Probably will be berated by Christina for leaving this review. The worst eyebrow threading I've received, and actually the only bad experience I've had in over 15 years of getting this done in various places. I clean my eyebrows before going in, I just need professional help with shaping them evenly. I told her I like them thinner than most people. She basically just cleaned what I missed, which took about a minute. Then instead of shaping, she started threading hair from above my eyebrows / my forehead which are all completely invisible and don't need to be pulled. I'm guessing she did this just to stretch the time out / rationalize the $20. I had red bumps in the incorrect places she pulled hair from a few days. And it felt uncomfortable, like slightly itchy and burning. I have never experienced this before. I just hope the hairs she took don't grow back darker. There are so many good options for eyebrow threading in LA. My favorite being My Perfect Brows in mid city. Imagine there are some closer to North Hollywood that are solid as well. This place is just bad. Also I've never been charged $20 before... Just ridiculous especially given the location. Definitely go elsewhere. read more

I tried Christina for the first time and she did a really good job with my brows. I found it very easy to make an appointment and she took me right on time! I am a bit of a brow perfectionist so I showed her some pictures of the shape I was looking for and listened and gave me the look I wanted. My only issue was that the length of my brows was a bit uneven so I recommend explaining what you are looking for and asking specifically if any changes are needed. She seemed very open to that so I appreciate that. I will just pencil the short end in for now and mention it next time. For $10, she does both eyebrows and upper lip (though I turned that down because I can't take the pain) which is a great price. She took her time and I didn't feel rushed. Had an appointment for eyebrows, I let the lady know I had work but she said to come at 2:30. I arrived early and I waited 15 min before she told me she still had one person ahead of me. If you are busy, don't tell me to head down and waste my time and show no apologies. Rude and unprofessional. Trust me when I say that I went back to her again and stuck with her from then on!! I don't even know where to begin.... By far the worst service I've ever had.... First, I made an appointment for eyebrow threading and upon arriving I was told to wait because Christina was busy dying her hair... I only waited for about 5 min which was ok (it is still bothered me a little cause I left a small baby at home to run and quickly do my eyebrows) I decided not to stress about it. She literally spent 5 min doing my eyebrows. So when I left and checked my eyebrows I had 2 cuts from thread under my eyebrow and half of the hair were still there.... So I had to come home and finish her job myself!!!! There were so much bright light inside the salon that I didn't see it until I got to my car to look why is my eyebrow burning... I really don't know why this place has such good reviews? This is such a horrible service and she saw that she cut me and didn't even acknowledged it and no sorry of course.... My threader was very kind and worked with my constantly changing schedule. I have a prior engagement that help me over and they worked with me even though they were on their lunch. They stayed by the CDC and Covid regulations and I felt safe and healthy after leaving. They also even out my eyebrows since one side was shorter than the other. I just got a clean up and I often get my eyebrows myself and get it professionally done every once in a while. I'm glad I went to this place. I would recommend. My eyebrows look pretty even now!! I kept going to different places in the mall to get my eyebrows done and slowly they started to look thinner and make me look a little confused since one eyebrow was higher than the other. RUDE and Disrespectful!! I was looking for threading eyebrow places around my area and decided to check this place out. I walked in for the first time and was seated immediately. Now this being my first time I like to explain what exactly I like in my eyebrows. Ive been trying to grow my eyebrows to be a little thicker so EVERY TIME I go to a NEW eyebrow threading place I tell them can you leave a little more, especially on a specific part because im trying to grow it out. As I was starting to say this, the Esthetician interrupts me And says I cannot make your eyebrows thick!!!! She was sooo rude. I asked her if she was ok and then she said are you ok. I could not believe the amount of disrespect. I told her I think your being rude to me and she said no your being rude to me. It was so childish. I was shocked that this is the way she treats customers especially new clients. I walked out. I have NEVER been treated like this by an Esthetician. I have been going to get my eyebrow threaded for 20 plus years and have lived all over the US and visited many eyebrow establishments.
