas that were waxed. Would love if they used products afterwards to help prevent that. I'm not allergic to anything and have a normal skin type. Coming from the NJ, I am not used to paying more than $15 for my brows. So, hearing my total of over $40 was a hard pill to swallow but it was a little expected since I decided to go to a specialty boutique. The girl at the front desk was kind and attentive but had a worker-bee energy that could be felt throughout the room. Not necessarily a bad thing but noticeable if you're zen. read more

I moved here from Philadelphia, PA and have been desperately trying to find a new brow place. I found 'Brows' via yelp and had high hopes. For my first visit, they did not disappoint. Debbie did my brows and they were fabulous! She nailed the shape that I like off of pictures from my previous place. I normally get them tinted, but sadly this isn't a service that they offer (yet!, hopefully?). My second time back I had an appointment with another young woman who's name is escaping me at the moment. Debbie was all booked up and it was right before the holidays, so I was desperate. The new (to me) girl was very nice and listened to my preferences on style. I showed her the pictures and the end result that I got was far from it, which made me pretty disappointed. I understand very thick brows are "in" right now, but I'm not quite used to the style that I was given. It didn't have much arch or shape to it. I felt like I had caterpillars on my face. It was a cleanly, and well done shape, but it's just not one that I loved on me and it looked nothing like the photos I provided. I haven't been back since that experience. I would say if you are going, book with Debbie, or be very thorough about exactly what you do and do not want. read more

OK it's been over a year since I went to this place but it is been on my mind because it was such a bad experience and I always wanted to leave an honest with yelp and I never did. And I am looking for a place to do my brows right now, I usually go to a place in Santa Monica, And this place popped up again in my feed. So I want to give my honest experience with Debbie at the studio. First of all she did nothing. She basically sold me on her plucking one or two hairs for my brows leaving no shape. It didn't look cleaned up and I always go with the natural shape so it's not like I wanted thin brows at all. The thing was that she did a lot of selling me and I wasn't happy at all and instead of making any like changes, know cleaned up like the lighter hairs which clearly aren't part of the actual brow just that kind of thing so that you looked well groomed. She didn't do anything. I paid top dollar whatever she charges no discount and then she asked me if she can take a picture of me holding with her Miracle Brow growth formula. I have very big brows and I don't ever tweeze them a lot I don't ever wax them a lot so I have healthy natural looking brows. All I get is just the fuzz cleaned up and a straight line like just a natural look no arching. So, she actually asked me if I can take a picture holding her brow formula!!! That's her personality. And then they actually charge me like $50 or $40 or whatever it is for this brow formula. After telling me I had gorgeous browse! Why do I need some formula no one has ever suggested that I need a formula. But the idea of her taking a picture of my brow with the formula to pretend that her formula had something to do with my brow growth was so phony that I I would never use this person again. I really don't think you should use them unless you want to go somewhere where someone will give you a bunch of hype a lot of bs and try to get you to buy her expensive product and I really think that if the product works so well she wouldn't be trying it on people who already have naturally full healthy Brows. Or she wouldn't be trying to make it seem like she I've been using that product but my whole thing was if you're going to use me as a model for your brow treatment don't try to sell it to me obviously it's dishonest. So I walked away with brows that looked not good and like a scam feeling and some people are easily like hyped up and if your one of those people then you're gonna love this place because it's very pretty and she acts like she's your best friend and if you don't really need to have good looking brows or if you can have your mind wrapped around like oh I'm not gonna actually do any work and you're going to leave happy then go to her but I went to this place because of the good reviews and she did a one star if that job in fact she deserves less than the one star because she tried to fricking like hype with the picture and then adding $45 for some brow treatment that I don't even need read more

I am rrreeaaaallly picky and had found my brow soul-mate back east so I was worried when I came to LA (I'd had a very bad experience at a place in Santa Monica once. Thank GOD they grew back). But Sydney was awesome, my brows look great, it was quick, painless and cheap. I also bought the brow color and brush because they looked so good when I left. They're nice people and do a decent job. Not worth the price at $30 for a brow wax - especially a basic one that was just to clean up my brows. And the comment was made, "there's not much to do you have a great shape.." So exactly why is it costing me $30? The owner then asked if I needed change back from $40 - I'm sorry but yes, yes I do. I'd get it if it was an overhaul with amazing service - but no not what this is. Way too expensive. Not to mention the owner asked the technician doing my brows twice - "how much longer will you be?" Apparently the quality of my experience only matters until you've already got me in your chair and unable to walk away. Can say easily, I won't be back. read more
