I enjoyed the food it was cute , the service was nice , the food was good but not the best I had . It was pretty empty when we showed up .

Amazing. This maybe our new favorite ramen spot and we drove over an hour to try them out. The interior is really unique with cute intimate booths. I ordered the Tan Tan Men ramen (perfectly spicy) and my husband or the Coco Curry. Both are amazing. We also ordered 2 appetizers: YANGNYUM NUGGETS, and Aji fry. Both were delicious. The service was amazing. Our waitress offered some recommendations since this was our first time. Great spot. Must try.

Bad like smell when you come thru the front doors but goes away once you keep walking. I enjoyer everything we ordered here. Lots of flavor, everything came out exactly as I wanted. If they can get rid of the weird smell that would be good. Other than that I'd def come back for food. Service was adequate, I was out of water for a while and very parched.

Came for lunch and the noodle set (noodles plus mini appetizer) was very affordable at $15.50. They weren't lying when they said mini (about 5-6 nuggets in the karaage). It was fried to perfection and the dipping sauce was great. The noodles were good and the chashu pieces were big, but the tonkatsu broth was too salty (didn't drink it). Would come back!

Spicy Sapporo miso Ramen and spicy chicken karaage

A great ramen place but not the best. I ordered the spicy Sapporo miso ramen which is a new item they introduced two weeks ago. It was definite thick and good but lacked a bit of the rich flavor that typically ramen soup should have. For my spicy food lovers, this is not spicy. The kaarage chicken was good but the rice was too dry. The decor is spot on as if you were walking into a night market style restaurant. The waiters were also very nice and accommodating.

Night Market Noodle has nice wooden interior with plenty of seatings for big and small groups. The menu has a mixture of Korean and Japanese food. My party had the Brussels sprouts, takoyaki, gyoza, and ika geso as appetizers. The appetizers were ok, except the ika geso. The flour coating on the ika geso was thick, and did not taste good. I had the Moto Tsukumen, which was a disappointment too. The dipping broth was very thick, which had the texture of gravy instead and the flavor was one-note too. The ajitamago was not marinated well, and wasn't cooked well too. I received good service during my visit.

Great spot for multiple noodle options. I ordered the Burnt Garlic Tonkotsu as a set, with the Mini Yangnyum Nuggets as an appetizer--all for $13.75 before tax. I was pleasantly surprised by the broth; it wasn't overly salty, which was my initial concern. The portion was generous and quite filling. The Mini Yangnyum Nuggets, however, were a bit too spicy for my taste--definitely something for those who enjoy a kick. I couldn't finish them, so keep the heat level in mind when ordering. I also tried a side of karaage, which was excellent--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I'm not a big fan of mayo-based sauces, but if you are, it might be a nice pairing. Overall, the meal wasn't mind-blowing, but it was solid and satisfying. The service was friendly, and I'm definitely interested in coming back to try some of their other noodle options.

The last time I came to this spot it was still the Thai Night Market. The furniture and decor is largely the same, wooden and minimalistic, and trendy. If you have a larger party, you may have to split because tables are on the smaller side. The food came out pretty quickly and service was friendly. Restrooms were clean. The noodle set is priced at $13.75, where you get to select a ramen, as well as an appetizer. Given ramen prices these days, this is pretty good value. We came in early for dinner and there was plenty of seating. However, it did start to get busier as the night progressed. If I am in the Chinatown area and craving ramen, this is definitely a go-to option.

Tantanmen - actually spicy for Japanese standard but not too spicy for someone who can take heat.

Some parking in a shared plaza. This parking lot can be quite busy some times, depending on the day and time. Interior is very laid back, like you found this restaurant in an alley or a Japanese street. Very cool. Ambiance gets 5/5 and for being cleaned as it can be at the time of dinner I went. This restaurant be get packed but food comes out pretty quickly. Servers are friendly and they're always exercising their memory muscle of their brain - how in the world do you memorize everyone's order, especially with a big group!? Karaage - plain and could have been fried just a tad longer or on higher heat. 1/5 Tantanmen - spicy but like a creamy spicy so it doesn't hit you as hard. I wouldn't call it "numbing spicy." For someone who can take heat, I enjoyed it. Thick noodles is a good choice for this ramen. Adding cilantro was out of the blue but I enjoyed it. Boiled egg was cooked perfectly for ramen - slight hard but slightly runny. I highly suggest this to anyone who actually enjoy spicy noodles. 4/5 Shoyu Ramen - my personal favorite with fish broth. I liked the medium ramen for this. Everything cooked perfectly and not crazy amount of sodium. The only downside was the chashu. It wasn't cooked quite how I liked it and didn't have that "melt in your mouth" texture. 4/5 Overall, I would come back and recommend this ramen restaurant to friends. It's definitely made it to the top 5 for ramen in Houston. Broths and noodles are made correctly. Just come by! Something to note, I believe a table can hold a max of a party of 6. If you're a bigger party, perhaps give them a call first or y'all going to be scattered.

Solid food here! The wood benches and stall vibes definitely gave night market. I got the shoyu ramen with the chicken appetizer. The shoyu ramen had great flavor and the broth was well made. The noodles also had good chewiness. I wish there was more fish cake though. The chicken I got was the yangnyum nuggets which was too spicy to taste the flavor.

Yummy yummy! Best ramen ever!!! If you've not tried this restaurant drop what you're doing and go!!! Tried burnt garlic and spicy black garlic I think?? Waiter was very friendly and attentive...not used to that. See pics!

    mazesoba
    Jacky D.

Thought of my japan trip and was craving mazesoba. I tried looking up places but remembered i saw a foodie on instagram come here and mentioned it had mazesoba. Looking at the menus photos posted online i didn't see it but still took the risk to get it and luckily they were still serving it. It's in a plaza with other well known establishments so I would guess it would be difficult to find parking on a busy night! but there is still a good amount - maybe just a walk. Pretty empty for a sunday lunch but there were still people coming and going. the interior was nice imo. mazesoba - overall it satisfied my craving that i basically inhaled it. the umami of the rich sauce was amazing. i like to add vinegar and chili oil to mazesoba to turn it up a notch as well. the pork was not super tender but i'm just a harsh on all pork belly's. it wasn't tough by any means. one weird thing was the seaweed was tough...like there was a BITE to some of the pieces. one where i couldn't even bite through to consume. i don't know if any other place serves mazesoba but if not i will be a regular here now. 8.9/10

We were dying for some noodles so we headed to try night market for the first time! They have a pretty good selection of different noodle dishes- ramen but also things like jjampong and jjangmyeon, plus a snacks menu. The first thing that jumped out to me was how appropriate the prices were. Ramen has gotten out of control lately with most places charging $20 a bowl and those rang from $13-15 and the added sides $1-3. The snack portions are all about 4-8 dollars and well and meant for one or two. We ordered a cold sake and two beer, one of the chicken nuggets apps (it has the egg tartar sauce) and the fried wontons. The fried wontons were thick little balls of pork and shrimp served with mayo- they didn't have much flavor and a good dipping sauce would have elevated them instead of the unseasoned mayo. The chicken nuggets were good- the egg tartar sauce was good and the chicken dressed in sauce and it had a little slaw on the side. For dinner I got the noodle set- you choose a ramen dish, I did the burnt garlic, and it comes with a mini appetizer so I did the sweet and spicy chicken. What an amazing deal for $14! The sweet and spicy chicken was my favorite of the three apps. My ramen was good but I really wish the garlic was stronger and that they seasoned their eggs- like the Aiyana was soy braised because the plain egg had no flavor. My fried did the spicy ramen and while the broth was absolutely delicious, the spicy level could be amped. But I swear they give you two pounds of noodles so it's filling and we left very satisfied! Will absolutely come back again!

Flying V Harvest was fantastic. I drank that broth like I just came out of the Sahara. So good. The Impossible meat fusion is a funny add but a good protein bump. It was a few days ago but I think I'm still full from that ramen bowl. The vibe is modern high ceiling bumping music; my in-laws found it to be too loud. I think they are giving you an excuse to lean in and get a little closer to your companion. The vibe is chic yet also casual so bring whoever you want but this would work for date night. The font on the menus is squint inducing so do your research ahead of time or prepare to spend more time perusing the menu than usual, especially with the dim lighting. They offer thin or thick noodles and can mix some broth options to adjust spice level. Drinks- the smoked in front of your face whiskey is a treat and a show. Solid spot. No regrets. Salivating at the thought of the next visit.

Their ramen is flavorful and solid and their service is consistent. Parking: parking is free in the garage around the corner from JINYA. We went during the week and the garage was not packed. There's also paid street parking around the restaurant that you can find but look for signs to know when you have to pay and when you don't. Service: service here is very good. They have an army of waitresses and waiters who check on tables and we never had to ask for refills or never had to flag down someone. Our food came out in a timely manner. The one thing I will say about service is the appetizers we ordered came out right before our ramen so we had all of our food at one time which was a lot. I wish they would've spaced out the food timing a little more. Ambiance: JINYA has a modern interior and open concept. They have tables, booths, and 2 big community tables in the center of the restaurant. The restaurant playlist is hip and modern. The inside of the restaurant is dimly lit so if you have bad eyesight, get ready to use your flashlight to read the menu. Food: we ordered two ramens and the gyoza and edamame. Gyoza: these were fried well and had a gyoza sauce that came on the table. The wrapper was thin and they were not too oily. We would order this again. Edamame: this was typical edamame. Nothing too special. Would not get this again when we come back. Creamy Classic Tori-Paitian: this is a chicken ramen with wavy noodles that came with fried enoki mushrooms, chicken chasu, butter, spinach and a corn rib. This ramen was rich in flavor and had so many fun, delicious toppings. The corn run was grilled nicely and I wish I had more of them in my bowl. I'm a sucker for enoki mushrooms and this did not disappoint. I took the enoki mushrooms out of the ramen immediately so they didn't get soggy fast and that was the move if you want the mushrooms to stay crunchy. The chicken broth was rich and light which was a great combo. I finished this bowl to the last drop. JINYA Chicken Ramen: my girlfriend got the chicken ramen with a side of bamboo. Warning on the bamboo: the bamboo comes dressed in sesame oil and sole hot oil so they are a little spicy. The chicken ramen broth was once again rich with flavor and light. The chicken chase was good and this ramen comes with thin noodles instead of wavy noodles. Overall JINYA hits the spot when craving ramen or some hot soup on a cold day. The chicken broth is legit and I will be closing back to try the pork broth soon. My only qualm with JINYA is the price at over $17 per bowl of ramen. There are cheaper ramen places but JINYA flavor makes up for the priciness.

However, since crawfish season is one of my favorite times of the year, I had to come back to try their limited edition ramen. Just like my first visit, the staff were extremely friendly, the food came out incredibly quickly, and the overall experience felt comforting and welcoming. I ordered the seasonal bowl, The Crawmen, which came with crawfish tonkotsu broth, andouille sausage, bayou butter, corn, and peppers. While the bowl was clearly inspired by a crawfish boil, I felt like it could have leaned even further into those flavors with more crawfish and a stronger boil seasoning overall. The ramen was definitely delicious, but the broth did not quite have enough crawfish boil flavor to fully separate it from their standard tonkotsu ramen. At times, it mostly tasted like the original broth with andouille sausage added in. Even so, it was still an enjoyable bowl of ramen, though I would probably stick to one of their regular menu options over this seasonal special. My mom and I also shared the Karaage, which arrived very quickly while still being piping hot, crispy, and juicy inside. On the other hand, I would personally skip the Sakura Sweet Tea and Strawberry Yuzu Lemonade in the future since they mostly tasted like their regular counterparts without adding anything particularly unique. Overall, I still really enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and reliable quality of this place, especially the ramen and karaage. While the seasonal bowl did not fully live up to its concept for me, the experience itself was still enjoyable enough that I would gladly return again.

Not that we were counting because we were INDULGED in those nachos LOL Babii rated her Oxtail Ramen a '7/10' for $25. She would've preferred to get shiitake mushrooms because she particularly didn't like the fact that the Oxtails were shredded and not on the bone (which is what we both expected when reading it). She also would've liked if they gave her a spice option since she likes spicy ramen. Unfortunately, we had to purchase a nasty 'Kappa' sauce which was not worth the $1.50. To her the portion size was A1, however we paid for the meat so it wasn't worth the $25. Now, the Vegetable Garden to me was a '8.5/10' it was good, had amazing portion size and they were not lacking in the texture department. I mean, the spinach noodles were delish, vegetable cooked very Al dente. I cannot complain on that part. To me it was missing a bit of flavor, maybe salt would've done the trick. Overall though, it did have the flavor of the mushrooms which wasn't bad. Most importantly though, I felt light after consuming my meal. Therefore, I have to give it all a high rating. GO TRY THIS PLACE OUT, ITS WORTH THE TRY
