I had a great experience here. I was fascinated, I've never been in a two story foot locker before. We were greeted upon entry, the sales associate that helped me was wonderful. They have a wide variety of shoes, I was able to buy a pair and wear them out of the store because my shoes were not made for walking lol. read more

I don't typically write reviews for these types of places, but the service is so good here that I have to write one. In Texas, where I live, footlocker and their competitors are usually thinly staffed and you have to hunt down someone to grab you a shoe to try on. And usually that person is busy trying to help the people before you that had to hunt them down. Not here! I don't think we went more and than 3 minutes before someone would ask us if we needed a shoe. I honestly thought they worked off commission because they offered so many times that I wanted for the first guy that asked before I let anyone know my son was ready to try on a shoe. While he was grabbing the shoe, another guy asked us if we needed help so I asked him "do yall work off commission or are yall just really helpful?" Turns out, they are just really helpful! I ordered shoes on Dec. 11th on line and it's almost Christmas and my shoes are still stuck in NY. This store never picks up the phone, and customer service and chat are always busy. They say it will take 10 minutes, but then after 6 attempts, only 2 people have called me back. Neither of them could help me or get in contact with the NYC store to get my shoes to Fed Ex. I can't cancel the order until I have received the shoes. Catch 22. Thank GOD I put this on my credit card and they can reimburse me and deal with this company that does not consider its customers at all. read more

The design of the store was awesome, and the staff was really cool and pleasant very helpful .I have been to alot of footlocker stores around the nyc and this one is definitely in my top 5 . I was just there yesterday and I was checking out some adidas boost ,and there Adidas bounce some of my favorite sneakers. But what caught my eye was the new yeezy they were nice for about $220.00 that was a deal for those. They also had some 4D Adidas that were about $300 they didn't have my size in either pair. Made a quick run into times Square to pick up a pair of pricey sneakers for a birthday gift for a family friend and I also left with a pair for me but not too pricey and not too colorful. AS expected they carry all the big name brands with a few I never heard of along with clothing and accessories with the brand labels as well. The sales guy knew all the latest cool sneakers that kids are wearing now and suggested which pair I should get . I had to make this review in the hope that management would read this. Quite frankly I was amazed how incredible the customer service was here. The employees were very welcoming and not in that fake overbearing artificial way that so many other retail stores are filled with. I had a paper bag that was ripping and this girl without hesitation immediately came over and stapled it back together. So many retail stores could learn from this store in particular when it comes to customer service. Amazing people. read more

I needed to exchange an item, but they didn't have it in their stock. Sales person checked to other stores near by, unfortunately they didn't have it in stock either. This store ordered it and will have it shipped to my home. Great for me, I don't have to travel to city again for awhile. Hands down best Foot Locker I have been to. The women's selection is small but always very fashion forward and cute. However, the reason I am writing this is for their amazing staff. I was getting a shoe and he said he had my size but he didn't I was so sadddddd so bad

I have a hard time buying sneakers and while reading fashion blogs online, I read about the new Nike Cortez for women. I haven't worn Nikes since grade school so I am pretty sure sizing has changed plus the designs may look good online but wanted to see in person if the shoe would work with my body type. As soon as I walked in, Brian, one of the associates, helped me work out sizing as the I was in the men's section. He converted the sizes for me but unfortunately, they didn't have the sizing for me. He was also patient enough to scroll on my smartphone to discuss the several Cortez designs. A lot of new designs can be found online but we also talked about OG Air Jordans which he explained don't come in my size as they are usually sized for men and the smallest they carry are men's size 7. First of all kids foot locker online customer service sucks, I called them more than 20 times in five days and no body answered. but the lady manager in this store is so nice and very helpful. She helped me to write down every detail info and send my items to warehouse for refund(i didnt bring all receipts). She is very patient with me and made me feel warm hearted. read more

Had a very surreal experience at this FootLocker in Times Square. Came in to buy a few pairs of sneakers on my day off. The person that helped me was very knowledgeable, the rest of the staff were kinda rude, but w/e, I had my one guy helping me, and I just wanted my sneakers. I pick out a pair of sneakers, and then I go to the other side of the store to get another pair that I liked. The person helping me basically disappeared, and there was a flurry of employee activity in the store, and I found myself surrounded by employees on all sides, constantly radioing the manager and each other regarding my shoes, and making small talk with me about weird things(my socks, the weather, random topics, etc.), while I waited what seemed like forever for this guy to bring the 1 pair of sneakers I requested. I thought to myself "Wow, these guys have some seriously good teamwork going on". After what seemed like an eternity, the guy helping me comes back with my shoes. I pay for my merchandise, and as I'm leaving, I see an armed police officer at the escalators blocking the exits. The dude helping me the entire time was no longer in footlocker employee attire and was conversing with the cop in plainclothes, most likely an undercover. It felt like some kind of sting operation over a pair of fucking sneakers gone wrong. I'm a paying customer, I don't know why my time was wasted like this and why this location plays games with people. I'm never coming back here. read more

Great selection and location, but what made the biggest difference was the amazing service that I received from Watson. He helped me pick the right shoes (Pegasus 35), size, encouraged me to take a lap around the floor, and showed me all available styles. Great assist by his co-worker (didn't get his name but overheard that he's going to Texas) who stepped in with some additional information between the 34 and 35 variants. I was looking around for a shoe that I have been eyeing for a while now. Found it here with my size. On the footlocker site it was way cheaper than the store. I asked a very cool gentleman who was very accomodating and all cool. He even did all the arrangement for a price match. Thumbs up for this store in my book. No complaints here. Usually avoid Times Sq. but happened to be in the area for work, So I stopped by in hopes to find some new basketball sneakers as I play every week and am in need of a new pair. I walked in, went upstairs to look around at the men's floor... after a few minutes I noticed they were following me around playing detective on their radios as they assumed I was going to try and steal something, simply because I had my backpack on from work. It took me a few minutes to realize what was going on. I was being watched. One guy very nervously said "please wait right here while I get someone to help you" so I did but no one came, I then walked to the Nike section and the same guy came running after me to basically keep eyes on me. Instead of treating me as a potential customer (which I surely could have been) I was being followed and observed. They were using their radios to keep watch on me. Very very odd and uncomfortable experience. I started laughing because they thought I didn't know what was going on. I will NEVER even consider shopping or purchasing from a Foot Locker again. You have lost me as a customer. I know it's Times Sq. and there are a lot of weirdos around but that's not how you deal with customers.
