I'm not a big fan of leaving reviews because I used to work at a restaurant and hated when reviews would degrade an establishment. Just to be clear, I treat everyone with respect. I greet everyone with a smile and a humble welcoming. As a matter of fact, I used to live around here and order from here many times. However, today I had one of the rudest and most demeaning moments of my life at this restaurant. Whoever is the person who took my order around 1 pm on August 6th, and proclaimed that I was "racist" for no reason, I hope you look in the mirror and understand that you were such a douche in the way you were handling my payment. As I proceed to give my card, he rudely tells me that he doesn't accept my card. There were no signs at the drive-thru menu and at the pay counter; that didn't specifically take Visa's Debit cards. So I asked, "Do you accept Apple Pay?" (There's an Apple Pay symbol) He says, "Yes." I show him my phone and he says he doesn't accept it. So again, I'm beyond confused what can I pay with. Luckily, I had cash. Before I took out my cash. He rudely tells me, "You need to go! We won't be serving you anymore." Then, he closes the drive-thru window. I patiently waited and asked, "I'm confused. What did I do wrong?" Then he proceeds to tell me that I was "racist" and "that people like you think you can get whatever you want here." Like bro, I'm Filipino. I'm Asian just like you! I also ordered the most simple item on the menu - a sushi roll and bento box which gives me the option to choose a side with no modifications. NONE. So I tried every ounce of my body to understand what was his mindset. I wondered. He may have had a racist remark prior to my order, or he may have had dealt with a complicated person, etc. I have no idea. I was being extremely nice with him. Even his chef came out and nicely asked if everything is okay. I said, "Yes, but I'm just confused why you couldn't accept my payment and he gave me an attitude." In the end, I paid with cash and just left. Seriously, I don't care how terrible the customer service is but to give me a crappy attitude and tell me to leave without explanation? That's next level douche bag energy. On the side note, as I sift through these reviews there has been previous reviews with customers trying to pay with a Disney Darth Vader, and they experienced a similar situation. This doesn't accept this particular card and proceeds to tell their customers that they're "racists" and is very rude them. Honestly, this guy needs to understand his consequences or else his business will not last any longer. Either you need to get checked with anger management, or either him or his coworker might stumbled to the wrong person who will NOT take this lightly as I did. I absolutely will not go back here. If you also have a Darth Vader card, be prepared to get the crappiest customer service of your life. read more

I've been coming here for quite a while, but haven't been here in a long time. I'm surprised I never did a review. The place is a hole in the wall, the food is not fancy, but who cares? Some of the best food I have ever had came from little hole in the walls. The place is clean, the people are friendly, and they even have a drive-through. Tonight, I had just gotten back from out of town, so I decided to do a DoorDash from them. As always, I was very happy. The menu is very large I ordered three items. The hibachi triad. steak, chicken, and shrimp with veggies. You can choose white rice or fried rice, I chose the fried rice. I also ordered the SPAM noodle soup, and 8 of the ninja gyoza. The hibachi triad also came with a small side salad, the lettuce was good texture, and the dressing was good. The food comes, and the bag is *HEAVY!*. These people have never skimped on portions. The Gyoza we're very decent sized, and they were very generous with the filling. They were delicious. They came with both a dipping sauce as well as a sweet-and-sour sauce. I tried each on some of the Gyoza, and the sauces were great. The SPAM noodle soup was amazing... the SPAM, the noodles, and the cabbage were in one bowl, and the broth was in another. I love SPAM. I had just gotten back from Hawaii, where you can get SPAM just about anywhere. It is so popular back there, it is also known as "Hawaiian steak." they were generous with the SPAM, the noodles were very good, and the cabbage was just the right amount. The broth was not too thick, and it was rich. The triad was amazing. The fried rice didn't have any veggies or egg in it, it was just rice, but that's OK. The flavor was very good, and the rice was just the right texture. They were very generous with the proteins, and they were all cooked just right. The veggies were just the right Texture. Not too tough, not too mushy. For all the food I got, the price was very reasonable. I haven't ordered in the restaurant for a while, they used to do a military/veterans discount, I don't know if they still do or not, but you can ask. I had enough food for two extremely generous meals, half of the gyoza, half of the soup, and half of the triad for each meal. I was stuffed and satisfied after both. Nice hole in the wall, definitely not upscale but the food was surprisingly good! Everything is served take out but I kind of liked that, it made it easier to get up and go after we paid. We got crab meat hand roll for about 9 bucks I believe, jalapeno bomb which had spicy tuna loaded into it and was HUGE, for about 8 or 9 bucks, I got a bento box for 13.95 and my husband got 2 49er rolls for about 13 bucks. I will say the portions are HUGE. I definitely got my money's worth. And the food was yummy! Walking into here I didn't have high hopes, it's small and not the most amazing inside but the service was amazing and the food was good! The food was good. Portions are big. We ate in the restaurant. We were supper skeptical about how the food would be. While it's clean in the front. The back is chaotic. When I ordered I paid $28 and gave a $5 tip. We waited 30 min for our meal. A very nice gentleman working the back brought us some spring rolls for the inconvenience. When we were done I asked for a bag and the gentleman working the counter handed me a reciept and said it's my bill. Uh, excuse me. I already paid. He said he didn't add one of our rolls. How's that when they brought it to us? I didn't pay the new bill because I already paid and tipped in the beginning. So beware. They will charge you one price and then come back and say you owe more.
