I hate doing this but we have had enough bad experiences now. Tired of paying good money for bad food. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with sweet potato fries. The chicken tasted like it was covered in pepper and the fries looked and tasted like they had been sitting around for a while and were then reheated and served, overcooked. They were also delivered earlier than quoted but cold when they got here. Big disappointment, we used to order here all the time and loved it. This was once a favorite spot of ours until we witnessed consistent arrogance from one of the guy's (manager?) behind counter yelling at the staff in front of customers. He would also yell at other staff about the way they were doing their job. This guy, who should not be in a customer-facing business, was unprofessional each and every time. He should have pulled the employee off the line and spoken with out of the line of the public. This guy needs to attend a human relations ethical class. It's embarrassing to witness and I see it nearly every visit. The food is decent but priced high. For a large sub, which is only 10-inches long, it's nearly $10. Whole pizzas are ok but also very expensive. Restaurant is off Route 1 in Salisbury. Parking lot is awkward and terrible getting in and out. Gets very busy at night during peak dinner times. Walk in or place order online or over the telephone. During peak times, it should not take very long for the order, especially if calling ahead but ours did several times. Restaurant with tables onsite. Never stayed to eat but appears to have enough seating. There are plenty of other better sandwich shops in the area. I recommend you go to another where they treat the hired employees with respect. read more

This place is a surprise waiting for you to happen by! It seems like a neighborhood stop-in hamburger joint but boy what a treat! Up from LOUISIANA, I was impressed. The shrimp, scallop and lobster risotto was out of this world filled with enough seafood to feed two, literally and served with warm, crunchy garlic bread. The lobster mac and cheese was a repeat performance that lacked nothing. Generous helpings of each left two girls too full to waddle away, but then.... The super nice guy who took our order delivered the most divine chicken caesar salad that we just HAD to have. He was right! The best salad dressing topped a ton of feta and we were set for a long nap. Hats off from Cajun country to the guys and gals at Nick's! Ahhh-eeee, we passed a good time wit y'all. Ordered via a delivery app and paid an inflated price for a "large" meatball sub, that was good but wouldn't be considered a large at any other pizza place in America. Subway serves a bigger sandwich. That's not my issue, however. After I placed the order and paid via the delivery app, the restaurant decided to tack on additional charges to my order, after it was too late to cancel. They marked the reason for the charge was a change to the order, however nothing was changed or added or different than the default selections. The restaurant just wanted to collect a few extra dollars. I won't be ordering again when I am in this area because of the deceptive nature of this transaction. read more

Great food, great service! This was our first time at Nick's Place and I will have to say it was fantastic. The staff there are super nice and considerate. Didn't matter if you were a first timer or a frequent customer, Nick's family/staff are very welcoming. A casual family friendly restaurant with a nice sign that says "Enter as strangers. So 99% of pizza places get three stars because they just deliver exactly what you expect and you are never surprised. That being said, Nick's overdelivers consistently. Service has been spot on and the only negative comment on the menu's wall is from someone who seems to hate anything if you read through her history. The Pizza is large great and tasty especially for the price. The wings are spectacular. Haven't disliked anything I've tried so far and they have a lot of interested and non-standard offerings. So we just ordered from here this evening, and it had been several months since the last time we ordered. The difference was so amazing we were determined to write this review! Nick's was always a little better than everything else, but now seriously it's WAY better! They were fast, everything was neatly wrapped with clean printed labels. Most importantly, the food was super tasty! The roast beef slider alone was: 1. Perfectly seasoned. 2. Perfectly moist and soft. 3. Needed absolutely no sauce! "Flawless" I have ordered delivery from here several times. Online ordering is modern, easy, and spot on through the EAT24 app which is how I found this place. Order accuracy has always been 100% and when there was something unclear with my online order they called for clarification. The food is amazing and comes properly packaged. I have been impressed with everything I've ordered from here. Portions are large, much larger than other places that skimp. Everything seems homemade including the salad dressings, their balsamic was amazing! Could go on about the food everything I've order has been great! Also small details are not under done. EVERYTHING was very fresh, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. The soup was the perfect texture, was studded with big chunks of chicken, and the flavor was nuanced. It was the best I have ever had. Don't go to Nicks place if you don't want the virus. I called in an order and went to pick it up at the appropriate time. It was ready. Not one employee was wearing a mask had to be 7 of them. I'm 72 and of course I had my mask on. I stood there at the counter,the only one, and not one person even acknowledged me. I spoke up and asked if any one can help me NADA. I commented that no one was wearing a mask. Man was I spoken to very very rudely. My order finally was brought to the counter. The owner showed me a mask that he had on a shelf. By far the freshest food! Menu is so extensive I don't know where to begin! Fisherman's platter is crazy! Huge portion, loaded with sea scallops, shrimp, clams, lobster tails, and a huge piece of haddock! The grilled chicken in the Cesar salad was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. We also got a tuna melt, cheese fries, raviolis thru out the week and ALL WERE SO GOOD.
