I love coming here. It's a place away from the stress of life. Every massage I have gotten has been excellent. The prices are unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and go get the hand/foot massage right now. read more

My fiancé and I came here with our wedding party which came out to about 11 people. It was such a last minute decision but When we called the same day hoping we would be able to get massages for everyone. Yan was sweet enough to accommodate our large party between two back to back time slots. She did everything she could to help us enjoy and relax within all the wedding chaos. Each person had their own separate partitioned room which was private enough. If and when customers did make too much noise in the waiting area, the masseuses quickly shushed them as to not disturb the quiet and calming environment that was being provided. These were affordable, quality massages and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. read more

Foot massages are on and off here. I like them more when done by women. They seem more in tune with my needs and not needing to prove their macho-ness on my poor neck and shoulders without paying attention to how tense my body gets. Women are strong too, but are definitely more aware of body language. I love Annie for body massages. She's really good and will give you a proper whole body massage including tummy! I always ask for her when I go in now. Can't get better for the price! read more

Nirvana is the best massage place I have ever been to. I have been going to Nirvana for a few years every week and it is the one luxury I allow myself because they are kind passionate about their job and do an absolutely amazing job of taking care of their customers. Ivy is my favorite if you like a deep tissue style but she can really do any style. They are all really good masseuses and I would recommend this place over and over again. read more

I normally don't write a review because I am kind of lazy...but I felt sorry when I read a couple of previous negative reviews of this place and I feel I need speak out my experience with the place. I have been to many massage places in this area and Nirvana remains to be my favorite. I have been coming to this place for more than 5 years at a frequency of 4 times a month. This is a safe, clean and cozy place, the massage therapists are highly skilled. Due to a backpain problem, I normally go to male therapists and I found their services very professional. I have not had any bad experience which is quite unusual because I could be quite picky on the level of the therapists' skills and experience. I also tip well as a respect to their hard work. To be honest, $30 an hour foot massage is very low comparing to other services and you get the most out of your money worth for a nice experience of body recovery and healing. Sammi L. read more

What a great experience. I was welcomed to a beautiful ambient Zen feeling. The comfort level was a retreat away from home. I received the 1 hour foot reflexology It was soothing and removing all the aches from the body. It is well worth the time to take to become part of your monthly or weekly routine. Thank you Eleanora read more

It is like any big massage place the quality of the massage depends on who do it for you. I went 3 times , one was good, the other was excellent (e) the last was average (j). I booked with (e)in the last time and was confirmed but when I went there they told she was off that day! The rooms are semi private, so you can hear other people which can be not comfortable for some people. The prices are decent, 40$/h. In short a decent price in a quite place but not very personal! read more

My bro-n-law treated me and my husband to this place yesterday. What a wonderful surprise! It is a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! We rec'd the 1 hour foot massage -which includes quite a bit of body massage as well (fully dressed). We both really enjoyed it-we were in the large room with multiple massage tables-but I was so relaxed with in 5 minutes that it didn't matter---this is a first for me-i've never been in a large room with others. My husband got so relaxed he actually feel asleep. I would suggest light fitting t-shirt/tank top and either shorts or work-out pants that can be rolled up. I highly recommend this place-it's inexpensive and high quality-hard to find these days! Enjoy! read more

My wife and I (Rich and Jennifer)went here on a Saturday. Easily got a 2 PM appointment for a 60 minute massage and body scrub. No doubt a great experience for both of us. HIGHLY recommend this spa. read more

Oh Lord I needed a massage and I'm glad my boyfriend and I went here. The ambience was quiet and mellow with some soothing music playing softly in the background. There are private rooms sectioned off by curtains and one big part in the middle with maybe eight massage tables. We got full body massages for $40 each and we chose which essential oil we wanted to be massaged with for an additional $10. The ladies there are really nice yet have strong hands that will melt your worries away~ Later that day I realized I was able to turn my head without a cramp threatening my neck! We loved our massages, it's too bad we don't live in the area because $50 for a full body massage is a steal. read more

I love Nirvana Day spa. Their prices are unmatched. You get a foot and back hour massage for only $20. Add essential oils for just a few extra dollars. The hour goes by so fast because it feels so amazing and everyone their is very nice, quiet (to enhance the experience), and amazing. The parking lot can get a little crazy, so definitely try to come to your app early! read more

We were going to Golden Beach massage for years but didn't like it as much when it recently changed ownership. Based on other reviews, we decided to try this day spa. Very nice interior, and good masseuses. We've been here a few times now, and definitely like it much better than Golden Beach. It is worth checking out if you like Chinese foot massage. read more

Service is a bit choppy and pushy in terms of add ons. Also 2 of their male staff members were sitting on a couch right outside the bathroom staring at us as we walked out of the shower. Other than these the massage itself was excellent and the place seems clean enough. Prices are good. read more

I had an overall really nice experience here. The atmosphere is very calming. The lighting is dim which I find very relaxing. I had an hour long body massage from Cece and then the infrared sauna treatment. The massage was amazing, cece is very talented and did such a fantastic job. I usually never get my face massaged but she did such a great job on the rest of me that I didn't mind. She truly is awesome. The sauna is nice, very warm but it is a big public. The owners may consider hanging a curtain by the sauna entrance so people aren't able to watch you. Lastly, I asked over the phone if they took spa finder gift cards and I was told that they did. When I went to pay they told me that they didn't take Spa finder gift cards. I explained to the lady that she needs to offer more coaching to her employees and instruct them to be familiar with all methods of payment that are acceptable. In addition, she kept interrupting me and was a bit rude to me. I would recommend that she listen to her clients and offer a more polite atmosphere, especially since they are a business built around inducing relaxation. I will definitely go back and hopefully get better service from the lady in the front. I will absolutely ask for Cece, she is fantastic at what she does. read more

Tried this place out for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Clean, great massage, quiet and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

One of the best deep tissues massages I have ever had from JANE. She was so attentive, thorough and nice, it was a pleasure to be worked over by her strong hands. read more

First time in. Overall nice massage, HOWEVER I was overcharged $25.00 by the manager. I went off their price chart expecting the prices I saw both on line and on their spa chart. As I am in the middle of getting my massage the manager comes in to prep for my face massage and tells me the prices which did NOT match up to their price chart. Of course, I am laying there getting massaged already so I obviously can't contest it or get up. While I am getting the face massage she proceeds to try and sell me a product she is personally selling on top of it. The face massage did not end up being 30 minutes and was a little rubbing at best and no way worth $35.00. The end all is I go to pay and she ups the price from what she even told me in the room! She then says she gave me something for free, like that was supposed to matter? I didn't expect or ask for anything additional and she did whatever she considered a "freebee" without asking me ahead of time. SO sketchy and very bad way to do business. I won't be back. She charged me $140 for services which were supposed to cost $115. Totally scammed. First timers BEWARE! read more

Worst experience EVER! Do NOT waste your money or your time. First of all they overbook frequently which means you will not get full attention because someone will start your massage and leave you alone for more than 5 minutes at a time while they switch massage therapists on you or move you to another area altogether. I thought I'd treat myself to a much needed massage as my brother passed away a few weeks ago and I had been under much stress and grief. What was supposed to be a treat for myself turned in to a total NIGHTMARE. First of all, I scheduled my evening appointment at 1:30pm today and when I arrived the owner told me I wasn't on the schedule and that she had overbooked again. I was ready to leave when she said they could take me after all. She was in a mood and nasty. I have been here several times before and she's always trying to up sell the massage and has attitude when I don't accept. So where to begin with this fiasco ... I was taken in by a nice female therapist and 1/4 way through the massage I hear major commotion as they're conversing completely stressed out about what to do as the next appointment that they overbooked arrived. I was left for a good 10 minutes laying in the bed with no explanation . Then the owner comes over to complete the massage with me and with a bad attitude. She starts massaging my back like a bulldozer (I kid you not) . I let out a squeal and she calls me a "big baby" .. really? It was the most obnoxious and rough massage I've ever had. I felt like getting up and walking out but I stayed. I was never able to relax because they talked and talked and talked . Who does that while giving a massage ? Equally obnoxious was that she was answering calls while massaging my back with one hand .. wtf! She kept running back and forth to the front door every time someone came in or another staff member had a question. Clearly , she overbooked the night but still .. no bedside manner, no explanation and no apology. I couldn't even relax with all the commotion and interruptions. Not cool. Also, not to mention her horrendous breath as she was breathing on my face while digging in to my back. Just gross. I'm so disgusted and rarely even write reviews as I'm not one to complain much but this ruined my night and was a waste of money . She shouldn't have charged me AND should have offered a free massage to make up for the 3 ring circus . Being the classy (and too nice of a person that I am) I paid and even gave her a tip. She didn't even thank me. Horrible manners. Many people have had good experiences but considering what I just experienced on a night that I set aside for myself, I'm beyond disappointed and will never come back here ever again. I will also let my neighborhood know and close friends . Greed, greed, greed. SMH. If I could give Nirvana zero stars, I would. Good Bye! read more

I have been going here for a few years now. I love the massages I get which are full body massage. I started off with trepidation because my friend had always raved about it but, I stuck with my more posh establishments- much more expensive and good marketing. I have been getting massages on a regular basis almost all my life and am pretty picky about the quality. Well, I finally took my friend's recommendation and came here. I haven't gone anywhere else since! I have only had one massage I was not satisfied with out of the many massages I've had here. After a few, I found the perfect fit for what I look for. It's one of the finest massages I've ever had and you absolutely cannot beat the prices here! I always call ahead to see if my person is available. The owner is always very accommodating to me. read more

This place was awesome! I got a 1 hour massage for only $40 bucks and no this was not a special it was their everyday price!! My friend and I were walk ins and they took us right away and even rolled up the curtain between our rooms so they were connected and I could talk to my friend. This was my first deep tissue massage and I was very surprised by how strong my little female masseuse was, it was little too deep for me but the second I told her she eased up and was very friendly. But I can definitely say that this place worked out all my kinks! read more

I can't get enough of this place. Today's massage was one of the best and deepest I've ever had

My wife and I have been coming here for years. We believe it's the best spa in the area for the money. We always pay extra for the "Blue" massage oil, as there is nothing better. Yes, it cost a tad more but well worth it. Never had a problem with tipping because we tip on the quality of the massage, not the inexpensive cost of the massage. We're still saving a ton of money by not going to the "high-end" hotel spas where it's $200 to $300 for a massage. There are a lot of choices on Thousand Oaks Boulevard but this is our favorite! Give it a try! read more

Warning!!!Run!! Run away from there. This place is totally a joke, they do not respect u at all. I reserved one hour body message and one hour foot message. When I just finished my full body message, their manager came and told me I can't do the foot message because they are busy and there is no room for me to do that and I can't do it in the place I did my full body message because this room only used for body message. Now I only have two options. One is leaving away and one do 90 mins body message which using this way they can charge more. This is sooooo bad. U never imagine when u do full body message and naked in bed. They told u like that. Run away from there!!!!!! read more

Okay, so I've never written and/or posted a review for anything, anywhere in my life. A first for me, but how could I not?!? Realistically, I must have had close to one-hundred professional massages in my lifetime and tonight, at NIRVANA SPA, I received what was, bar none, the most AMAZING massage I've EVER had. What more can I say?!? I'm sitting in my car outside of the building now, writing this review because it could not wait; I must look like a crazy person as I continue to shake my head back and forth in disbelief over what I just experienced.. truly, a near out-of-body experience. My only regret is not having brought more money to tip with. Thanks guys. read more

The worst massage and costumer service I've ever had in my life! It was way too painful. I had to deal with after pain for the rest of my day. Either though I liked the decorations, relax music and the atmosphere, they are talking and laughing in Chinese while massaging. That ruined everything. I don't know if they are talking about something behind my back or not. The guy threw my arms my legs and scratched my legs and said nothing. I didn't feel that I was a customer. Felt like I came here to get tortured. If you are looking for rude painful massage, this is your place. read more

Great place for foot massage, I had 90 minutes combo and it was great. The only down side was I had a hard time to breath through the tiny hole and it was blocked so I kept opening it and breath. They should do exactly the time that bought and should not skip it even 5 or 10' is not right. Otherwise 5 stars. read more

Awful. No technique, creepy curtained rooms, noisy, people going in and out of my tent

I have been to Nirvana Day Spa few times for foot massage. I was extremely disappointed today. I gave the man who massaged me 17% tip. However, he disputed with me for 33% tip. Tip is optional. I'm shocked how he bullied me for additional tip. Usually, the manger is there. However, she was not there today as I asked for her. I asked the individual for his name and he would not give me his name. He walked away. Absolutely unprofessional behavior. I would highly not recommend this place. read more

Last Sunday night I had the WORST shoulder & neck pain and decided to try to find an inexpensive, short notice massage. I'm so happy I found Nirvana! I asked my masseuse to feel free to go as hard as she needed to to get the knots out, and my back has never felt better. I honestly felt like a new person walking out of there! I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Very disappointed. Asked to speak to a manager they just shook their heads no. Will never return.

Awesome experience. Really needed a massage before taking the GRE and had a very mediocre experience at massage envy. These people mean business! As soon as I got there I was immediately greeted and situated. Emma was very good at addressing my personal preferences and was very thorough! Minimal conversation but she made sure that I was comfortable. Personally, I tipped 25% because the massage was very low price and the professionalism was outstanding! Definitely go here for a massage! read more

I have never written a bad review before but the manager had such terrible customer service skills that I felt inclined to. I got a 1 hour massage for $40 and the massage was about a 6/10 overall. I'm a massage therapist myself so I'm probably a bit picky with the massages I get but anyway... so at the end the manager walked in on me twice while I was changing! Then when it was time to pay, the manager charged me for the massage and asked me how much I was going to tip. Redflag#1 you don't ask someone out loud in the lobby how much you're tipping, that's something personal. Redflag#2 she asks me am I sure that's how much I'm going to tip because she thinks it should be more, then says out loud what we should tip. Are you kidding me??? I said yes I'm sure. I've never been so embarrassed in my life. Now here's the cherry on top, she asks me where am I from as if she was implying that I must be from a low income area. I am beyond insulted, I've NEVER had this kind of treatment from any business I've been to. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. read more

CC was INCREDIBLE!!!!! I mean so sweet but STRONG. And hit every right spot. My neck has been unreal awful lately:( But it's soooo much better now. She did parts of my body that no masseuse ever has done! It was honestly the best massage I've ever had I think. I'm bringing my fiancé here tonight.
