This massive Nike flagship store had five floors of amazing products. In the floor, they had World Cup team gears and personalization station that had really long lines. The lower floor had kids apparel, shoes and accessories. Second floor had women products including Nike Skims. Fourth floor was all sports goods like golf, NFL and few others. Fifth floor had lots of Jordan products. Throughout the store they had incredible designs and displays of Nike products, was so pleasing to explore. Many of the latest design apparels and shoes were available on display for us to check in-person. There were fitting rooms and checkout counters available on each floor. Plenty of staff members were available on each floor helping customers with products and checkouts. We took the time to walk around each floor. We found few items that we really like. We picked a Brazilian soccer team's shorts, Nigerian team's neon t-shirt and a kid's t-shirt. All of them had the same full price as Nike website. But Nike website had a 20% discount that wasn't available at the store. So, I ordered them thru Nike app instead of buying them at the store. I had such great time, I'll definitely stop by this store whenever I am near 5th Avenue. read more

The customer service was great. Associates were patient and helpful with customizing our shirts. I was appalled that after wearing the shirt just one time, the graphic started to tear. It was just wild that it's literally in shreds and hasn't even been washed. Such poor quality. read more

Probably the best Nike you're going to get. I've been here many times over, but on my recent visit to purchase some Air Jordan 4s for my daughter, the experience was surprisingly simple. I did not expect them to still have them in stock but I saw a bunch of people ahead of me purchasing them-- so I asked. As always all the employees were friendly and courteous. I've never encountered a rude employee ever. The store is relatively large, and has tourists galore, but if you maneuver past of all this, expect to have a great experience here. I just wish they would add the basketball court back-- it's been years since its removal. read more

I'm doing an nyc weekend with my 11 year old son, which looks very different from time I've spent in nyc before since he's not much of a shopper. However, he was interested in checking out the Nike store when I told him he could make custom Nikes and apparel. Like all things in NY the customization floor was quite busy, but we were able to make an appt later in the weekend. We may end up skipping it since his foot is too small for the shoes and the apparel looked a bit big for him too. However, I'll be back next month and know my daughter would love this so plan to make an appt again. The sales associate who helped me mentioned you can call to see if appointments are available, but really just need to make it in person. We checked out the sneaker lab. You have to find a sales associate (not so easy among the crowds) to scan a shoe and tell you if your size is available. My son had his eye on a bright yellow pair of Nikes, but the sales associate who was checking on sizing never returned. I ended up just ordering them online- easier and one less thing to pack. Before leaving we made our way to the kids floor and my son bought a nike Olympics themed shirt and hat, which he's excited to wear in support of Team USA. This is definitely the most impressive Nike store I've been to (London right behind it), but think the customer service could be better and would be great to make appointments for store customization online. Not to be confused with a regular Nike store , this is a step further with all the fixings of a Nike store .The experience here is top notch as one expects on 5th Ave and Nike doesn't lag behind the other luxury stores in any aspect . Spread across multiple floors and sections there is very less you cant find here -perhaps some old inventory but other than that really well stocked. There is a section Nike Lab for customization where you buy the goodies and then get the stuff customized at a very reasonable price . There is limitations on what kind of item would be customized though and you can only pick from the preselected apparel . The store is huge but there are sections that look messy , unkempt and purely unorganized . The staff is helpful and takes pride in their work . read more

This is one of my favorite Nike locations. I usually pick up an order or try on and order at home. Inventory wise there's a lot of sneakers in my size, both online and in person staff are nice. It's a beautiful and spacious location. Also, shoutout to the elevator b/c sometimes after walking around the city and all the stairs you need a break. All the sneakers I like are usually on the highest floor. It's a well lit and very spacious place with great floor plans. I've been shopping at Nike for some time and this location so I know the quality of sneakers are always reliable and some. My most recent purchase were weatherized sneakers I picked up on a rainy day that were perfect and worth every penny. I highly recommend if you're in the area. It's very close to Rockefeller center and there is a train station near by for those cold, rainy or days where you want to be a few feet away vs taking a long walk. Keep in mind this is a very high velocity store located on Fifth Avenue so please give the employees grace as they are helping multiple customers. read more

I love Nike as a brand because of its quality AND because of my customer experience whenever I go into ANY Nike store. The one fifth is iconic because it's situated right where all the big brand named stores are on fifth in midtown east and an amazing experience for tourists and locals alike. This place has so many floors each with different experiences. I've been here several times and have always had a great experience. This time was different and extremely disappointing. I came in to return a pair of shoes at customer service and the lady that was helping (her name was either Savannah or Sharon?? Can't remember but she was working customer service in 6/11/23 around 530ish. She was very distracted with other things happening to the store that although we were right in front of her we were basically invisible. I get it- I've worked retail before and a Nike store in Manhattan on a Sunday I imagine is very hectic and high stress. We said we were here to return a pair of shoes and she went through all the motions while still distractedly talking to her coworkers and other customers who were waiting for another pair. I'm glad that she seemed like she was having a good time - just as long as she does the return I'm good. She then proceeds to give us the shoes back in the bag and a receipt and we were like ???? This is a return. She says "OH! Well you COULD HAVE SAID THAT AT ANY POINT" so viciously and condescending. We said we did say that? Right at the beginning and she was like "no you didn't"and looked over to the customer she was helping to back her up, the customer just looked confusing. Anyway, there's more to it before she said "ok imma just stop talking" and then had to return the shoes twice. She kept looking at me and talking to her coworker and laughing, making us feel awkward and uncomfortable. The redeeming quality is that we spoke with Amal who was the floor manager and he apologized for that whole mess. Do better Nike. read more

Shopping day with my cousins from Italy. He is an athlete, so he loves Nike and collects so many sports shoes. The location is nice and grand but mostly display only new stuff. My cousins didn't get any service because they were too busy and seems to be not enough staff vs customer. read more

They do have bathrooms on the 3rd floor. 5th floor is where you can do your own designs. Not really any sales or good deals at this one. Does NIKE NYC even need a review? The brand and location speak for itself, but in case you're really on the fence about whether you should go OR if you're just here for the most recent install pics... I've got you Incredible Nike location -- just visiting the store (even if you don't buy anything) is an experience in and of itself, simply for the installs/art. The building is a masterpiece, and it's cool seeing how they change it. It's a massive store, so pencil in plenty of time to browse. Each floor is a different experience, including the Nike Lab @ the top level. The Nike Lab is a CRAZY cool experience & honestly a dope way to get some NYC "swag" without doing a typical " I NY" shirt. You can customize ANY item on the top level (sweats, hats, Air Force 1s, etc). I customized a pair of sweats, and it was a fast & seamless experience! The staff across the entire store are super helpful and efficient. They move quickly (even amongst the chaos on the shoe level). This is a must for any shopping you do in the city! read more

Peter really made this review 5 stars. We did the custom Nike gear on the 5th floor and the first person didn't really care much and messed up my husband and I's sweat shirts. He pressed the wrong things onto the wrong shirts and some of the designs were pressed crooked. We brought this up to Peter and he immediately jumped into action and made sure everything was corrected. He truly wanted us to leave happy. At the end of our visit, we found out that Peter is actually the manager of the store and they definitely picked the right guy for the job! Thank you Peter we love our custom sweat shirts! read more

We came here with 2 NYM finishers and the security staff were super rude and condescending. Not 1, or 2, but 3 separate security staff members rushing and dividing family from the runners. I would give 0 stars if I could. I bought gift cards online. After 5.5 hours of calls and chats, I still have not received a refund for cards I didn't receive. I was hung up on, told to call back. People who work there are untrained and give false info to get you off the phone. I was told by one worker that a refund had been issued. 14 days later, when I had not received a refund, I called again and was told they don't give refunds on gift cards. The tracking showed the cards would not be delivered due to insufficient postage. read more

This Nike store is very impressive. It has several floors and a decent amount of styles. The issue is that it doesn't have many sizes. A lot of the items that I liked were not available in my size a lot of the employees that are there are not really into helping the customers it's more about socializing among themselves. When I finally did, the service was confused, and lengthy --presenting models I did not ask for and not the ones I did. The associate went on break. Passed me to a colleague with no better results. The staff, at least on the 4th floor, is super rude. The guy in charge of calling people to bring out sizes acts like you're bothering him if you ask to try on something and was giving me and everyone else who asked for help major attitude. I asked two people where to find the shoes I was looking for and they vaguely gestured to a huge area. It's hard to find what you're looking for. Very large store with lots of items to choose from. There are security guards at the door which makes me feel safe.

Requested to try on kids sneakers through the app. Waited 40 mins while multiple staff standing around told us "they're coming up from downstairs" finally a nice guy went to get them downstairs. Terrible way things are run here!!!! Kids shoes should stay on kids floor so we're not lost in this mess. Only waited because it was for my child's bday. The app also allowed me to scan what sneaker I wanted and have it delivered to where I was waiting. And then the sales people make the purchase on the spot. No waiting in line for a cashier. read more
