I just walked out of my eyebrow wax feeling absolutely satisfied! I think of myself as a difficult client because of how "perfect" I like things to be, but Sydney (Sidney?) knock my service clear out of the ball park! I wanted thick, bushy brows that were clean and sharp. Her customer service skills are amazing, the consultation was thorough, and she was a great conversationalist! I have finally found my go to brow place! Debbie is absolutely incredible and ensures she gets the perfect shape for your brows. She is very precise and spends a good amount of time on making sure they're just right. My eyebrows have never looked better and I instantly saw a transformation. She also makes sure you leave with confidence in maintaining your brows to ensure you're on the right path on your "brow journey." I'm growing mine out and she was very informative but easy to understand. Not only was she obviously very skilled, but she was so kind, smart and funny. She seems so down to earth and personable, which made the experience even better. I'm very sensitive, her methods are practically painless, and the entire process was very comfortable. She asks you about the shape of your brows, tells you her preferences, full brows, and will tell you what she is doing as she shapes your brows. Debbie is awesome! I have the best brows I've ever had thanks to her skill and artistry. Even my husband exclaimed about them when I got home. For real! At my consult, she advised using a product to grow my brows for 4 weeks as they were previously waxed too thin at a different establishment. I just had the best makeup experience here at Brows. Jen, the resident makeup artist, gave me the natural "summer glow" I've been wanting. I have had my makeup done many times but always felt too done up and not myself. Well, my experience with Jen has definitely changed all that. Just left Lauren..full disclosure when I walked in My brows were a hot mess..I get their sisters not twins..but clearly these brows have two different daddy's. I had a game plan, make my beautiful thick brow look closer to the "other" one. Most artists would've been like...that's stupid but ok lady. Dear Lauren stopped that madness and offered me gentle suggestions and a glimmer of hope! *note I asked for suggestions on the little questionnaire (which is a nice touch I wish more places would do). With her mad skills she shaped and filled and trimmed and voila! Best they've ever looked. I bought the brow n lash serum while I was still high off of the endorphins of finally having nice brows. I've been going to Debbie at Brows for a couple of years. A friend gave me a gift card. My brows were OK, but I was never very happy with them. Debbie made me promise not to tweeze and after a couple of months doing Brow Boot Camp, using her magical brow booster serum and a few more months of shaping, voila! I love my brows. There are endless options in LA for just about everything... It can be overwhelming deciding on certain things at times! Eyebrows are the life of a face in my opinion so I was very cautious and weary when choosing a place. I drove by brows one day and the sign immediately caught my eye. After looking up some reviews I decided to make an appt. From the very first phone call Debbie was awesome! Cheerful and incredibly friendly, that is already a huge plus for me! When I arrived she took her time and consulted with me. I just came back from living in Asia for a few years and my eyebrows through years of threading became a little thinner than I like them. She shaped and waxed and made them look oh so pretty and neat. She also gave me advice as to how to help them grow in... And... She even gave me a serum (At no additional charge) to apply to them every night to help with growth! She was so lovely and it was just a pleasure to get my brows done there!!! GET CONTRACTS!! My sister-in-law and I each paid for our own trials. $120 and $270 (including tips). DEBBIE AND JEN told us they were available for BOTH of our wedding dates BEFORE we paid the money. They are 7 months apart. Then, on isolated incidents after the trial, they told each of us that they are no longer available! When I asked for my money back JEN says-and I quote from an email: "Was there a contract I wasn't aware of??". Their work is mediocre. We did not want to waste our money so we wanted to continue to use them for our weddings. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY OR ENERGY! But if you insist-GET A CONTRACT! This way you can tell Jen, "Yes! As a matter of fact, shady lady, there is!" Also, they are liars and deem all negative reviews as cyberbullying. Watch out for the libel, Yelpers! BRIDES BEWARE!!!!! NEVER USE BROWS or JEN in Studio City. They are the shadiest people ever. The owner, Debbie, and makeup artist, Jen, are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I have a similar story as Jessica N. (who left a review) to tell and share the same sentiments. I will share Jessica N.'s story, as she articulated a very similar story well. Let me tell you why. I went in for a makeup trial with my bridesmaid. I was told that it would cost $95 with lashes for the trial. Prior to having my makeup done, I first and foremost asked Jen if she was available the day of my wedding. She said that she was on hold with a client for that day, but that she could easily cancel that client if I booked with her. I was very hesitant about proceeding but she assured me that she could drop that client if I booked with her, which I was totally happy to do. So, naturally, I asked for a quote for the day-of the wedding. I was told that I would receive a formal quote that night. Jen and Debbie refused to give me a rough price range. I did not hear from them that night nor the next day. The following day I received a phone call in the afternoon telling me that Jen hadn't heard back from her client whether or not she was available. I explained to Debbie that this EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING since I specifically confirmed with Jen prior to the trial that she would be available for me the day of the wedding. I also explained to her that it is ridiculous that I also don't even have a quote. Have you never done a wedding in Los Angeles? Later that day, I received a return call that Jen would not be available for the wedding. So, the moral of the story is that this company is extremely unprofessional and the owner clearly does not know how to provide a helpful service. I have not yet received a refund in full back yet but I have taken the first step to doing so. RUN.FAST! read more

Thinking about finding your perfect "brow" you gotta go see Debbie at Brows. This really is her calling. I told her about my lifestyle (low maintenance on the beauty regime) and the look I wanted.
