We ordered tuna salad which in the past were THE BEST however this time it was clear it was dark cheap tuna. It was very fishy, which if you use Albacore is not and barely any mayo. Inedible onion rings, certainly not homemade as advertised, old and hard, literally inedible; chicken finger sub, certainly not chicken fingers, maybe a frozen chicken breast cut into strips that also was rock hard. Decided to do a takeout night from this place! The restaurant itself is very small so it's definitely a takeout kind of place. The calzones were arranged in a pizza box in a circle so that was interesting. The calzones were pretty good. The sauce was the best part! The dough and the cheese was average. What you would expect from a takeout place. I also got the lamb kabobs which was a huge disappointment. I asked for medium rare and the meat came out well done. It was so chewy and dry that I had a hard time eating it. The peppers and onions that came with the lamb pieces were so so greasy. They were swimming in a pool of oil! Yuck! I wouldn't recommend the kabobs. Stick to pizza and calzones! I didn't try anything else from the menu but from my experience, this is an average place. The prices were a bit high for the quality of food so unfortunately I won't be back. read more

We have been ordering from Nick's for several years. Their food is usually very good. As I've mentioned before, consistency is an issue. Today, I ordered a sausage, pepper, and onion sub. It's one of the best sandwiches on their menu. Typically, they slice the sausages lengthwise and top them with the peppers and onions. The sausages are usually perfectly cooked and juicy. Not today. The sausages were chopped into small pieces and cooked to death. Hard and tasteless. Again, consistency is key. Customers want to know that they will get the same product over and over. Not at Nicks. They're like that proverbial box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. read more

Inconsistent and rude when you have a complaint. We order every couple of weeks for delivery and tip well. One time we ordered for a specific time delivery and the order was an hour early, my husband refused delivery and said to follow the instructions for a new order since I was at work. They reheated the hour old order and delivered it. Most of it went in the trash. I was told when I called that they don't look at the time on the order. Today it took over an hour to receive our order which is usually early. I was told when I called about it that it left at 630, but when it finally showed up lukewarm 20 minutes later the delivery person said he just picked it up. We live about a mile away. read more

My daughter and I went to Nick's Place for the first time, and were highly disappointed primarily in the management. We arrived to the manager involved in an angry dispute over an order that was delivered to the wrong address. Not sure if he was arguing with the customer or the delivery driver. The language was not pleasant, and throughout our meal the "F" bomb was being thrown out by the entire staff continuously. Food is amazing and I have been a regular customer for several years but in the last several months, we've been getting issues from a delivery delivery driver who dishonestly confronts us about not leaving a tip after we have left one by credit card trying to snag a second cash tip when we already paid. I will continue to pick up their excellent food that I love but I will not be getting delivered anytime soon if I'm going to be harassed by their delivery driver. One bad review, and like a previous post said...that chick leaves all negative reviews on her other check-ins. This place is a must stop. Immediately greeted by staff upon entering. Friendly staff gave my daughter 2 quarters for the machines. Got my uber picky 5 year old and pineapple and cheese small pizza. She has eaten 4 pieces so far. 1/2 the pizza! This NEVER happens. My 2 option combo is huge, can't possibly finish it. Love how friendly the Romanian employee is. We will be bookmarking this for our quarterly trips back east. Seattle take note! The chicken was chunks of dry and tasteless and chewy! I called to let them know how dissatisfied I was and they were like "oh OK". I ordered a delivery and it was delivered awhile ago. I am elderly and the man who delivered the order was amazing. He saw that I had two trash bags ready to take down two flights of stairs and he asked me if I wanted him to take them down for me. We were on vacation for a week and ordered from these guys three times, first time was good and they had a gluten-free pizza for my wife who cannot have gluten. The second time was not as good, it seems the people taking the orders have no idea what gluten is so when we asked for a rice bowl thinking it was gluten-free only to find out it had pilaf in it. Person on the phone had no idea what gluten is which is disconcerting in this day and age. Third time I found this piece of plastic in a bite of my pizza, very lucky that I did not bite down on it wrong and cut my mouth or worse, swallow it and rip my esophagus, absolutely crazy. Great little place. It looks like a typical plaza pizza joint, but the food is exceptionally well-prepared. In particular, the lobster club was the best lobster sandwich I've had anywhere. We've been ordering Margarita pizzas from Nicks for years. When they are cooked right, they are delicious. The problem is consistency. They apparently don't have a fixed recipe to make that pizza. Each cook uses his own discretion. As a result, you don't always get their best. Today was a good example. We ordered a Margarita. The pizza was overcooked. The dough was hard. There was way too much cheese, and the basil was put on before it went in the oven. When they make it right, their dough is one of the best we've ever had. The sauce is put on, followed by mozzarella. Then thin sliced tomatoes are scattered over the pie and are topped with a piece of fresh mozzarella. The pie is cooked, and fresh basil is minimally scattered over the pies. My advice is to develop a recipe and train their cooks so you get the same pie every time you order. read more

We ordered take out from Nick's by mistake as we thought it was another shop nearer to our.home. I had to use GPS to find them and am glad I did. The food was excellent! We ordered Greek Salad, Hawaiian Pizza and appetizer spanakopita. This review would be a 5 except for the unpleasant, passive aggressive woman who gave me my order. There was something clearly wrong.... I felt so uncomfortable as she was clearly pissed off about something. The gentleman at the register was very pleasant however one could have cut the tension in the air with a knife. I don't know what was up with the staff. The food was excellent. The spanakopita was amazing and delicious. The pizza was excellent because the toppings were numerous, fresh and tasty. Lastly, the Greek salad, although pre made, had ample Feta and lots of vegetables on it. My last comment is about the ordering on the website. So easy to use to order and customize our order.
