I love the food, the service is great, very friendly, efficient and the casual system works well with everything else.

I remembered this place being good years ago. Some friends told us it's not as good anymore. Can't say much for the service, I ordered a chocolate shake that eventually came out after we had eaten and were literally leaving. The burgers are frozen thin dry patties which had an off flavor. The sides all from frozen bag. Two burgers with a side, drink and shake was $45. You'll have a better experience at any fast food restaurant. Hoping we don't get sick from eating this. Absolutely incredible mom and pop burger stop! Always the friendliest service, with the best burgers and fries in town. I would always drive from wherever I've lived in Fort Worth for an amazing bacon cheeseburger with grillled mushrooms and onions and they never fail to fill me up. Wonderful staff. Quick service. Was our first time so they were very helpful . Not fancy but clean. Extra picnic tables outside. Excellent food . I tried the cheese steak sandwich and husband got a double bacon cheeseburger. We had a tough time finishing them. Definitely will go back to try more of the menu. read more

The portions here are crazy! ive never seen a burger so big in my life. We got the Shane burger, lumberjack burger, jalapeño cheese sticks, & curly fries. Everything was really good & piping hot. I had to eat my burger with a knife & fork that's how big it was.. doesn't come with condiments you have to add that yourself but that's not an issue for me. I would say the price was reasonable for what you get. If you have friends in town that have never been to texas I would definitely take them here to experience Nicky ds food. read more

How do you not love this place from start to finish? It's the small town burger joint that never closed. You can just feel the grease from the burgers on the walls. We went at 230 and it was still pretty busy. It was a Saturday. Decided to check place out because we hadn't been here before and this place came highly recommended by google and a local foodies group. Parking was plentiful. Set up is a bit odd, but the place is kind of small. The entrance door is right by the cashier, so it's a bit of a squeeze to get in. Decor inside was fun and relaxed but the place could use a good deep clean. They have a good/extensive menu and you can get a beer if you'd like. Texastooth picks and homemade ranch were very good. Burger was good, I personally didn't think it was 'all the rage' good, but it was an enjoyable burger. Comes without sauce and they have ketchup and mustard on the table. Bun was nice. THIS PLACE SLAPS! Easily one of my top three burger joints. My husband ordered the Jammer and I ordered the Hash burger. Flavor was all there. French fries are either supper good, or just a bag filled with hard crunchy burnt pieces. You never know which you will get. The meat patties taste good, but the buns are really off putting. They brush something on them then toast them, whatever that is, they really need to stop and just toast the buns plain. Onion rings are pretty good. read more

So many reviews with such high praise. I went out of my way 25 minutes to specifically go here today. Waste of time, money and gas. I paid $18 for a cheeseburger with onion rings and a drink. The rings were good, though they needed salt. The burger with cheddar was the blandest burger I've had. It looked good. Big patty, toasted bun fresh veggies, melty cheese. Even after I added mayo, salt and pepper I couldn't finish it. And the drink was in styrofoam. I've had much better burgers at Five guys and even Whataburger. Also the place was not clean. Went to Nicky d's in Crowley to check it out and it was pretty dang good! I got the chase burger and the patty is a good ol' fashioned home style meat patty, I think what really set it off was the egg and the perfectly cooked bacon . Which the fries were awesome too but that cheese and bacon, yum!!!! And my son's grilled cheese was even bomb!!! Cant wait to go back and try some of the other delicious sounding options! read more
