I've been coming here for quite a while, but haven't been here in a long time. I'm surprised I never did a review. The place is a hole in the wall, the food is not fancy, but who cares? Some of the best food I have ever had came from little hole in the walls. The place is clean, the people are friendly, and they even have a drive-through. Tonight, I had just gotten back from out of town, so I decided to do a DoorDash from them. As always, I was very happy. The menu is very large I ordered three items. The hibachi triad. steak, chicken, and shrimp with veggies. You can choose white rice or fried rice, I chose the fried rice. I also ordered the SPAM noodle soup, and 8 of the ninja gyoza. The hibachi triad also came with a small side salad, the lettuce was good texture, and the dressing was good. The food comes, and the bag is *HEAVY!*. These people have never skimped on portions. The Gyoza we're very decent sized, and they were very generous with the filling. They were delicious. They came with both a dipping sauce as well as a sweet-and-sour sauce. I tried each on some of the Gyoza, and the sauces were great. The SPAM noodle soup was amazing... the SPAM, the noodles, and the cabbage were in one bowl, and the broth was in another. I love SPAM. I had just gotten back from Hawaii, where you can get SPAM just about anywhere. It is so popular back there, it is also known as "Hawaiian steak." they were generous with the SPAM, the noodles were very good, and the cabbage was just the right amount. The broth was not too thick, and it was rich. The triad was amazing. The fried rice didn't have any veggies or egg in it, it was just rice, but that's OK. The flavor was very good, and the rice was just the right texture. They were very generous with the proteins, and they were all cooked just right. The veggies were just the right Texture. Not too tough, not too mushy. For all the food I got, the price was very reasonable. I haven't ordered in the restaurant for a while, they used to do a military/veterans discount, I don't know if they still do or not, but you can ask. I had enough food for two extremely generous meals, half of the gyoza, half of the soup, and half of the triad for each meal. I was stuffed and satisfied after both. The workers are mega friendly no matter how much we've ordered or at what time. The Volcano Roll is definitely the best on the menu! We do get a comical amount of garnish every time but it's fine when your order comes with free spring rolls. read more

Nice hole in the wall, definitely not upscale but the food was surprisingly good! Everything is served take out but I kind of liked that, it made it easier to get up and go after we paid. We got crab meat hand roll for about 9 bucks I believe, jalapeno bomb which had spicy tuna loaded into it and was HUGE, for about 8 or 9 bucks, I got a bento box for 13.95 and my husband got 2 49er rolls for about 13 bucks. I will say the portions are HUGE. I definitely got my money's worth. And the food was yummy! Walking into here I didn't have high hopes, it's small and not the most amazing inside but the service was amazing and the food was good! The guy working the counter and taking orders was so sweet and attentive and accommodating. The food was good. Portions are big. We ate in the restaurant. We were supper skeptical about how the food would be. While it's clean in the front. The back is chaotic. When I ordered I paid $28 and gave a $5 tip. We waited 30 min for our meal. A very nice gentleman working the back brought us some spring rolls for the inconvenience. When we were done I asked for a bag and the gentleman working the counter handed me a reciept and said it's my bill. Uh, excuse me. I already paid. He said he didn't add one of our rolls. How's that when they brought it to us? I didn't pay the new bill because I already paid and tipped in the beginning. So beware. They will charge you one price and then come back and say you owe more. Let me tell you I was skeptical about coming here but I'm so glad we did this has been our go to for sushi masubi and lots of other yummy Asian dishes they have a pretty impressive menu! Will never be returning. As a previous review complained, I tried to use a Disney Debit Card and was refused for the Darth Vader design. The employee refused to give any reason besides "we have the right to refuse anyone", which is an improper use of that term. No you cannot refuse anyone, only for lawful, nondiscriminatory reasons. Which does not include CARD DESIGN where all other Visas are accepted. I asked multiple times for a reason, and he refused to give one and just said "not that card", then closed the window on me and refused to talk. When I got my food, I was highly suspicious that they had tainted it, i immediately got queasy and picked around the extra soggy deep fried roll, which is typically crunchy, then threw it out. Probably going to contest the payment with my other bank. No one should have to be worried that staff ruined their food for no apparent reason other than disliking a Disney character card. Do better. You messed with the wrong person, I'm the type to go every length to make a business act right when they're being sketchy and unprofessional. Good job! read more

Pleasantly surprised by this place. I did order delivery but to my surprise it was a lot better than I expected. $11 gets you a lunch bento box with salad, rice choice, protein and another option; I got the CA roll. The chicken was very nicely cooked. Friend rice was basic but not drenched in grease. Crab Rangoon is a nice size and tasty. Need a quick lunch? Def try this place out. It's A-LOT of food for lunch at $11. I have gotten way worse food at more expensive places so this was a nice touch to my day and I have a ton of leftovers for later. read more

I should have followed my foodie instinct but caved one day when we are out too long and wanted to grab a quick bite. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice and broccoli. Not being a stickler but I love broccoli, the visual advertisement showed a side dish sized portion of broccoli, and my entree came with 2-3 stalks. The fried rice was exactly that, FRIED rice. No veggies, just soy sauce (I am assuming since the rice was browned), an egg fragment here or there and a few onions. The sauce on the chicken was overly sweet and tasted artificial; you know, kind of how boxed or jarred foods can taste. Two bites of the entree and I just couldn't do it. The shrimp in the fried rice was not cleaned and deveined. There was actually poop still in the shrimp. I will NEVER return to NINJA HIKBACHI EXPRESS, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Tried the triad yakisoba and golden gate roll and miso soup the golden gate and miso were great but the yakisoba had this odd flavor not sure if it's because of the grease? I'm a regular customer at Ninja Hibachi Express and here's my review. We tried just about anything on the menu but my favorite is the Sushi. I usually call my order in when I'm in the area and it's ready within 10 min. No issues ever with any of my orders. Saw some reviews about the lady worker being rude but that never happened to me.
