DO NOT GO HERE! One of the employees YELLED at my brother (who has autism btw) for being "too rough on the machines." Mind you, he was just playing the games, no damage was done to anything he touched. My little brother started bawling after getting yelled at, and the guy proceeded to kick us out. I'm guessing he's the same guy mentioned in the other bad reviews. He wouldn't let us get a refund, and continued to harass us until we were out the door. When I asked his name, he took his name badge off and said "we don't do names." He then ran to the back and out the door when I went to get a picture. Tells you everything you need to know. This dude is a freak, and I saw him have similar interactions with many of the other parents and kids there. Will not ever be bringing my family back again. I suggest going to Dave and Buster's or some other arcade where they will actually treat you right, especially after all the money we spent here and didn't even get to use.

A blast from the past...my 12 year old nephew could have spent an entire day here, it's a pretty epic set up. Everything from pinball to old favs like Donkey Kong, Frogger, and newer games, there's essentially something for everyone. $2.25 to get in, you load a card with money and swipe at each game. The older games really are a nickel, as you move closer to the front/newer machines cost 2-4 nickels....still pretty affordable. Definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon, kids birthday party, or even a date night. Friendly staff, clean & plenty of free parking. Check it out!

Yes it is a very old facility but it is a fun place for the locals. There was a line out the door from the moment we entered and the moment we left. The only catch to the "Nickel" arcade is that you do have to pay $2.50 to even enter whether you are watching or playing. I understand the economics on this but it does catch you off guard if you haven't been there before. The concept of nickel games is a great idea; most games cost .20-.60 to play. I dislike the card concept though! The idea of tokens/nickels and tickets give you more of the thrill when you win a game and the machines spit out tons of tickets vs you won 15 tickets and they will he added to your card.. My kids were a little sad about that but nonetheless they enjoyed the arcade. If you are looking for some fun/cheap entertainment this is a good option!

I want one of these in AZ! What a great way to spend a fun couple of hours with your kids. It has a nice mix of vintage games like Tron, Frogger, etc., pinball machines, and new games. It costs $2.25 each to get in, whether you're playing or not. Next, you can purchase bags of nickels from them. We bought 100 nickels for $5, but ended up buying two more bags because we were having fun. Some games took one nickel, many took 2 or 3, and a few took five nickels. So you get a LOT of play time for your money. I would think to myself "Ooh! This machine takes 5 nickels!" Then quickly remember that it's only a quarter! My son and I had nearly two hours of fun there, all for less than $20. Loved it!

    Does it have coin pushers?

Yes, they have several coin pushers that you can play and win tickets (the coins don't fall out, tickets do). Hope that helps!

I'd be interested to come back on a slower day, because it was difficult to be in charge of kids here during a very crowded, overstimulating, busy weekend. We came here for a birthday party on a Saturday afternoon and all of the kids were given a card to swipe on all the games. The points you won were automatically uploaded to the card. I was so nostalgic for when you used to get actual paper tickets at the arcade! This is not the case here, and probably most other places nowadays. The staff was friendly and the arcade itself was much cleaner than I was expecting. Some of the games weren't working and there wasn't any signage communicating that. The group of kids I was with LOVED the merry go round and the little rides catered to the smaller kiddos. Those games obviously don't accrue any points, but they did win some points and were able to pick up some prizes at the end. If you get overstimulated easily (like myself), this place probably isn't for you - lots of noises, lights, bright colors and carpeting. It is a fun place for families, and even with it being busy, we didn't ever have to wait long for the games we wanted to play. Would be interested to come back during the week when it's less busy!

There's a $3 entry fee, but it's waived if you pay for a reloadable card starting at $10. I got lost playing the nickel drop machine where you stick a nickel in and strategically drop it to push a stack of Nicole's off the platform. Your prize is tickets and not the nickels. You definitely have to swipe your card after each win since there's sneaky little kids that may try to swipe their card as they walk by. My boyfriend brought rubber gloves to wear and I didn't quite understand why until I touched a joystick playing ninja turtles. It's pretty gross and they should have more sanitizers around. The arcade games are a bit dated and not all of them em properly. The guy at the front desk is the only one here so it's hard for him to fix anything during business hours. Overall still very fun, but not something I can do on a regular basis. Great for kid's birthdays, cheap first dates, or place to burn 2 hours of fun for $20.

You have to go into this experience knowing what to expect. As long as your expectations are set…read moreproperly, you won't be disappointed. The location of this arcade is in a tired, worn down strip mall that has mostly empty stores. It's a little sad, honestly. I'd say most of the action is here and the toy store a few doors down. (There's also a police substation, but I'd hope most of their action is elsewhere.) Anyway, you pay a $3 entrance fee per person. Doesn't matter if grandma just wants to watch, she gets to pay. So plan for that. You can bring your own nickels, or they will supply them to you at cost (you pay for $2 in coins, you get $2 in coins). All the games accept nickels; some only a couple, others quite a few. Most of the games also spit out paper tickets based on your winnings, which you then redeem for prizes at the counter. Don't expect the prizes to be too alluring-cheap candy and toys akin to the dollar store is what you'll find. But it's plenty appealing to the kids-they love this stuff! From my observation, about 85% of the games worked, while a handful did not. That didn't deter my group, they just moved on to the next game. I saw hand sanitizer at the front counter as well as on a couple tables on the game floor. Everything appeared clean, just a little worn. The bathrooms were also pretty dated, but nothing terrible. Overall, if you're an eight year old kid with a pocket full of coins, I can see you finding a few hours of fun here. It would be cool if they had a snack bar or even a vending machine available to us hungry and thirsty moms who are 100% here for the enjoyment of someone other than ourselves.

The cards/computer was malfunctioning since it said my cards didn't have any points when we had been playing games for a while.... They also do not give you all of your points for some/most games. It's clean I will give them that.
