[[HIGHLIGHT]]One of the best happy hours around and such a fun spot for Christmas when it is fully decorated![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service and food has been great every single time I've gone. A picture of the happy hour is attached but the phone definitely did not eat first this round. Highly recommend the warm olives!

Came here for a networking event. They were very accommodating to our large group. Food was so yummy. I tried meatballs and garlic focaccia. Will def return for the pizza and happy hour. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Gorgeous restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Quite a way away from our hotel in the Gulch area, but on my go to list. Welcomed quickly and nicely, told there was about a 10-minute wait. We were seated in the main area and our server stopped by quickly, she was great, went over the menu and made suggestions when we had questions. I tried the Nashville Amber beer; it was very smooth and light and I enjoyed it. We started with the Big Italian salad, it was enough to split, I got it without cheese. It was great. I am newly into olives so I ordered Olives and Oven Bread. I wasn't a fan of the olives, they were so hot temperature wise, I couldn't eat them till after the pizza, and they were just to much seasoning for me. I loved the Oven bread. Crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. A great char from the oven. For pizza we ordered the classic Margherita and added pepperoni. I was delicious! Lots of pepperoni, great chew on the crust. yum! On our way out we chatted with the manager, he was super nice and I enjoyed talking food with him. My reason for visiting Nashville on the heels of watching Somebody Feed Phil and Nashville eateries featured on Diners, Diners, and Drives. Great visit!

My husband and I had our wedding at Nicky's Coal Fired, and we could not recommend it enough. Caroline, the co-owner was quick to answer our inquiry, provided us a PDF of what they offer for private events and quoted us a very reasonable price for a food and drink minimum for 120 guests for a seated dinner. Their food and drink minimum included set up, clean up, servers, bartenders, A/V system, plenty of free parking, and a day of coordinator who was amazing. We met with our day of coordinator, Katie, a couple of times before the wedding, and she was also very easy to communicate with via e-mail. She made the day of our wedding run very smoothly so we didn't have to worry and were able to enjoy ourselves. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nicky's also has a lovely atmosphere with a modern and industrial feel, with brick walls, high ceilings, large windows, wood floors, mid-century modern art and lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our guests had a great time and still talk about the food, especially the focaccia bread. The staff start prepping the food well before Nicky's opens and make everything from scratch including their bread, pasta, and pizza dough, which is very evident in its fresh taste. Before and after our wedding, we have dined-in several times and have always had excellent, friendly service. Our favorite night to go to Nicky's is Tuesdays for the $10 pizza. I recommend Nicky's to anyone looking to plan an stress-free private event with yummy, fresh food or just looking for a quick and delicious meal at a cozy, locally-owned Italian restaurant. It's great for large parties or small, and they now offer reservations online.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautifully decorated for the holidays! I'm so glad I came here for the Christmas pop up. It definitely put me in the holiday spirit[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Food and drinks were really good. The pizza was phenomenal, the wood fired crust was light and tastes better with the coal fired method than a regular oven. For the table, we got the garlic bread and I can drink the homemade marinara. So fresh and the bread was baked perfectly. For the pizza, we for the pleased to meat you and think of a meats lover pizza but not too heavy. It had Spanish chorizo salami, Pepperoni, and Italian sausage. The espresso martini was delicious, they added some holiday touches to it. They have a great happy hour but sadly we missed it due to the wait, but I'll be back!

Nicky's has been on my list of restaurants to try since I moved to Nashville over 3 years ago! So to say I had built up anticipation would be an understatement. Lauren was our server and she was so sweet and attentive the entire time. She answered all of my menu questions and made sure we had an incredible experience. She is fantastic! We got the Classic Margherita (heart-shaped for upcoming Valentine's Day), warm olives (only $5 on HH), Tiramisu (MUST ORDER ITEM!!) and my friend's little girl ate for free from the kid's menu because kids eat free on Mondays! Everything was phenomenal and was made quickly by the kitchen. Nicky's absolutely exceeded every expectation I had and it was SO worth the 3 year wait! But it definitely won't be that long again before I return :)

Me and a friend went to "Saint Nicky's" because we wanted to do something festive but low key and heard good things. We started with the focaccia which was like a crunch cloud - perfect! She got the ravioli and I got the ragu with fun tree pasta. Her ravioli butter sauce was quite rich according to her. The ragu was perfect and the fun pasta shape was a perfect temperature. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the music (they played a lot from the 80s made for tv classic "once upon a Christmas" with Kenny & Dolly which I loved).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of fun decorations inside and out. It was like a Christmas nostalgia capsule dialed up to 11.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't wait to go back next year, but until then I'll still go visit for a less festive but equally delicious meal!

First time using Nicky's for catering and certainly won't be the last. I worked with Caroline who is a gem, and a fellow Chicagoan! Menu first... phenomenal. They cater to you. Need gluten free? Done. Need vegan? Done. So helpful for work events. I ordered so much: kale Caesar, cauliflower app, chicken piccata, famous meatballs, a few pastas, tiramisu and some cannolis. Everyone raved about the food! My personal favorites were the salad and meatballs. Caesar dressing was so fresh and the red sauce with the meatballs you should jar. When the meeting was over I legitimately scraped the extra sauce into a ball jar and took home. Best red sauce ever, and I'm critical. Delivery was a breeze and they were perfectly on time. I have no complaints. 10/10 recommend.

Stopped here because it's a DDD. Pizza was delicious, had a Nice to Meat you pizza, and service was fast.

Hands down Nicky's makes delicious and fresh Italian cuisine. They are known for their meatballs and yesterday I finally tried them--huge and full of flavor! Typically, I'm not a spaghetti and meatball kinda gal, but I thoroughly enjoyed this entree. Might I add that this dish is big enough to share or pair with something else and have leftovers (as I did with my salad). I enjoy their pizzas, but I was very pleased with the meatballs and salad and I would order again.

Tony!! So great meeting a fellow midwesterner !!

We got 2 potato creams, one pepperoni, and one spicy tomato. The tomato sauce especially tasted so fresh. Absolutely amazing! The gnocchi was also very yummy - you can taste the care they put into preparing the mushrooms as well. The sweet corn polenta was fabulous - the perfect amount of sweet corn taste (not overwhelming at all) with perfectly cooked polenta. The melon dish was also super refreshing. All of the dishes were shared. The service was also so friendly and attentiv, which I appreciate! We also sat at the bar and I loved being able to see the open kitchen, with everyone carefully crafting dishes before our eyes. Fabulous dinner experience!

We came close to open on Monday without a reservation and was able to be seated right away. Service was also fast and friendly. No complaints at all. For the food, you can tell they used the freshest ingredients. All the vegetables were amazing! Since it was Focacceria we definitely needed to try the sfincione. We got the potato and spicy tomato. The focaccia was top tier! Light and airy but had a nice chew. The spicy tomato was my favorite. They tomato sauce was so good and well seasoned! The potato though ate very heavy.

I took my buddy out for a celebratory promotion dinner to Ophelia's. We're from Huston and staying at the hotel across from this restaurant, we heard great things so on our last night we decided to celebrate his good news here. Within thirty seconds of us sitting down our waitress came out to greet us and pour waters for us. She was incredibly kind and bubbly, beautiful young girl. The service was next level. Our server, Lu lu, gave us great recommendations on cocktails and appetizers. She got to know what we enjoyed and recommended the whipped ricotta to us, which was delicious. Creamy ricotta with honey, oil, spice, and bread. Game Changing bread, perfectly baked. When it was time for our dinner, we decided to get the calzone, lasagna, and a pizza. The food came out within twenty minutes and it was just incredible. We decided for tiramisu as our dessert, but we should've gotten the cream puff, the table next to us got one and it looked great. When our waitress brought out our check she very respectfully asked where my buddy was from, as he has a pretty thick accent. He told her that he's Russian and her face lit up, she immediately started having a full conversation with him in Russian. Apparently, she knows the language conversationally. I mean, what a coincidence. My buddy was so tickled by it, and I think he really appreciated it. We also saw the chef come out and talk to one of the other tables, seriously, people were asking to speak to the chef to give their compliments. All in all, this was a wonderful restaurant that runs smoothly and is very professional. Yet it still remains to make you feel as if you're important and taken care of. Come here if you are able.

The spaghetti was watery and mushy. Sauce tasted like it came from a can. I had to order bread they brought out fuccata bread that was more than just chard. Over all the meal was forgettable and a disappointment for the price. The dessert was better. The waitress said the cheese cake was made there and was like what you get in NYC all I can say it was tasty but very light and frothy. I think they need a trip to NYC and start again. The cappuccino was almost cold and very bitter. Could have been better. My waitress was very pleasant but kept forgetting to bring out utensils. Spoon for the spaghetti, fork for the dessert. Spoon for the cappuccino. Perhaps it was just an off night. For me I thought for the money it was a a bit of a disappointment.
