I've been trying to find the perfect brow place for what feels like forever and I'm happy to report I've found it in Brows! My brows have always wound up being too thin and not shaped well for my face and I've just always been relatively disappointed in them. When I came in to see Debbie I wasn't sure what to expect. We decided to be patient and let my brows grow in a bit while she cleaned them up and I figured I'd see if she could work some magic on them...and that she did and now I'm obsessed! After only a few sessions I now have awesome looking brows with a great shape. I also have very sensitive skin and was worried about how I might react to the wax. But everything went perfectly! The wax itself is gentle and the process is the least painful I've ever experienced. Also, the special brow booster they sell works wonders, trust me! I was wary at first too but it does make a difference. I recommend Brows to anyone and everyone who is looking for a truly awesome brow experience! Everyone says that your brows are the curtains to your soul. Brows are the new black. Well, that's really only true at Brows. I've been lucky enough to find a few brow artists that I could count on one hand in my life. The ladies at Brows are on that hand and that says a lot. I've also found a lot of really, really bad brow artists and my loss is your benefit. I've done all the hard work for you! I went to Brows with a horrible hack job done somewhere else in LA (hint... they're a chain and they're super cheap), but Debbie saved them. My brows were super thin, missing pieces and patchy. She cleaned up my brows, gave them a good starting shape and told me about her Browchild Natural Brow Booster. I used it for a good 4-5 weeks after my second visit and OMG is it a life changer. It brought my brows back to my teenage shape. You know what I'm talking about, ladies; that one where the brows are super thick and lush like a jungle in the Amazon but in the best of ways. It's the brow everyone wants. I'm happy to say I have those brows now and so you can you! Pro tip: Make your appointment in advance, if you can, and if not, then try a walk-in appointment with Sydney on Tuesdays. You won't regret either one of them! read more

If you are looking for a professional brow artist who knows what they're doing, I would steer clear of this place. Just like nails and hair, you would want to trust whoever's hands you're in to take what you're giving them and turn it into something beautiful. Considering the amount of trained brow artists that exist in the world today, I was disappointed that not one was at Brows when I went in. My artist who's name I don't remember did not seem to know what she was doing with my brows, even after I gave her a quick spiel about how I'm growing them out and to literally follow the lines that are already in place - just a clean up I had asked for. She took off too much hair in one area and left too much in others giving me a completely different shape than what I'm used to. Not worth the $50 I spent, not worth the amount of time I spent circling around looking for parking, not worth the gas I wasted driving there... I'm a disappointed and will not be back. read more

BRIDES BEWARE. If you're getting married, I highly recommend NEVER USING BROWS in Studio City. The owner, Debbie, and makeup artist, Jen, are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Let me tell you why. I went in for a makeup trial with my bridesmaid. I was told that it would cost $95 with lashes for the trial. Prior to having my makeup done, I first and foremost asked Jen if she was available the day of my wedding. She said that she was on hold with a client for that day, but that she could easily cancel that client if I booked with her. I was very hesitant about proceeding but she assured me that she could drop that client if I booked with her, which I was totally happy to do. So, naturally, I asked for a quote for the day-of the wedding. I was told that I would receive a formal quote that night. Jen and Debbie refused to give me a rough price range. I did not hear from them that night nor the next day. The following day I received a phone call in the afternoon telling me that Jen hadn't heard back from her client whether or not she was available. I explained to Debbie that this EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING since I specifically confirmed with Jen prior to the trial that she would be available for me the day of the wedding. I also explained to her that it is ridiculous that I also don't even have a quote. Have you never done a wedding in Los Angeles? Later that day, I received a return call that Jen would not be available for the wedding. So, the moral of the story is that this company is extremely unprofessional and the owner clearly does not know how to provide a helpful service. Ultimately, after fighting with them, I was able to get the money for the trial refunded. All in, the experience was a nightmare and a waste of time. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for while...so this is overdue. I want to thank Sydney and Debbie (of course) for boosting my 15 yr old daughter's confidence with her cleaned up brows. I couldn't have asked for a better duo to make her feel at ease as it was her first time having anyone touch her thick eyebrows. They listened and Sydney went to work on my teen doing such a thorough and amazing job and even keeping the slight pain of hard wax to a minimum.
