I called on Tuesday, and the receptionist told me "yes, we are accepting new patients - you have to come in to meet the doctor and fill out a form". I go in today (Thusday) at 2:20 pm. Spoke with the receptionist, re-confirmed that I was there looking for a family doctor. She said "wow - great day to come in. He only has one patient before you. It should only be 10 minutes." So I sit and wait... and wait... and wait for 40 minutes. I ask what's up, and she tells me "Oh, some regular patients came in before you and had priority". Fine. I wait 25 more minutes and get taken in. The nurse or whoever asked what I was there for, I told her to interview for a family doctor, and she said in a most patronozing and concescending manner "This clinic is completely full. You can come in as a walk-in-patient, but definitely cannot be a full patient". I ask her and the doctor why they would tell me on the phone, and then again at the office, that they were taking patients. So at htis point I just ask for an apology, but they deny that any of their staff would have said they were taking new patients (the original receptionist was gone by this point), then when I start asking for an apology at least, they threaten to call security. My best guess is that the receptionist was on her last day, or having an awful day and just messing around with people. Truly felt like I was in the twilight zone. AVOID AVOID AVOID
